The room was nice, the pool was clean and huge. Checking in took a very long time, and they said they could not find my reservation. They finally found it and said they had a "new system". I also had to show them what I was supposed to pay through booking.com.

Location was good....room was decent size. The bathroom could use a good bleach cleaning. There was a touch of mold. Also coffeemaker was inoperative. They could also use more towels...

Bed was comfortable and the windows opened. We were given the keys to our room, walked in and someone else’s bags and things were in the room! Had to be switched to a different room.

Clean. Comfy, rather large

The ground were unkept, room unprepared and very hot, sheets had yellow stains, bar, restaurant and pool closed, pictures on line were not up to date! We didn't stay and lost our ,money as booking.com didn't refund. Notice was given right away and still no refund.... Wasn't Worth the risk of staying there.

Staff smells like they forgot to shower… For the week. It’s the most expensive and the worst dive we’ve ever had the misfortune of staying in. We left early. Oh, and hotels.com should remove the “pool” amenity. It’s empty and it will never be restored. It’s a sham.

*on a good note- rooms and bathrooms were clean.

They were an hour late getting us into our room they didn't want to give us a receipt on the 100 dollar deposit they decided to charge the pool didn't have any water in it ive stayed here a couple times before without a problem but this time was a complete hassle poor staff attitude was super poor on getting my room on-time which they said be 20 mins wound up being little over a hr before I was able to go into my room probably won't book this place again

False advertisement online. Game room with arcade only had a fooseball table, pool was drained and under construction, not allowed to check in due to room not being cleaned until 7pm not 3pm. Lady at check in was coughing everywhere. Room TV in bathroom did not work, fireplace also broken. Cigarette burn in room sofa, bed stank of cigarettes, carpet had wet sticky areas that blackened my feet. Surrounding area sketchy. Very disappointed and they only wanted to give 10% discount.
-
The screens on the sliding doors were ripped so we couldn’t open the door for some fresh air. The room was very musty. The only other complaint was the breakfast was below par. The staff was very helpful, however. They also were busy cleaning up after a wind storm left branches and broken glass around.

Nice quiet place. The gym was useful. The Problem I have is room needs to clean carpet. Mold smell was unpleasant. Major issue. Everything else Great.

you can either spend $500 a night or $150 during really big events at UIUC. We chose the later. and based on that i would stay again. I wouldn't say amenities are really a thing. i booked through Hotel.com and that interface was really poor but not a issue of the hotel. They did the best they could. Maybe new bed sheets and cushions would increase the "value" but not cause too much increase in daily rate. they would have to spend ALOT of money getting it to the next level. But then the daily rate would be $300-500.

No hot water, reported to staff and they did nothing. Smells like mold. Staff refused to let me speak with the manager and would not give me contact information for him.
-
My check in was 3pm the room was ready at 6pm. The rooms were outdated, overpriced and under staffed. The only thing the manager offered was a small can of chips. At the very least itcouldve been a late checkout or discount. There was loud banging noises like construction. The shower next door sounded as if it was in the room. I did not sleep well. I was very tired when driving hours back home a true waste of money.
-
The grounds keepers were attempted to cut the grass to make it look nice but it was during check in so cars and people were getting grass clippings on them The rooms were questionably clean. Spiders in the corners, the shower liner and back stains and the shower curtain was ripped. The carpet was old and dirty. The entry way was dirty. Worst yet I left for the graduation and NO ONE came to clean my room. When I asked the front desk he said they was going to try later. Later never can

The place to stay in Urbana when all other hotels are booked. Relatively clean but poor property condition, amenities lacking, driveway and parking lot full of pot holes, landscaping mostly weeds, no blanket on the bed, front desks slow and still working with copy machine, poor hygiene of persons checking in guests. Room is worn and broken. No housekeeping for 2 days, no blanket or cover on bed, only a single sheet, towed stained and worn. TV barely larger that a monitor, sound messed up and signal weak. If this is the only place in town and you're in a bind, book here.

Worst place we ever stayed. Anywhere in the US. Terrible ROOM lobby smelled like urine. Fizzed balloons throughout the lobby and dust, grimy, long wait. Staff was decent but room had manyyy stains (red, green, dark) and couch looked like someone brought it from garbage day curbside! It was a decent free breakfast but we couldn’t leave fast enough!
