Upon our arrival the staff was super helpful and attentive! We got our room and after having driven a few hours it truly felt like a breath of fresh air. Breakfast was hot and ready the following morning when I came down at 6am! No reason not to stay here next time I’m in town!

We had one employee that made rude remarks under his breathe, stared at my wife uncomfortably during breakfast, every morning except his day off, when he would just stand there like a gaurd in a visitors room at a jail, glared at us in the pool room when he put chemicals in the hot tub. Pool is open 24/7, it was busy the night we got in, 17 hr drive straight through, so we went down about 9 am to help us relax before dealing with a dieing parent on hospice. The day we were to check out we had an emergency first thing in the morning but we were back by 11:30 to check out by noon. We walked in front door to grab a luggage cart to load up, as walking past front counter, employee said, wow these noon check outs are calling it close. We get up to our room and he already shut or card off to the door. He was doing them as we walked by. Had to go back to front desk for them to reprogram our card to get in the room. Breakfast was good, room was good, rest of employess were nice!

I got very little sleep due to noise from bathroom and the room being warm when thermostat said 66

I would love to have given 5 stars, my only complaint was the hot tub and pool. They were filthy - couldn't see in the hot tub the water was so dirty. The pool was WAY too chlorinated, you could see the chlorine on tip of the water and the bottom of pool had dirt or sand. The staff were exceptional snd friendly. We will definitely stay again. Nice room, amenities and convenient location.

Pillows crappy bed comfortable breakfast was nothing to write home about. Prefer fresh hot cereal instead of instant which is not good for you. Walls are thin you can hear people next door thought I was going to have to call down to desk but they left out and never heard anything else until I woke up around 5am.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and good. I had a discounted price plus it was a Monday night so price point was excellent for me.

The breakfast wasn’t too bad didn’t really have a lot of choices. The most thing that I did not like was the up charge on the room, which was supposed to be given back to me after check out, and after two weeks, the extra charge has not dropped off my credit card. And it’s hard to get in contact with them about this. They just give you the runaround.

Good location. Nice room. We booked this specific hotel because it had a hot tub and wanted to use it after a long trip. I have never seen something so disgusting in a hot tub in good rating hotel. It was full of white foam (assuming from chemicals) and on top of it you could see the dirt and was truly disgusting. Another patron that was sitting by the pool acknowledged our disappointment and said she already asked the front desk about it and the response was that they are not in charge of cleaning it….The room was comfortable and clean, although they need to check the bottles provided for lotion and shampoos.

It was a decent stay

The room was clean and orderly but there was no television over by the couch/seating area which I found odd - just a big empty wall. And there was no toaster in the kitchen area at breakfast - again, just odd

The pull-out sofa was incredibly uncomfortable. We could feel every spring in the thin mattress and the bars below. The queen beds were worn and sunken on the sides with definite ridges down the middle.

Every staff at the hotel were very polite and welcoming - from reception to kitchen. Pool was great, overall a great stay. Good job guys.

Quick trip for a vet visit at the university so we were traveling with our dog. We got in late due to road conditions and the woman at the front desk was so accommodating and wonderful! The facility was clean and calm. Our dog felt right at home, not anxious at all about being in a hotel for the first time. Wonderful place to stay if you’re traveling with a furry friend!

There was a constant smell of Marijuana coming frolm a room across from ours, down by the pool and one worker on overnights was smoking it when we went outside. Loud you could hear doors slamming and people running down the hallways.

Everything was good. Lady in the morning didn’t seem to happy I woke her up to check out.

Staff was very approachable and helpful. The location was close to the places we wanted to go. Overall the hotel met my expectations. There was a weird egg smell on the desk in one of our rooms as if someone had eaten hard boiled eggs on it.

Our room was made up when we checked in at 4pm. Not apology or anything. Also, very thin walls… you can hear everything outside your room, down the hallway, etc…

No handicap features. When we arrived the tv controller was not in the room. The toilet was. I slipped off the toik so low could not get off it, too low to floor.?was told only room with handicap toilet had one queen/ king size bed. There were 2 of us who didn’t want to sleep together

The one detractor was that the jacuzzi wasn't working. On a cold winter evening after a long-distance drive, my daughter and I were really looking forward to soaking in the indoor jacuzzi, an amenity that should be kept open and in good repair. People want this. I noticed a number of Google reviews also mentioned the pool or jacuzzi being down. I had hoped they werent reflective of a norm, but perhaps they were. Other than that, they run a tight ship.

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a long day of driving. The room was comfortable, spacious, quiet, and clean, and the bed & pillows were comfy. We particularly liked the breakfast set-up with stations spaced out around the perimeter of the room, eliminating waiting and crowded/awkward moments. We really thought it was a terrific idea and worked much better than other hotels where everything is along one wall!!

The hot tub and pool being open 24 hours was an amazing surprise. It was clean and uncluttered with lots of towels available. We had a microwave and the mini fridge actually had a FREEZER, which seems to be a rarity these days. The breakfast was very good, we came about 30 minutes before it closed and they still brought fresh trays of potatoes, sausage gravy, several fruit choices, cereals, bagels, waffle maker. It was such a nice treat. And it was about $10 cheaper than the next closest option that had a hot tub and pool. I see why its rated 9.0 and I absolutely agree. -Manager- If you read this, please give your staff a treat or bonus, every single one of them was A+ , from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the kitchen staff.

I specifically sought out a hotel that had a hot tub for a very stressful trip. After I checked in they told me the hot tub does not work.

We moved this hotel Comfort Suites after one night from the hotel next door named Wyndham Garden due to horrible experience there(dirty, messy, bad management , room 90 degree but ac failed…), this one is totally different, clean, quiet, big room like 5-star hotel, especially manager, owner and staff so friendly and working hard to maintain great environment, we love it so much, definitely we will come back to book this one next time again

The staff at the front desk were not friendly. I had to speak to them first to be greeted. If you did not speak or recognize them then they did not recognize you. Also, seemed to be busy on mobile phone. Customer service is poor.

This is my go to hotel I stay at when I travel now.

I purposefully booked because we wanted pool and hot tub, no where was there information that they weren't available. The girl checking me in was more interested in showing her coworker her new nails. Noise level was not kept down at designated times. Smoking right next to the entrance so we had to walk through it to go in. I'll never spend money there again. Way over priced for poor service.

The staff at this hotel are amazing! We asked to change rooms and were immediately relocated. I had left my cell phone charger in the first room, and when I noticed this a few hours later, it was retrieved for me with a smile. Wonderful breakfast with friendly staff there as well. All staff were always friendly and helpful. However, there were noticeable repair marks on the walls, dead insects near the lights, and no new boxes of tissues to refill when only 3 pairs of tissues were left.

I didn't have hot water in the sink, the amenities in bathroom were subpar, and the first night a bug was in my bed. I am not sure how this property is a 9/10.

Quick stay, no issues, bed super comfy, fan didnt stay running as we prefer the white noise for sleeping. We weren't planning to use the pool this time but it was out of service and we weren't aware until we got there.

The entire facility is out of date and lack of maintenance. The pool and spa were not available and they don’t post it when you make reservations. But they posted a sign at the time of checking in. The front desk staffs were friendly and this is the only thing I can appreciate.

This was my first stay in Champaign so I'm not familiar with other properties in the area however this is a very run down, not exceptionally clean hotel. I would say mediocre at best. The room was very dated, soap from another person was left in the shower and on sink. It could use a face life. The bed itself is fine, pillows horrible and lumpy. Road noise was a killer even with my sound machine full blast. I will try other hotels in the area next time.

Was expecting more for the money I paid. We were bummed to find out the pool and hot tub were closed for our visit. The beds seemed smaller than queens. The food didn't seem made from fresh ingredients. But the staff was REALLY good - kind, accommodating, and helpful.

Overall the place is a decent place to stay for a visit. The lobby and everything was clean. The elevator had a panel that was coming off the wall and can use a little touch up. Stayed on the 2nd floor and you can smell the cholrine (from the pool on the 1st floor they was working on). But once I got into my room it was nice and cozy. Very clean and maintained. My only complaint about the room was the heater was a little loud but I manage to sleep through it because I was tired. The breakfast was good.

Quiet! Convenient parking and close to the university

$150 security deposit?????? Been traveling for over 40 yrs and NEVER had to pay a separate fee to cover any “damages” -They said it is refunded after checkout “inspection”. If it weren’t late and close to my morning Dr appointment I would have demanded refund for room and stayed elsewhere.

The executive suite was a downgrade from the king suite... wish i didnt oay the extra money just to move down to the king suite to be more comfortable.

Looks like the pool area was under some renovation but we were still able to swim & relax in the hot tub!! Staff was very friendly. This was a mediocre stay for the amount we paid. The room was clean but a bit out dated. The service was satisfactory but they didnt talk about any of the amenities. It was also very loud there. We could hear the upstairs guest as well as the traffic outside sounded like we were next to a freeway.

The front desk was welcoming and helpful and answered all our questions. The hot tub was luke warm and had a film on the water so we gave up on that. The hotel was quiet all night so we got a good night sleep, which we have found difficult in other hotels. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed a nice shower. The breakfast was hot and yummy but hubby missed having some sausage or bacon.

The staff were amazing!! The manager was constantly walking around greeting guests and asking if there was anything we needed. It’s a modest hotel but very clean with outstanding staff.

Had a great stay here. It was quiet and bed was comfortable. Check-in with front desk staff was quick and easy. Had to sign a pet waiver when checking in saying it’s mandatory to have room inspected by hotel staff before leaving. Front desk at checkout acted like it wasn’t something they typically did. Young lady said she worked there for six years and never had this type of request. Well, I read the form and signed my name on a paper saying I was responsible for this. Had manager do walk-thru of room at checkout because I traveled with dogs. He was happy to accommodate me. I would stay here again.

The room was very spacious, the beds were comfy, and the AC created the perfect white noise for sleeping. The pool, hot tub, workout room, and breakfast were all great! I did have issues parking (very narrow spaces, and not enough of them) and connecting to WiFi, but the accommodations were nice enough to overlook both.

The swimming pool water was too cold and appeared to have a filmy layer. The hot tub was just gross with dirty sudsy foam. It desperately needed clean water replacement. Breakfast bar was good, no complaints there.

Parking was tough-lot was full
