Galang hari villa

I had an amazing week with you. Every day there was a delicious breakfast, and the staff and the owner are incredibly kind. I really enjoyed the pool surrounded by rice fields. I highly recommend it to everyone—thank you so much!!

I came for 2 nights then extended for another 5 (7 total) I absolutely loved it here! The staff were so lovely and helpful. Walking distance to the raw temple, pyramids of chi, unified school of healing plus many other places or can get a scooter. Food also delivered here if need. The pool was lovely and great to chill by. The surrounding rice fields are gorgeous. Would be nice to have some vegan options for breakfast other than fruit ?

Beautiful location, in the middle of rice fields and away from the buzz of Ubud. Lovely room, well decorated and comfortable, as a single wooden bangalô. Everything was lovely, but maybe the breakfast could improve just a little bit. Nothing that affected our stay.

The place is an absolute retreat. The staff was extremely helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Dede & Ngurah made sure our stay was comfortable and went out of their way to help. The place is located in in the rice fields and you cannot reach it exactly by car. But the staff will carry your luggage and bring you up on the motorbike. The rooms are traditional balinese style and the pool is amazing. Loved everything and wished we could have stayed longer.

The owner and staff go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and cared for. Their kindness and attention to detail made my stay feel effortless and truly enjoyable. The villa itself is stunning! The pool is a perfect spot to relax and cool off, surrounded by lush, well-maintained gardens that add to the peaceful ambiance. Waking up to the beautiful grounds and enjoying a delicious breakfast every morning was such a delight. Whether swimming, relaxing by the pool, or simply soaking in the tranquility, every moment here felt rejuvenating. Galang Hari Villas is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience. I had a great stay at the villa for 5 nights in December. The staff was friendly and even helped pick me up by scooter with my bag. I was a solo traveler looking for relaxation and also a nice place to stay. This was my 3rd trip to Ubud in over 10 years and as the town has expanded, the downtown area has been too busy for me. I loved staying at Galang Hari Villa as it was only about a 10-15 min scooter ride away from the downtown. It meant that when I went out for the day, I was gone for most of the day. But coming back at night and the mornings were beautiful at the villa. The room was so comfortable and nicely decorated. Extremely quiet in the rice fields, except for when the volleyball competition was going on several km's away. I loved the outdoor bathroom and shower. Wish I could have used the soaking tub and the pool which was beautiful, but too much rain while I was there. I'd definitely stay here again. Also, just a note to other travelers, I ride a motorbike, but know that if you stay here, you'll need to either walk to the main road to get a car, and walk up and down a small hill and along a paved path that is only big enough for motorbikes or walking. I had a motorbike and backpack. Wheeled luggage might be more of a hassle but it is doable. Definitely rent a motorbike or get a Gojek or Grab bike to take your around. A car cannot get to the entrance of the hotel. This had nothing to do with the villa but they were doing major construction on the main road which means that you couldn't access the villa area easily by taxi. And when the volleyball competition was going on several km's away, you could hear the music until late night. But this is only sometimes and all over the valley, regardless of where you're staying in the area.

It's away from the city, the bathroom is just magical, morning walk along the rice so beautiful, the pool is perfect, there's only 3 huts, so a lot of privacy...

Rooms a little small. Pool lovely but only 2 sun loungers & limoted space ti sunbathe.

It is difficult to go there with large luggage, because you cannot reach the villa by car - only on foot or by scooter. And in the evening you need a flashlight to get there.

Relaxing and very clean place, and serves very great breakfast. Very helpful staff. Nothing
