Fantastic stay at Samara Villas. All the staff were friendly and polite and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Location is stunning with wonderful views all around. A 15 minute walk to Ubud center or they offer a 24/7 moped pickup which was much appreciated after a long day exploring Ubud & surrounding areas

A wonderful and spacious villa places right in the rice fields. Kind and welcoming staff and a shuttle service to get into town as it is not accessible by car. Great breakfast!

Cozy location in the middle of a rice field. Truly felt like the most relaxing environment. All the staff were so kind and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Italian restaurant on site was great. All the food was very tasty but our favorite was eggplant parmigiana. Staff provided complimentary scooter rides to town and it was a huge part of the fun, especially for our youngest age 5.

Great except I wasn’t aware we had to wait for a scooter shuttle to and from the property, no parking anywhere near it. One night staff simply didn’t respond to messages when we needed a shuttle

The experience of staying in a rice field met our expectations. Whilst a basic property it had all it needed for our stay. The breakfast was enjoyable and the afternoon tea was a lovely surprise. Had great water pressure and hot water which was a nice surprise. The staff were fantastic. What a lovely bunch of people they are. I would recommend this property for a different kind of stay.

Lovely staff made us very welcome and helped us in many ways. The villa was private, peaceful, cool, spacious. The location was great. We really enjoyed walking to local warungs for breakfast and dinner- too hot to walk in the middle of the day. It's got a bit of age on it, and perhaps our expectations were high based on other accomodations we'd had in Bali for similar price, but things like old faded brown towels, and it just didn't feel as clean as I'd have liked.

Wonderful stay! The property was clean, the staff was lovely, and the peaceful setting by the rice fields made for a perfect getaway. Plus, it’s just a short scooter ride to anywhere you want to go. Would definitely return!
