gorgeous grounds and views, huge villas - this should be a 4.5 star resort, but felt like a 3-star unfortunately restaurant was not good at all / the worst in all of our Bali travels. Awful food (breakfast and dinner), overstaffed with virtually no one dining there, no music or ambience. Utterly empty in high season. We regretted not sending our meals back, which we’ve never had to do in years of world travels.

The room was beautiful, the pool was perfection, you can’t beat the view. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was great.

Lovely resort area. Everything was clean. Outdoor pool was nice. Disappointed in how empty and uninviting the rooms felt. Some rugs or couches would have been a nice touch.

The garden If I come to Ubud again I would definitely not come here. I had the 2 bedroom villa and the pool, the garden and the pool were very beautiful and well maintained but the rooms... every day they put the AC on the lowest temperature because otherwise it smelled so bad you couldn't stay. When I wanted to put the lid on the bathtub, a frog jumped out of it, which is why I didn't take a bath in the bathtub anymore, only a shower, anyway everything seemed questionable and superficially cleaned. I didn't sleep with the AC on and in the morning everything smelled even though I kept the bathroom door closed. We had breakfast on the water in the pool which was a joke: an omelette, a juice from a box, 2 slices of bread with butter and jam and 1 plain old croissant, (for vegans they took out the omelette but didn't put anything in return, meaning we couldn't eat anything) everything wrapped in plastic without flowers or any other arrangement beside it and obviously after many phone calls they came 25 minutes late when the guide was already waiting for us at the reception.

excellent stay :)

It was so picturesque. Our room was beautiful and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet after staying in Legian for 10 days. The staff were so helpful and very friendly. Would have loved to stay for a few more days ❤️ The only thing we could suggest for improvement was a bigger TV. It was a little hard to see it from our bed but In saying that, we were not there to watch TV.

Pleasant

beautiful hotel, food was good and staff were OK as well. The hotel felt very impersonal due to it being a large resort. Other hotels were more homely and true Balinese style

We liked being out of town, no noise, peaceful, in nature. The breakfast was great and so was dinner and very reasonably priced too. The Villa was perfect for our family get away and was very private too. Having our own pool was just amazing The beds were a bit like sleeping on a rock. The steps to the pool need a bit of maintenance as some were a bit broken and wobbly. The top floor did get a bit warm despite the aircon being on.

Quiet, large room, fantastic location, great views. Hotel staff did their very best. The reception staff were excellent The property is looking jaded and tired with lots of maintenance issues which is a shame as its not so old. Dinner in the hotel was ‘ok’ at best.

Lovely villa, own pool, clean Service very slow, took 30 mins to get our drinks

It’s a massive property set amidst a forest with a small river flowing inside the properly but is poorly maintained. We booked a Garden villa which has a bathroom outside the room and it gave us an haunted house feeling in the night. Later the room was changed and upgraded to a pool villa as water wasn’t coming in the earlier one. The upgraded one was a huge one room studio but again the furniture was too old, creaking from everywhere. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant stay though the property has so much potential to be the best one. Management has to spend some dollars for its upkeep which sadly isn’t taken care of. Covered above.
