Kadewa Retreat was superb! A perfect little paradise in a quiet and secluded area outside Ubud. The road in is not fully sealed but our private drivers as well as a couple Grabs during our stay managed it fine. We stayed in one of the garden view villas which was perfect for us - great room with good aircon, and very private. There are a lot of stairs at Kadewa, so not a suitable venue if that is a problem for you - we had about 20-30 steps from the road/entrance down to our room, then another 20 or so down to the main pool and restaurant. From there, another 100 or so down to the river where the day spa was located, so we did only make that trip once! The restaurant and pool area was divine, with a stunning view across the valley with the river below. The breeze here was great, making it a great spot to sit and escape the heat any time of day. The restaurant menu was not super extensive, but more than enough variety for our 5 day stay and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal! Nothing. Loved it all!

A little far from town. Make sure you negotiate a taxi ride home fee. One unknown driver was very shroud. But the drivers supplied by the hotel were great.

There is a short little road that leads to the hotel that is full of deep holes and very muddy after rain. It definitely needs to be repaired.

The location, and the staff The road to the property is bad. Plus everytime you turn on the shower it smells like septic tank. I get it they use recycled water but that shouldn’t smell like taking shower in shit :)

We travel a lot and this was certainly one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Everything was as advertised in advance. The room was amazing, food delicious and the staff amazing!!! Thanks a lot, it was a pleasure staying in your hotel!!! It is really adults only!!! :)

It’s really nice, comfort and relaxing. Stuff is always ready to help, good villas with everything you need. The way to the property-bad road and no way to walk around by foot

Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfasts are delicious. The toilet isn’t separate completely.

Amazing location for relax. Staff were very friendly, the property was amazing and the pool incredible. Massage was wonderful and the food delicious. I will go definitely again to this wonderful place. It was like a paradise. Everything was perfect.

The location and the view over the river amazing. The Bambu restaurant beautiful and the spa was ideally located so we could hear the water from the river below. The layout of the bedroom space very functional with adequate storage space & the small terrace & outdoor bath tub a plus. The staff very helpful, friendly & welcoming. The access road to the property can be tricky on motorbike since it is the rainy season and the holes on the track were filled with water. It was strange not to have a reception area but the check in & check out still went out smoothly.

Food was delicious...infinity pool is amazing...staff extremely attentive Flowers took time to replace after their use by date.....TV is very limited with only utube, otherwise you pay.

Staff was very helpful, swimming pool very nice and the room was very comfortable, the Google "Alexa" a good plus ;) Location a bit far, which is not a big issue, only now a lot of new facilities being built around which is a bit spoiling the peacefulness of the place The last part of the road could use some renovation ;)
