Aryaswara Villa Ubud

,there are some construction next to our villa.

We were assigned a private villa which was nice n spacious however it was 150 metres away from the property itself. The pool in the main property was nice. The staff were generally very attentive & responded to all messages over WhatsApp quite promptly. Since the villa was not part of the main property plot, it felt disconnected & somewhat unsafe specially during the nights since we were with a young child. The neighbouring villas were of random locals & not hotel guests. Breakfast was average.

Our driver and the other staff were great. Our room had multiple issues, we had no power when we checked in, and the pool was green. We had to move rooms to main villa the next night, on the 3rd day we moved back to our original villa and the pool was half empty with still power issues. We were not happy, and they moved us again to Arya Villa near buy, it was terrific however we booked a 3-bedroom villa with separate bathrooms, and our second and third location only had 2 bedrooms therefore 2 of us had to share even though we paid for separate rooms initially. I believe the property was faulty from the very start and were just another booking to get revenue. Also, breakfast was delivered at the first villa as the villa was located a short drive away from main reception and facilities, it felt very isolating and the quality of the breakfast was average compared to the second day when we had to move the main villa for the second night.

Pool and garden Rooms pretty dirty and old. Bad lightings in the room (with even cold lights) and antiquate electrical system. Geckos in the room near the bed for 3 nights (they play loud sound during all the night even if are not dangerous). I selected the clear option “Pay at the property in cash” when booking on Booking, but two days before my stay they started sending me messages saying they would take the prepayment from my card, and that’s exactly what they did. The room was located under some kind of office or kitchen, and every morning we were woken up by people walking around and making noise from above. The staff’s English is quite poor. Sometimes, when you speak to them, they understand only what they want to understand, and sometimes it’s completely different from what you actually said.

If you don't like eggs, breakfast menu is very limited. The place is absolutely beautiful, but a little too out of the way. Also had to ask for the breakfast menu each evening.

Loved the breakfast and the staff were great The stairs to the room. I fell over and needed staff help with suitcase which they were happy to do. And the location wasn’t the best as it was 30-40min from Ubud central

It is a bit far from ubud center, however they offer a shuttle service, for us it was a bit uncomfortable.

Private and confortable suites

Loved the staff. Quiet spot, nice pool overlooking the rice field.

The room was beautifully decorated and the staff were helpful. We had a lovely tour with Surya, who took care of us along the way. A bit out of the way from the main area but the accommodation and staff made up for it. Free shuttle bus helps getting you to the main areas.

We loved the architecture and the care to detail of the building. The pool was super convenient for the children and as we spent Nyepi (Silent day) there, it was a great addition to be able to have and be around. We enjoyed the rooms and the semi-open spatial arrangement, although it could be quite scary for people who are afraid of bugs, frogs and insects. We had fantastic 5 nights there. We loved our villa with its private pool, although it was huge for a family of 5 and rather expansive for this purpose. We just used two of the rooms and never even went to the one below. It was a bit uncomfortable that we were separated from our children who would wake up in the middle of the night and be afraid from bugs (the end of rainy season) and make their way to us and wake us up but I suppose the purpose of the design is form separate couples rather than a big family with small children. We didn't enjoy the dinner which we had to order since we arrived late and were quite hungry . There's very little vegetarian options too.

A beautiful hotel, with a free shuttle into Ubud. We had breakfast and evening meal options and the food was fabulous. Very comfortable room and bed, with a gorgeous boutique bathroom. We stayed for 6 days and loved every minute. Staff so helpful and friendly.
