Arya Villas Ubud

Authentic Bali accommodation on the doorstep of Ubud township. Small maintenance issues but none that could not be remedied by the super friendly and helpful staff.

The property was off-street away from road noise overlooking the ricepaddies...beautiful location with stunning gardens. Some elements were showing a bit of age and wear-n-tear but nothing major. The staff was super helpful and accommodated all our needs.

Location: very peaceful but not too far to the center of Ubud. Beautiful gardens, pool and view. Very good restaurant, spa and gym. Amazing staff!!!! Needs a bit of renovation but still very beautiful and great

Distance from the centre/Ubud market can be a bit too much especially during busy hours. It can take up 40 mins one way with traffic.

Quiet, peaceful, spacious and cozy. Room was a bit tighter than expected. No writing desk or much space for bags, I had a junior suite. I’m not complaining here just noticing I paid less for lots more space, but this property makes up for it in other ways

Overall we had a great time at Arya Villas. We wanted a central location to visit various parts of the island but didn't want to be in the congestion of Ubud. Arya is located just outside Ubud on a quiet rice paddy, but the hotel offers a shuttle service several times a day to go into town. We loved the peaceful location, and the grounds, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our bungalow was beautiful and comfortable and the outdoor bathroom/shower was awesome. We ate many meals at Arya and all were delicious. The only problems we encountered revolved around the congestion and traffic that is endemic to Bali now. Our shuttle pickup was delayed because of traffic, but they did message us that they were running late. We hired a driver a couple days to see other parts of the island, and the traffic congestion was frustrating but nothing to do with the hotel. It was VERY nice to return to the oasis of the quite resort after being out in the hustle and bustle.

The team here is incredibly kind, attentive, proactive and helpful. Check in and out were smooth and effortless. They even inquired with me before the breakfast window ended to be sure I didn't want anything. The location of my room was right next to a scooter road and a pretty noisy. For the price, I think there are better options in Ubud depending on what you're looking for. While you're near rice fields here you're also near traffic and the setting didn't feel as natural as I was expecting.

The entire hotel is amazing and beautiful

Amazing exp, nicest staff. Even allowed me to dance w a local dancer performing dance during a dinner xD. Nature including many ponds, fish, and full vegetation in the whole complex is unbelievable, as well as the sounds of nature in the evenings. Quiet area, shops are 5min walk, abt 8min walk to gym and new padel court complex

Property has not been maintained well. AC in our room was not too cold we changed to another room. Bathtub had green algea on it. Shower wall and floor not too clean

Beautiful and peaceful location among the padi fields. Lovely walks to take. A 20 min ride to ubud centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant is good. Varied breakfast everyday. And enough different dishes on the menu to choose from. Spa is very good. Worth trying. The wooden huts were dark inside and a little musty. The bed and pillows could use a bit of airing. Otherwise, the room is clean and well maintained. Bathroom is outdoor and very Balinese. It is clean and well maintained. However as the flooring is covered in small loose pebbles with uneven slate slabs, sitting at the toilet bowl and standing by the vanity basin is quite uncomfortable. Would have been good to cement those areas.

Travelling as a family with two kids, had two villas with rice terrace view, nice pool, quiet, proximity to Urbud is okay (20-25 minutes /used grab), very good breakfast (included), dinner could be better for that pricing, booked different activities directly at hotel (everything went perfect), very friendly staff, would definitely recommend to go there for 2-3 days - there are so many options near Urbud, hard to decide

Best thing is the staff and their service, 5 stars! Everyone is super friendly and helpful - thank you for treating us very well! :)) Also the location next to the rice fields is beautiful for relaxing. You wake up with the birds singing and fall asleep with „forest sounds“. Several things are disappointing: The AC unit of the room we got allocated was so noisy that we needed to change rooms, which was an unnecessary hassle. The electricity disappeared twice at night in our cottage - it was obvious when the staff came that this happens regularly. Breakfast is below average, especially considering the price point of the hotel. The pool is warm, not refreshing.

Location stunning, the villas are so confortable, everyone is so good and there to make sure you have an amazing time. Loved it, rice field
