Arma Museum & Resort

The resort was beautifully designed. We had a villa to ourselves, with a pool and it was wonderful. Inside atmosphere was really nice too, especially integrating the indoors and outdoors. The location was great for sightseeing around Ubud area. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff were always pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast options were adequate. The bed had a futon mattress, so not as comfortable as we had hoped. Mosquito netting was nice, but a pain to get around to get in/out of bed. Floors could get slippery. Bathroom 110v plug near mirror did not hold plug...had to use one above fridge with adapter. Traffic was crazy busy, but thankfully didn't affect resort atmosphere.

Nothing

We didn't get the exact same villa I thought I booked (apparently there were 2 different ones but the pictures on booking.com were from another villa). The villa was not very clean and a bit dated (old paint coming off walls and a LOT of dead flies/bugs inside) but I would still consider it good value for the price we paid.

Lusch greenery

The clothes we sent for laundry were damaged, the staff, particularly the management failed to compensate for this. The offered us just a taxi to our next hotel. The value not only economical but sentimental of some of the items spoiled were difficult to compensate but it is basic to separate colors from whites when laundry is done and the management could have been more understanding. We had a very nice time before that incident and it kind of ruined that part of the trip. We felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable just for speaking out and asking for support.

Excellent hotel

My stay at ARMA was one of the best parts of my time in Bali. Everyone on staff was thoughtful, kind and helpful, and the grounds and rooms are absolutely beautiful. Also the room was immaculately clean, the location excellent, and the cultural activities really enjoyable. Particular highlights include the well instructed and delicious cooking class and market visit, the evening dance performance and the art museum. I highly recommend ARMA as a place to stay, and also to take part in cultural activities.

The grounds were incredible! Staff were also super helpful, particularly when we got caught out in the rain and got a little lost - we had a lovely team member come to rescue us, complete with warm towels and umbrellas. So kind! Location was fantastic, very easy to walk out and explore Ubud. We only spent one night here, booked mainly as we had booked into a cultural dance performance that night - but wish we'd had more time to spent on the site, exploring the museum and grounds. We did enjoy the afternoon tea at Warung Kopi, and the iced banana latte was divine! Our deluxe room was good, but we were quite disappointed with the bathroom - the shower had almost non-existent pressure, and barely lukewarm water, which we didn't realise until we went to shower before departure, so due to time limitations just had to make do. For the price we paid, this was a disappointing end to our stay.

Central location yet isolated from the busy road. Loved the restaurants on site, the gardens, the statues. Staff were awesome! Manicure/Pedicure is not worth the price.

Large nice garden, have several sections & areas, very friendly & helpful staff. Good location, opposite of a good supermarket where we can find everything. We got a room in a building near busy street, very noisy, hear noises until dawn - yelling, motor bike, car, plus our lousy neighbors - children crying / playing / jumping. Our TV does not work, fixed but later broken again ?.

Grounds are amazing. Lots of activities if you choose to participate. Nothing in their control, when the sky’s open up with a tropical drenching things can get wet,

love everything, love the nature vibes in the natural surrounding, lots of trees, squirrels running around, and there is padi field next to the hotel, wish i could stay longer. nothing

The location was perfect — it was easy to reach every main spot in Ubud within minutes. The staff were incredibly kind, supportive, and always ready to help. The resort itself felt like a hidden paradise, full of beauty and peaceful corners to discover every day. Breakfast options could be a bit more varied for longer stays.

The complementary breakfast was wonderful. Staff was great, a little slow but very attentive when needing something. Overall great experience and wonderful location. Rooms were a little dark and dated for the price. The grounds of the hotel were breath taking so it makes up for the rooms.

Amazing grounds and facilities. A quiet retreat yet so close to central Ubud.great facilities, pools and gardens including the stunning art gallery. This hotel was one of the highlights of our Bali holiday. No negatives
