The staff here at Tanamas are very hospitable and shows immense respect and gratitude towards the guest. From hotel front staff to housekeeping to security guard, everyone were very sweet and polite. I was heart touched with their positive attitude and down-to-earth temperament. Also the hotel is in good location, and the villa we were staying- with Jungle view was spectacular. You can jump to the pool/lagoon from your living room. We went on hot season, so weather was challenging but they offered best air-conditioning. One thing that i personally would ask them to upgrade is to provide more water bottle or bigger size water bottle, as we were thirsty all the time, and we would need to buy water if we finish 2 allocated wattle per day. But no other downside

Stunning villa with a private pool! Beautiful to look at, amazing breakfast and staff were lovely and helpful. The outside toilet smelled bad and the shower needed a good clean, stairs inside the property are not good for kids but still absolutely loved our stay!

Private pool and staff was nice and was a good price Had a hard time locking Sliding door. Hate the stairs to go up stairs. No bathroom in bedroom. You have to go allll the way down tiny stairs to pee. Lol

The property was away from the hustle and bustle of ubud but it was only a 5-10 minute bike ride to amazing restaurants. The staff were lovely and the food at the hotel restaurant was good There was quite a lot of noise at night from animals and the nearby temple but that is at no fault of Tanamas

Well, it’s located in the middle of nowhere! So basically I had to take a taxi or bike! Luckily I’ve booked the tours with a pick up so didn’t spent much! Main reason why I didn’t like the property is a lack of maintenance and cleanness! Stains were literally everywhere; on a sofa, curtains, blinds! Towels were grayish,old! This place needs a proper management ASAP! But stuff is super friendly, accommodating! If I had to ask for iron, extra bottles of water, hairdryer, they would bring it in no time!

Wonderful experience at Tanama's Villas. Just outside Ubud only 5kms to town centre. The location was great, away from the noise & traffic of Ubud centre. Staff were fantastic, friendly and smiling. The meals & drinks at the restaurant were great. The food was fantastic. The pool was clean & fresh. It is a wonderful place to relax and chill out. The outdoor shower was awesome ?

We feel grateful to have discovered this serene haven, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff thoughtfully refreshed our villa each time we stepped out, making our stay truly rejuvenating.

Beautiful villas in a super quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were all fantastic and the street the hotel is on is quiet enough to walk a pram down, but there are still a couple of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We travelled with our 7 month old and were often the only people swimming in the pool for most of the day. Restaurant was also good and the staff were lovely, even looking after our son whilst we ate! If you have a more mobile baby it might not be the ideal place as the doors open directly onto the pool, but as our baby isn’t crawling yet, it was perfect. So idyllic and I would recommend it highly to anyone! Nothing.

It was nice to be in a more local neighbourhood and the feature pools are certainly very instagrammable. As with everywhere we went in Bali the staff were lovely and friendly, and the Balinese food at the restaurant was great (western dishes less so). Would suit a couple or individual traveller looking for a base to explore the Ubud area. The room was far smaller than it looked online and it was so much more expensive than other places in the area. There was nowhere to sit and relax apart from the pool bed so we just ended up sleeping here but being out all day, which was very different to our other accommodation throughout several weeks in Bali. I would not recommend for families - we travelled with our two young children and opted for the "family room". However the pools including the 'river' in the middle have no fencing or coverage and the slats in the balcony on the second level were wide enough for my two year old to slip between so we had to keep it locked at all times. The internal staircase was also rickety and had similarly wide gaps so she fell through a few times (luckily from down low!) and the door to the pool didn't lock. Just gave us a lot of anxiety.

The place was really quiet and peaceful. The food was great and the personnel were very kind and helpful. I didn't enjoy the downstairs bathroom since the stairs were very steep, and the pillows were quite stiff.
