MUSEUM HOTEL - Relais & Châteaux

The hotel itself is very beautiful. Just like described. Our suite was amazing, very large with fabulous amenities. The outside area, with pool and bar spectacular. Pool heated to spa temperature, views lovely. Staff went out of their way to be friendly. Hotel a short walk fromt he castle, great spot to see the castle and explore. Ate at restaurant, dinner was very nice but not amazing. Breakfast on the other hand was probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel ever. Not one picture, or one review tells you that the main road runs at the base of the rock area hotel is situated on. Our room was on the side of the road, and it was like a highway running at the side, since the noise travelled up. Very tired on arrival, and only spent a short period of time in room before I went to explore. If I'd noticed earlier would have asked to be moved. If you are a deep sleeper not a problem. A light sleeper like me - I was awake half the night.

Pros: Great location in Uchisar, walking distance from the castle and 10-min drive from Goreme. Stunning property, arguably the most beautiful in the whole region of Kapadokya! Being an animal lover, the fact that the property has 3 house dogs was a great plus. Staff members were courteous and attentive. The bedroom was a dream--more than a room, it was like an apartment, including 2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, an indoor pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and a terrace. The food was outstanding: breakfast was bountiful and dinner was exceptional at Lil'a. Cons: Their use of polyblend linens, which make it uncomfortable come bedtime due to its heat and static. Would definitely recommend that linens are 100% cotton to make the experience unblemished. Also, the working/office nook in the bedroom was quite dusty (from rock debris) and we found a glass shard on the floor by the stairs to the bedroom on the second day.

A place to remember for the rest of my life. Spectacular place, warm and professional crew who takes perfection to the next level. I wouldn't change a single thing of the place.

The room is so uniquely designed with stunning views and it was spotlessly clean. We request a few specific rooms that we like and they were attentive to that detail on our request to give us the room which is really considerate of them. Breakfast was superb with plenty options to choose from. The staffs were professional and very effective in their services provided. Whenever we were in common areas in hotel, there were at least 1 staff approaching us to check if we need anything, tea, coffee, drinks, etc. The best part was balloon views from hotel swimming pool which were amazing and one of the best in Cappadocia.

EVERYTHING! The staff were so friendly and helpful - you could not go long without someone saying hello or checking if you needed/wanted anything. You could change your pillows (pillow menu available). Turn down service everyday. Would 100% stay again. Nothing!

Perfection!

All staff especially the receptionist and restaurant staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and accomodating. We booked airport transfers both ways and taxis to Goreme, ski resorts, fairy chimneys etc, all the drivers are very profesionals with fair prices, most don’t speak English but thw rexeptionist always help us translating throught the phone. They gave us suites with private terrace and the view is amazing. Our bathroom is massive with a a wonderful view from bathtub. My most favorite part of the room is the heated floor!! It makes so much difference in winter. The breakfast is not to be missed. There is a room for improvement in restaurant menu, it can be more varieted.

There are a lot of pigeons in the hotel - I know that this is a pigeon-friendly place/animal sanctuary; however, at times, you feel slightly invaded (keep being attacked while ordering food at the pool).

The staff was incredible - so kind and generous. The grounds are beautiful, as are the rooms. The location was great to walk to Uchisar Castle. Guest services was top notch through and through. They arranged horseback riding and massage. Just super helpful. I got a terrible migraine the day I checked out and was due to the airport at a very odd hour. I was supposed to have dinner at their beautiful restaurant before heading to the airport, but was so unwell I could barely stand let alone eat. They helped arrange a quiet space for me to rest and brought me water and ice bags. They were my heroes. Nothing

The structure of the hotel is very unique. The room is very clean. The view from the hotel is also amazing. There’s not much to do in the hotel. Limited facilities. The spa is very expensive. The breakfast is not buffet.
