Great hotel … location, staff and rooms!

We have stayed here on 3 separate occasions and we love it so much we haven’t tried anywhere else in Tuscaloosa. The location to the university can’t be beat, the pool is clean, and staff is always friendly. We will be back.

Good breakfast- worth the price. They were doing landscaping while we were there, but it was still well maintained. Comfortable bed, quiet even though cheerleaders were on the same hall.

Hotel is extremely convenient if you are visiting the university of Alabama but it is definitely outdated. Overall it’s OK and I will return due to convenience.

If a visitor tells you they do not ride elevators, do not put them on the top floor AND farthest from the stairs. :(

The stay was good but the shower had a leak, bed and closet door were broken. It was nothing major but things couldn't be fixed until our stay was over and nobody could shower the last night of our stay.

Arrived late at night. Ralph (?) at the front desk was very welcoming. The beds were fantastic and the hotel was quiet.

The staff is extremely nice!! The room cleanliness was flawless!! Only thing I'd say that could improve are things that'll change with upcoming renovations...paint touch ups, roll-away bed was older than expected. Room was cleaned after first night, which is rare in this day and age. I'd stay again for sure.

Great place with great staff. Stayed on the weekend of Alabama's Super Regional Series. We loved the staff, amenities, and the closeness of the baseball stadium.

The shower head in my first room wasn’t cleaned and maintained properly to ensure proper flow and water pressure, and my request for a cleaning or replacement wasn’t handled well, either. The second room I was in when I needed to extend my stay for a day had a decent shower head with proper flow, so I know the first one and the request for service simply weren’t handled correctly. The staff also insisted that I come to the desk to pick up some needed additional towels, rather than bring them up to my room. The restaurant in the hotel serves decent enough food for dinner that is convenient. I’m overall disappointed that Hotel Capstone isn’t taken more seriously, since the location of it is so great for people coming to town for sports events.

Excellent place to stay. Right on campus, centrally located, spotless comfortable…easy parking, nice breakfast venue and good complimentary coffee. I wish pool area opened earlier as it would have been a nice spot to drink coffee in the morning. Very nice pool area.
