Very good location, close to 2 main train stations as well as plenty of shops and restaurants. There were some wifi issues throughout our stay, not sure if this is a common problem or if we were just unlucky. There was also a small bug problem, we found multiple little moths and roach/beetle type things, harmless but not what you what to find.

Location was good, close to city center. The beds were small but soft and comfortable staff to know English. There is a big language barrier, but then again that is general in Japan.

Overall great location! Super close to the train lines. Good deal for the price and overall had a very nice stay.

It's near the train station and within walking distance to Shinjuku. I had to go check in and collect the key at another hotel. I'm traveling with a child, and it's very difficult to manage both the luggage and my child at the same time. Although I paid for a late check-out, a staff member still came knocking on the door asking us to check out.

Description is not accurate or the pictures do not match with the property. Looks like you can’t even check in at the property. You have to go to another hotel to check in. They have no one to help you and it doesn’t look like a safe area.

The price is good and it’s clean ,great for younger traveler’s on a budget 10,000 yen deposit it was our last day and left me with lots of cash to use in the morning which was annoying, more of a studio apartment then a hotel , it’s down a run down messy alley , very small apartment but clean and the location is a bit out the way but still a short walk

Great room once we got into it, service was very standard. How filthy the outside area around the hotel and the service when we arrived.

  • Engine customer Jan 2025

The location was good The ground floor rooms were mouldy and smelly. We could hear everything from the top floor. The is no reception and the rooms faced directly the street, which was unexpected and a worry. The rooms were smaller than usual (way smaller than the other hotels we stayed in) with an awkward layout and the building is very old. Not recommended

Great location for a great price

Property was had a nice location, next to several convinience store and near the train station. Room was clean and they even offer free bedsheet changes if you stay for more than 5 days. Alot of amenities. It was difficult to move around, the shower had no space to store your towels and clothes, there is no door/curtain between the beedroom and shower so changing outside the shower is not an option. There is also only one key but they do allow you to leave it at the front desk incase you are with someone, although the desk is on the other side of the street from where you will be staying. A cup for drinking and a place to hang your laundry would be nice.

Location was great, central to Okubo and Shinjuku. Just out of the way enough to be quiet on a night. A little small, but it’s to be expected in such a central location in Tokyo for the price we paid.

There isn’t much we liked to be honest, other than it having a washing machine at the least. The alleyway you walk up to get to the rooms felt like we were in the slumps. It was dirty, there was rubbish everywhere and a mattress thrown behind a fence on an overgrown grassed area. The surroundings are very worn down. The hotel itself is aged, the check-in around the corner certainly does not present like a hotel and is also very worn down. The mattress was absolutely horrendous to sleep on and felt like a sponge put on top of a bed base.

Very very close to the train station. Thin walls so you could hear the elephants (people) thumping around in the room above you and reception on the next street over made checking in more difficult after a big day of traveling

Got a feel of a traditional Japanese city Apartment vibe from hotel. Rooms were cleaned effectively every time we requested it cleaned. Walked in once on cleaner cleaning and he was actually cleaning everything in detail, which usually is skipped by hotels The reception was not connected with the hotel
