The staff was very nice. It should not be rates as 5* hotel. The price is too high for the quality of the hotel. The place is old, breakfast were horrible.

loved the gorgeous and clean room with a great view of the forest, free tea/coffee and snacks in the afternoon, good breakfast with a lot of variety, nice pool, free yoga classes and free shuttle to the center (6 times a day), exceptionally wonderful staff i did not love the shower situation, you had to shower in the bathtub and it was spraying water everywhere - it was perfectly clean though

First the good part. It's a beautiful place in a lovely lush valley. The villa we stayed in was well maintained and clean. The areas on the grounds are immaculate. We picked this place because it was close to the Campuhan Ridge Walk something we missed our last time in Ubud. That was the only thing this place is easy to reach. At least 45 minutes to Ubud using their shuttle. It's not the resort's fault, a statement of fact. The staff was generally very good though some interactions seemed contrived. As above it seems as they smile on approach, during the encounter and it's gone before they leave.

Not too many dining options around and takes ~20 mins to get into Ubud city by car (with minimal traffic). Evening meals were limited to the resort options.

Far from Ubud, road is narrow and bad, you can't order Grab, the room si small, breakfast service slow and overall hotel looks old and needs immediate refurbishment. I paid 4 nights but after 2 nights I left. No-one asked my why...probably they know

We took one room and one villa The place itself is beautiful The staff are nice and helpful The massage was amazing but it’s open area so too much insect and geckos I don’t see this as 5 star hotel Too much insect and gecko sound are very annoying in the rooms The breakfast is like a 2 star hotel not 5, they put one kind of cheese and it’s fake cheese, the breakfast area is open and too much insect there The toilet has bad smell and even the villa has mold smell The internet is barley working but they brought us a booster The location is not too fare from the centre but the road is very bumpy

More expensive than other places we stayed in Bali, and ultimately, the extra expense didn't make this stand out from the others.

The hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by a jungle. The staff is doing everything for you to feel like home. It’s easily the best place for a great relax. The only small thing is that breakfast options are mostly Indian based, not Indonesian.

My husband and I went for our honeymoon. We stayed in a villa, and it was gorgeous. It was the perfect environment to relax and unwind, The whole property has great jungle views. The food was good and affordable. We both got multiple massages at the spa and they were fabulous. The first room we checked in to had ants, slugs and a gecko. I know it's the jungle but it felt like a little too much life in there. The hotel kindly moved us to another room with significantly less activity.

I loved everything! The place is amazing, you feel inside the jungle but with some luxury. The staff is so welcoming, they’re always asking you if everything is good. The hotel has a peaceful vibe. You can enjoy all the spaces. The breakfast and tea afternoon were delicious! The spa treatment was a plus. And the pool is amazing. It was the best hotel I ever stayed in my life so far. They really take care of your entire experience. The only thing is that wifi didn’t work that good inside my room. But it wasn’t a problem at all, the network was good in the hotel, and the purpose of the trip was to rest no to stay connected in my phone, so even that was helpful.
