Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy The Fitz Apartments Downtown St Paul

The room was very clean and spacious! Only issue we had was the heat settings in the master.. room was very warm! Great hotel though, we had a great stay.

Wonderful setup and great location for walking around downtown. Great balcony and love the 1 full bathroom situation

Overall the rooms were clean, well stocked, new appliances. Great location if you’re walking to the Grand Casino arena. There’s paid parking lots across the street. But the sheets were odd, like plastic-ey and crunchy? and made noise whenever you moved- not comfortable. The walls are thin, you can hear the people in the next room talking/doing other things.

- Didn't realize there was no onsite parking. Sure, I could've paid more attention to the listing, but couldn't they work out a deal with one of the structures around? - Vinyl floors appeared clean, but a quick scrub with a paper towel brought up a lot of dust/dirt. The whole building seemed old, and by the second morning my allergies were going off. - Walls seemed very thin. Had noisy neighbors. - Both our room and the hallway had a weird, musty smell. Pretty strong too. - No air conditioning, only heat. Our room was very warm, even with the outer sliding door left open for hours. I didn't interact with the staff beyond "good mornings", but they seemed friendly enough.

The set up was fine, there was no AC, apparently after a certain time of year can only use the heater option but it was not that cool outside that you needed a heater still needed AC. That was the problem for me.

We were able to aquire everything we needed for our stay through the chat feature. Very pleasant stay.

The room was very nice. Unfortunately, we were able to hear quite a bit of noise through the wall of the next room. Additionally, the room was quite warm and during fall/winter months cooling from the HVAC system is not available.
