Great location and very good service. Rooms are generally quiet, unless you have one of the connecting rooms. The curtains are not blackout, so in the morning, the light bleed would definitely wake you up. Suggestion for the hotel: replace all curtains in all rooms with proper ones

The staff were amazing. Room was super clean. I had a suite. Restaurant good quality food. Felt really safe to say in. Great size pool. Definately go back . Also fridge and microwave in suite. Fantastic outside shower. I would have liked wine with my meals. No wine available. But you can go out and buy a bottle and take it to your room.

The hotel itself is just lovely, the pool is so inviting. The rooms are kept nice and clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Gaduh and Ani! The bathroom being open to outside. Very quirky and cool but left us on a platter for mosquitoes at night.

The staff were really friendly, taking an interest in your stay and helping with exploring Bali. Location is good, a cut through alley got you to the beach in 10 mins and also the other direction got you to Seminyak hustle and bustle about the same time. The afternoon and evening food was good if you needed to stay local for a night. Rooms were always spotlessly cleaned and the outdoor shower gave you a unique Bali feel. Quiet. Even when they said it was busy the hotel felt calm and relaxed. If I was to be picky, the breakfast was adequate, also the poor gym, one tread, one bike, a bizarre multi gym and some weights. If you have to share it gets a bit tight.

Gym only available from 8:00 to 20.00. Considering some guests spend most of the day outside, it'd be great a longer availability of the gym.

Quite I asked the housekeeper to change my bed sheets, and they said yes, but they never do it. Also, there are bugs in the bathroom and around the TV area.

We loved our stay at the Solterra. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our highlights were the breakfast each day (the porridge and the egg bar were great!) and the pool with the swim up bar. We were on our honeymoon so we decided to take advantage of the spa. We had the couples massage honeymoon package which was amazing value for money. So relaxing. Our room was lovely. Brenda also showed us a private villa with its own pool - that will be us next time! There is a secret path to the beach meaning it's much more accessible than what google maps says. The swim up bar wasn't always operating. The kind staff would be more than happy to make us a drink if we got out of the pool and asked though.

Food isn't the best, I ate breakfast at Urban Bites every morning.

Very spacious room and bathroom, high ceilings, with a vanity and plenty of areas to keep your belongings. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities they provide in the room: dental kit, shaving, shower cap, cotton swabs, comb. They provide basic shampoo and shower gel type of stuff too, though I had brought my own. Staff is very welcoming and kind. Didn't use the facilities much but the pool and central courtyard look beautiful and perfect for a day of lounging. Very value for money during wet season in Bali :) Room was a bit dark inside, but this won't matter for most people.

Wonderful staff, super attentive, caring and friendly. Rooms are nice and comfy, not shiny new, but still in accurate shape. Very nice pool, pool bar still closed though, due to still missing alcohol license (predecessor hotel was closed for one year, current one opened under new name, license therefore still pending). Breakfast has "room for improvement". A little more variety and higher quality food components would be desirable, esp. considering the fact that this is now a four star place. Namely: - more vegetarian & vegan choices - more fish and seafood instead of the always sane recurring meat dishes - walnuts and high quality grenola - more and larger variety of fresh fruit and veggies - choices of non-dairy milk - good quality fresh curd cheese and natural yogurt - high quality whole grain bread and better quality croissants - freshly pressed juices instead of highly processed ready-made ones - etc.
