Big room I was in one of the rooms in the second floor, wifi was not working inside the room Because it is a comercial area, there are no one on the street during the night, if you come back to the hotel late night you can feel unsafe (but I don't know if it is real or if it's just a feeling)

The price! If you’re looking for a cheap, private place to stay in San Cris, this place is only 120 pesos. It is clean, decently comfortable and located a very short walk from everything to see in town. I think the majority of the bad reviews here come from foreigners expecting 5 star hotel quality for 120 pesos a night. This is by far the cheapest hotel I’ve stayed at in Mexico, and in line with most that are double the price. People also discuss the location being dangerous in their reviews. Again, privileged Europeans who’ve never been out of a tourist zone. This hotel is located just 3 minutes off of the cities’ main walking street and 2 huge markets. It certainly isn’t a pretty hotel or neighborhood, but anybody calling it dangerous is just a racist foreigner. Note: I was assigned room 26, a corner room at the end of the hotel. The first floor seemed very loud and chaotic, a room there would probably warrant a worse review The beds aren’t the most comfortable, but it’s 120 pesos a night.
