The staff was great and Katerina stood with her big warm smile. The lady runningthe dining room was sweet and very responsive. Hulio the manager also took care of us. And finally the guy who looked after the garden and rooms was very helpful. The room was beautiful (we were upgrade to a king). The bed very comfortable. The art on the walls was great. Location perfect. We recommend this special inn.

Rooms and garden and fish pond were beautiful. Wifi was great. Bedside lighting was poor. Sink in bathroom only had hot water.

Beautifully decorated room, garden was a marvel to walk through, staff super kind and helpful. The food was also very good. Location was great. Short walk to city center. Parking on the street was possible but away from the hotel entrance. For the luggage, it was a bit of a nuisance, as you cannot stop on the hotel street. Our sink was leaking so the bathroom floor would get super wet, but the cleaning staff was superb.

I love breakfast and many options to choose from. Friendly people. Location not close enough for me. I had to walk more than expected.

Beautiful gardens, lovely grounds, fireplace at night. What more could you want?

The grounds of the hotel were beautiful with all kinds of flowers and large trees. The sauna and massage were wonderful too. The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was cold upon our arrival. The heater took a long time to work and warm the room. The couch in the room was very uncomfortable and appeared well worn.

The place is adorable. Beautiful decorations of Mexican folk art. Words do not do it justice. Great garden, staff is wonderful. Breakfast was very good too. Exceptional stay. Two minor items. First, location is at the edge of the area we walked most so was always a half mile walk. Not terrible but we'd go out a few times per day. Second, San Cris is a bit cool for us (Florida is home) so always felt a bit cold. Nothing on San Cris is heated - Guayaba is no exception.

Beautiful and Serene facility. Gated Facility with myriad of Flourishing Garden throughout the grounds with Fish pond. Each unit is separate from the rest. Setting is a bungalow style living each with separate path and private entrances. Very friendly and helpful Staff. Breakfast (included) is excellent and ample choices! 2 small water bottle provided each day. Cleaning daily included. Fireplace in the room. The Master room had two wood fireplaces. extra sink by Coffee Machine. Truly appreciate the coffee maker and replenished daily (2 pods). No microwave or kitchenette; only small fridge with goodies for purchase (inexpensive). No AC or heating but Fireplace was sufficient heating and not in room during daytime (electric in this room). No restaurant with bar (serves breakfast only and has no Bar). However, Wines available for purchase in each room(price less expensive than a cocktail).

What a gem of a hotel. Guayaba Inn was THE most perfect slice of heaven. We spent 4 nights there and could have stayed forever. Every single staff member was so kind and friendly. The gardens were just gorgeous. We loved watching the humming birds in the morning visit the beautiful flowers. The rooms were so cozy, especially at night with the fires lit. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and they have a great variety on the menu of both food and drinks. We loved coming back to the room after a day of exploring and winding down by the fireplace with a glass of wine. We found some great restaurants all very close to the hotel and there’s a little corner store right down the street for any incidentals you may need! We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to San Cristobal!! We had one room in the newer section and one room in the older section. Differences were a gas fireplace vs wood burning (we preferred the gas one) and more lighting in the room in the newer section. But both rooms were cozy, clean and comfortable! Nothing. Literal perfection.

The staff is incredibly welcoming and the breakfast is delicious. It was nice that there was a big window (8-noon) for breakfast so we never felt rushed. The beds were so comfortable and it felt luxurious for what we paid. It can get very cold at night and the heating options are a little complicated but I think that’s to be expected in this area. In the shower, hot water only lasts a couple minutes and you have to have patience or be willing to brave the cold to get clean! But I think that’s also typical for the area and it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay.

The hotel is beautiful
-
I liked that it was quite in the evenings and enjoyed their garden and delicious breakfast It’s a little far from the city plaza but do and by the 3rd day did not need to take a taxi
-
Its a very nice, silent house in a beatiful neighborhood (el cerrillo) near everything but far away from the noise of casco It is something minor but it would be great that the kitchen had an electric kettle for after breakfast hours. Rooms have expresso machines but you cannot boil water. And in the kitchen, staff only uses microwave after breakfast hours because it has an industrial kitchen.

Very good

Hard to regulate water temperature, but it seems a common problem in San Cristobal everywhere. Location is a bit far from everything and I wouldn’t come back walking at night.

Quite, staff, room, landscaping and breakfast.

Wonderful oasis in a lovely town. Staff couldn't do more for us. Rooms spacious and great breakfast. Excellent value for money Nothing

Breakfasts were great. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The staff was polite and helpful. the location was far away from restaurants and most attractions.
-
It is very calm and peaceful, it felt like a spa break. Breakfast was generous with lots to choose from. Staff helped us organise a driver for the day for a good price, who was amazing and really made our trip special. We’d recommend using his services! Nothing!

Set in a beautiful tranquil garden, tastefully furnished, comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. About a 15 min walk from the centre Unusually hot weather made the room rather warm but the manager was helpful in moving us down to a ground floor room
