Minimal amenities but good price

Wasn’t notified of the room I booked (king bed) not being available, property manager moved me down to two twin beds for the same sale offered online (which was great) I just would’ve have like to be notified of the change

Overall quiet for the most part. Located on the north side near Six Flags. Freshly remodeled. Parking is limited. Towels are small and infrequent.

Wonderful, off the beaten path! It's hard to see the entrance at night.

The price was very attractive Our neighbors were extremely loud playing loud music well after midnight I had to ask the front desk three times to come up and ask them to be quiet as they did not understand the word of English

I was there for work, and the staff was very accommodating.

I arrived early and the front desk clerk let me go ahead and check in. She was the only pleasant thing about this place. Surprisingly it was quite. The grounds are very run down. Air-conditioning was loud and so dirty! The dust collected on it had been there for a very long time. The bed was lumpy. The ice machine was out of order. Finally, there seemed to be people living there. Like all there crap was outside ( rent a storage space if you gotta live there!) Do not be fooled by the word "Inn" in their name. By no means is this an Inn , Suite or extended stay. I was so uncomfortable I left a day early .

No breakfast served The humidity in the room was so high that the floors were wet and our clothing was damp. The tub was extremely slick. The toilet seat was partially broken. Asked to have it fixed, and they came right away, but the seat remained broken.

Very nice all around. Would like a free breakfast though since traveling out of town for work.

Our stay at Homes County Hill Suites was good! It was located in a beautiful area with everything close by due to the frontage/expressway. The motel itself was good for a temporary stay, it looks like it needs some detailing done (redo paint job on stairs, repair the out of order washer and dryer, our bathtub was severely peeled/chipped). The room smelled clean like fabuloso, I appreciated the desk that was very much used, I loved that there was a pool, and the fridge was elite, and there was a microwave! The location was good overall, you could hear the cars passing by on the frontage but nothing too bothersome. Overall good place for a VERY good price!

I didn’t even enter the room. There were people loitering around. It was really sketchy.

The HillView Inn did not meet my expectations. I had read previous reviews and knew it was an economic stay but with the front desk giving me a key to an occupied room and then disappearing for 30 minutes. Had multiple guests waiting in lobby. Water shutting off mid shower on my wife was another hiccup. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be staying here again

It was okay. It was for a small trip , so it was convenient to stay . The staff was friendly and helped when I had issue with a TV they moved me to a room where the TV work so I appreciate that . So if you are looking for a good stay look at Hillview Inn

The first room’s TILE floor was wet with condensation when I walked. I turned on the loud air conditioner and began unpacking. Then I noticed a large puddle of water and more water coming out of the wall from the air conditioning unit. I called the front desk and asked for someone to look at it. The attendant came out and looked at it and gave me a key to another room. I don’t think this was the first time this happened. I walked up the stairs to the second room. The stairs looked like they were going to collapse at anytime due to rust. I entered the second room and was hit in the face by the smell of dead rats. I immediately went down stairs and turned my keys in. HillView Inn is not a safe place to stay. I asked for a refund and they refused. Not that I am surprised by the way run their Inn. Don’t stay there if you have the choice.

Awesome place

I canceled within 10 minutes of booking. I asked & expected a hotel not a filthy motel. I did park & walk in. Dear God. I would not have a dog stay here. I stayed at the lovely, clean Holiday Inn down the street. Not good.

The bed itself was actually comfortable, but I still used my own towels to lay on top due to concerns about cleanliness. I didn’t get a chance to take photos because I was in a hurry, but I wish I had—just so others could see the condition of the place. Also, be warned: the 10/10 reviews are highly questionable. Most are just two-word comments full of misspellings, likely left by the property owner or staff to boost ratings. Don’t be fooled by them. With some real cleaning and upkeep, this place could be great. But as it stands, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room wasn't ready at check in but they made it ready while i waited. It was a busy weekend with hotels booking for the final four so I wasn't too upset about it. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The price was great and i would say the place was better than other places in similar price ranges.

The sleeping area was acceptable but the sink area was stained and the bathroom door needs repair.

The property was not maintained very well, and services were minimal at best. The staff were friendly enough, but not forth coming about tv or other services.

This property’s location was misleading to the quality. It was disgusting and the rooms were in terrible shape. I’m pretty sure we got bit by bugs in the room. It had an overpowering smell of bleach yet was so dirty inside. The noise level was unreal. The parking was a mess. The room couldn’t hold a consistent temperature. All in all I felt I wasted every cent there. Didn’t even sleep more than an hour. 0/10. Never again.

Nicest family that runs that place. Extremely Clean and they go out of there way to accommodate you

The hot water in the shower is not working properly

It’s a bare minimum hotel. One hand towel and one washcloth for two people. King size bed with small square pillows. You can’t lay on them without your head falling off the pillow and I am a small person. Never seen these kind of sleeping pillows. Weird! I had to ask for regular size pillows.

It was very affordable

Room was comfortable and guest check in was wonderful/pleasant. Property is very well lit throughout the night.

Lo único malo es que permitan perros grandes y dejen que los dueños. Los dejen en el cuarto me. Tocó la mala experiencia que a las 8:00 de la mañana, el perro a un lado de mí estuvo aullando y ladrando por más de 1 hora. Ojalá y a las personas que llevan perros. Los pongan en 1 lugar donde no molesten. A los que estamos cansados de trabajar.

It was quiet. I did not like the $20 deposit. That made no sense to me. What is $20 deposit going to cover for damages? When we got in the room it smelled like bug spray. The hardwood floors needed to be mopped. My feet got very dirty walking around the room.

Grate place

I was traveling many miles that day. I booked the room in advance. It was very late when I arrived. The rude person at the front desk told me they had forfeited my room as a no-show just 15 mins prior to my arrival! Even though I was right there and wouldn’t refund my money. They charged my credit card and wouldn’t let me stay in the room. I had to sleep in my car after spending all day in it traveling. I called the next day to speak to their manager. He said there were no charges only to find out with my credit card bill they had charged me. I disputed the charges with my credit card company Don’t stay here don’t book here. They are ripoffs and they’re very rude.

The staff at the front desk were very rude. There's trash all around the property trash that has been there since the first time I stayed there 9 months ago the pool is okay except it's short about a foot of water the dumpster is right next to the pool and the TVs never work oh and also there's rust coming through the faucets the shower faucet and the sink

I booked a smoking room, even paid more than a non smoking, only to find out this is a total non smoking place.

Good location. Sheets in the room were stained and woke up with bug bites every day.

Comfy and quiet.

Great comfortable place, affordable, and they even have snacks, and drinks in the office. Pool is very nice as well, and you're right next to the rim shopping center, and la cantera mall. Megan at the front office was very polite and friendly.

Stayed at this hotel recently. It was comfortable and affordable, but the place felt a bit shabby and could use some updates.

The hotel is next to the interstate and the room was very noisy. The room had some sort of fruit flies mainly in bathroom area. It had a faint smell of rotten garbage, It was so seedy all we could stand was one sleepless night. We had 2 days reserved but checked out after one night, even though we didn’t get a refund

Sucked the mattress sunk in when u laid down and I have not received my deposit yet. I have charges for 93 and 113. And when I reserved the it said total $189

Maybe if they would have had a real box spring under the mattress it might have been better The towels were a joke they were small and thin The remote to the tv was not working

It's a very rundown place. It's very noisy, doesn't even have a hair dryer, no coffeemaker,stained towels. Down to the bare minimum. I will never be staying there again.

The floors are always wet when we stay and there are little worms on the floor in the restroom sometimes. It’s what you pay for but i think it’s better than the other hotels around the same price.

Awful place to stay, neighbors were up all time of day banging and hollering, room smelt awful of bleach cleaner, and beds were not comfortable. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned what so ever, and the tv didn’t work. 2/10

The hotel staff were rude and knocked on door very loudly at check out. They also had not cleaned the toilet properly.

As a person that relays on a wheelchair for mobility there's no wheelchair access to the lobby during the night there's only steps no ramp, that day I requested an accessible room for me and my children 2 bed room (I arranged reservations ahead of time)there were none, and after arguing with the person in charge at that time we ended up getting 2 separate rooms after waiting for over an hour and a half.

The front desk employee was not only beautiful, but very helpful & nice

Don’t bother trying to save money by staying here. Walls are paper thin and working girls bring their clients there…..loudly! Bugs in the bathroom! Never again.

For the price, this was a really nice inn. Decent size room, king size bed, a microwave, and a mini fridge. It was surprisingly very clean and the best thing, for me at least, no bugs.

When we got to our room it clearly hadn’t been cleaned, didn’t have a trash can, the sheets and comforter had several holes in them. When we reached out to the front desk about it they said there was nothing they could do. We also had to bring our dirty linen to the front desk at check out. No accessibility for non-able bodies. Don’t stay here

Small roaches were everywhere in the restroom, sink area and some in the sleeping area. Gross!!! We had to sleep with all the lights on so we can see what was on the floor and because they seem to hide with the light on. Our door also did not close properly and the lock would latch. This Inn was packed so they seem to be making money to help keep up the the place. I’m sure the managers and owner don’t like sleeping where there’s roaches crawling everywhere.

The hotel is good for the price is not 5 five start hotel, but the room that they give me have a fridge microwave included which in my case was a plus. I will recommend this hotel special if you are in a business trip.

It was a nice stay, had no issues, everything was close by, stores, restaurants and 6 flags. If youre high maintenance this hotel is not for you! But if you dont mind, then the stay will be decent! $20 deposit is required though something they dont tell you til you get there!

Good location... horrible plàce to stay

Well first I book online for one bed room that has a sofa and when I check in n went in the room I had only the king bed with no sofa and the bed was broken when I called to see if I can switch rooms to a 2 bed room they say they didn't had none. So it was 3 of us and I had to sleep on the floor . So it was the worst experience I ever had

Here is a few personal things I liked...Loved that it didn't have carpet in the floor that is a plus for someone that travels with pets the room feels fresh without carpet. It might be weird to some but the pressure the toilet has is awesome, the restroom itself is just a bit small but overall the room is very spacious.

The building sidewalks and driveway are old cracked and dangerous to walk on. The carpets were old, dirty and stained. we moved after two days because of the noise from what is obviously people living in there full-time.

The price is right!

Nice area but the condition of the hotel was very dirty. Needs some updating. For example the AC unit has no cover, toilet just kept running, strong odor of bleach and the walls are very thin. Can hear everything from next door. Very noisy from upstairs and are door was not closing properly.

There was no one who came to take the trash or bring new towels. The light on one side of the bed didn’t have a bulb, the light on the other side of the bed flickered so I tried to screw it in more and the top of the bulb was not attached. There were only two hangers and when I inquired about more they didn’t have anymore. When I asked for an iron they didn’t have an iron/board. There was a microwave and a fridge but only one could be plugged kn at any time and the microwave looked like it had a layer of smoke damage to the inside. The desk drawer was missing, the floor and towels both had a waxy film and felt awful. The faucet to the bathtub pulled out from the wall allowing water to run inside the wall. Hole in the wall behind the smoke detector.

Did not have right power point but it was okay to stay for one night

I have no idea where to start. These guys that run this place are very unprofessional. I do appreciate how I was able to check in until 3:00am as my flight came in around midnight, but that truly was the only thing I appreciated about this hotel. I was then told that my room wasn’t going to have hot water until the next morning… that was a lie, I didn’t have hot water in my shower at all. Had to take a cold shower. I was given 1 key card and when I opened the door I was just happy to finally be there so what I was seeing didn’t bother me until I really settled in. The room was just run down and dirty. The floor was disgusting!!! They didn’t sweep nor mop the floor and everything stuck to my socks, I was disgusted. I refused to walk barefoot in there, they didn’t even sweep… The bathroom was pretty gross as well, especially behind the toilet. There were bugs on the towels they gave. The pillow cases were dirty. Many of the outlets were broken, nor did I see a smoke detector. There was an outlet behind the bed and when I tried to plug it in, that’s when I saw everything. The mattress was absolutely disgusting!!!!! Just awful. My tv remote stopped working the 1st night. I have pictures I wish I could post but I don’t have an option to. Do not stay here.

This place was okay but I had to wait 20-25 minutes in line to check in. They wouldn’t give us 4 towels for us to shower with, we had to trade out 2 wet for 2 dry. The box springs were dirty on both beds, the walls were dirty. There was a bug in the tub and no breakfast. Just booked because it was cheap.

Lots of room

I had a leak in our restroom and when I called about it I was told maintenance was going in the morning but the next day we still had the problem. On our last day they offered a different room but we where going to check out that morning.

I asked front desk if there was an iron in the room and he said no so I went and bought one. When I went to my room there was an iron and irorning board mounted on the wall. The outets in the sink area did not work. The individual complimentary shampoo and conditioner were empty and filled up with water! There was only 2 old used up towels and no wash clothes or hand towels at all! Very disappointed

It was very dilapidated. The handle on the sink fill off, I then walked it to the front office and said I better not get charged on my deposit th main screw is missing.

Terrible place to stay

It was actually nicer on the inside then what I expected I was very comfortable and it was very clean inside!
