Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Six Flags at The Rim

Great location! Friendly and helpful staff. Very tidy and clean rooms. Great stay!

I’d actually give them 4.7 stars, but that wasn’t an option. The most important thing, that I greatly appreciate, is the staff. I needed assistance 3 times, from 2 different people, and they were both SO nice, and helpful, and seemed to genuinely care about my stay. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because the shampoo and conditioner in the shower had been emptied and filled with water, and I didn’t notice until it was too late and I was already in the shower. The toilet was also slow to flush and I had to hold it down for a while. However, as soon as I brought it to their attention, they relayed the information to the appropriate person to get it taken care of.

The person who checked us in. Ogo was her name. She was not friendly and had no customer service skills at all. The room temperature in the room fluctuated and the temp gauge did not seem to be working well.

The front staff is horrible. If you need help with anything, you are met with an attitude. The young man at the front desk got into a verbal altercation with me, accused me of breaking into a room, and called the cops on me. Then he said he would charge me the $100 incidental just because of our argument. I never even stayed in the room. I cannot stress enough: DON’T STAY HERE

First of all, as soon as we entered the room we noticed it wasn't the same room type we paid for. We immediately notified the staff member but she was no help and gave us the run around that we should not book with expedia and it was out of her control. She told us to contact expedia. After contacting expedia her explanation changed. The hotel was experiencing some renovations and the room type were over booked. I contact the general manager and never received a reply.

Great stay- walkable to Six Flags Fiesta via the Leon Creek trail or main road. Very clean and service was great. Would recommend for anyone visiting Six Flags or nearby Rim properties.

Hotel is located within a new shopping area that has plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The massive amount of road construction caused confusion when arriving and departing.

Hotel is perfectly located and kept spotless. Very nice place. My only beef is that it charges for parking. Why? ... this isn't a downtown facility. It does not matter that its only 10 usd. Plenty of space for them to charge.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and all the staff were great. But after paying $200/night for the room, I still had to pay for parking. This is San Antonio and there is plenty of wide open space - charging for parking is just greedy. Will not return.

There was a weird smell coming from the bathroom sink. Also the shower door didn’t shut completely and water leaked onto the floor. Bed was comfortable and otherwise the room was very clean. The other thing I didn’t care for is we had to pay to park in the parking lot. If it was a parking garage type situation I could understand but just outside the hotel entrance is a little much to ask for.

The room was clean, but the fan was incredibly noisy. Much louder than your standard hotel room. We asked to be moved and they kindly accommodated this, but the next room had a fan that hardly blew. I’ve seen multiple complaints on Google about the climate control at this hotel. It’s apparent that they need to upgrade their systems.

Had an ok stay here over the weekend. The staff was accommodating in helping me change dates after I mistakenly booked the wrong ones, but at this price point any property that charges for self-parking looses a grading point. Paid self-parking is listed in the property details, but this is unacceptable IMO. The largest deductions in my score, however, came when I banged my shin into a wooden trim piece sticking out into the only walkway around the bed in the middle of the night, and when the room AC switched itself to heat & became unresponsive the morning of check out.

Very clean hotel, up to date, incredibly friendly staff, feels safe and easy to access. I would stay here anytime.

I guess I should’ve read the fine print but we stayed at other hotels in the area and they all have free breakfast and free parking. Not this one! $10 for parking is not crazy but still annoying. And free breakfast seems standard nowadays. And it’s not like this was a cheap stay, it was $200 plus for one night. Also, the wall between our room and the adjacent did not hold sound. I thought the people next-door were in the hallway because I could hear them so clearly and it turned out they were in their room. I would not stay there again.

Perfect spot for a weekend stay, our shower head kept coming off when showering but I managed. Paid to park car in hotel parking this should have been included since paying for more then one night.but over all was clean, quiet and next to everything and had Starbucks available in lobby nice place!

I gave the hotel another chance but shouldn't have. The room I requested was not available when I arrived because it hadn't been cleaned. Keep in mind that I called upon my arrival in San Antonio. Several wake up calls were scheduled to no avail. I observed a couple who'd asked to access their luggage being told, "This is the last time" by the front desk agent. It shouldn't have mattered if they'd asked 100 times. I've grown weary just writing this. I'll not stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Six Flags at The RIM again.

Room was clean and comfy. Great for staying while visiting six flags for a day. We could see the SF fireworks once we left out of our bedroom window. It did take them 2 tries to get us some linens for the pull out bed right but otherwise was a great stay.

Everything was very nice. Desk chair had a problem and reported to staff. $10.00 for parking is a little strange. I assume because of close proximity to Six Flags is the reason.

Personals. It was very clean. I love that there’s a Starbucks on my coffee person. There’s also a restaurant that was a place for us. That we had to pay for parking. I really didn’t know that was a thing nowadays. but it kept her vehicle saved.

When we arrived we were told that we had to pay for our parking at the hotel lot, walking in there were boxes everywhere as well as mattresses. We even found a roach crawling around in our room. The only good part was the service from front desk worker Jared he was very sweet and helpful.

loved the location close to fiesta texas, shopping at la cantera as well as all the local stores on vance drive, dining. can park at hotel and walk to dining, the area is safe. but there is a bistro on site. the pool was nice for the kids but it is shared with the radisson next door.

We liked the hotel, it is very close to where we wanted to spend the day and it was very clean. But the staff attentiveness is awful, we came down a little late to get some water from the lobby and we were there for half an hour trying to find ANY staff and the lobby was completely empty. It raised questions about the safety of the hotel.

The pool and courtyard area was cute and fun. The staff was very nice. For the price, the rooms were quite small. No microwave, and no complimentary breakfast. Beds were uncomfortable and the hotel hallways were so hot the walls were sweating. Looked better in online pics.

I was disappointed in check in because the young lady was trying to check me in and the manager kept interrupting desk her questions as if I wasn’t standing right there! To her credit, the young lady finally told her manager please let me finish with my customer and then I’ll get you what you need. The AC in my room would not stay on so it was very hot and humid until about three in the morning.

Rooms are well appointed and beds were comfortable. I rented two adjoining rooms and found the double doors adequately blocked the noise from my daughter’s loud group of friends. So bonus star on that alone. Outside pool with no shade covering.

Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. Our ac unit was not cool enough. Did not cool any lower than 73F. We went out and returned late at night, we didn't think it was a huge deal to request a different room ,but a cooler room would have made the experience better.

The Rim Pass Courtyard Marriott was convenient to meet all of our families needs. Great restaurants and stores nearby. The staff on duty were helpful and kind! Sandy thank you for making our stay a pleasant one!! Definitely will revisit hotel location and La Cantera area.

The hotel is good, but the rooms are small, I rented a king with a sofa bed, for me, my husband and my 5 and 8 year old. The sofa bed is very small even for two small children.

Bad service and no drinking water

We stayed couple of nights while enjoying SeaWorld and Six Flags. The hotel is convenient located. The room was comfortable, the bathroom needs maintenance. We paid daily parking fee which I found unfair since the room price is already high for a three star hotel. Breakfast is not included. You need to ask for extra pillows and blankets since there’s none at the room. Staff very nice and professional.

Had a little mishap but was very well taken care of. Security the best. Will absolutely stay again.

The fact that even though are family booked separately they were eligible to put us all together to make it convenient. For all of us to be on same floor & close by. The hospitality from front desk to housekeeping was so welcoming

I made a mistake booking the room online and was going to be charged extra to change the date through Expedia, but they called the property to ask for an exception. Courtyard was super helpful and allowed the change without charging me. The staff was very nice and welcoming upon our arrival. The room was neat, clean, and inviting. We highly recommend this hotel.

Parking not included, check in staff was very confused with my Canadian drivers license and didn’t know how to read our address even though I already checked in online. No lobby coffee was available in the morning and found the hallways seemed a bit noisy. Other than that great location nearby shopping and room was comfy.

This property was close to the conference I was attending. I felt the property was safely lit at night. Upon check-in the young man greeted us in a very nice manner. There were plenty of convenient shopping and dining preferences. Check-out was easy however the night auditor was not as gracious as the young man when we checked in. My roommate was under the understanding that breakfast came with our stay. She inquired and was told by the auditor that if we wanted free breakfast we should book our stay at the Residence Inn next door. Ouch! Maybe next time I will book the Residence Inn.

Weekend trip with my son to Six Flags. Price was GREAT for the area. Plenty of food and shopping nearby. Room was clean, A/C worked great, and staff was super friendly. Starbucks in lobby. This hotel shares and courtyard with another hotel. They have a fire pit, a great pool, outdoor seating, volleyball, corn hole, and oversized Jenga. Definitely will stay here again!

The only thing I did not like is that we had to pay $10 a night for parking. Other than that, it was great.

Me and my family were very pleased with our stay at this hotel because it was clean, nice staff and we felt sage. Also it was close to Six Flags, restaurants, and Target. The only inconvenience was that it was near the construction of the highway.

Pillows smelled a little weird

Check-in was quick and efficient, but we were presented with an unexpected requirement to register and pay for hotel self-parking in the adjacent lot. Not cool. When I addressed this with a familiar desk clerk upon check-out, the fee did not appear on my folio.

Nice place and staff. I stayed twice. On one ocassion there was an error on my reservation and it took a while to solve it. It was late and I was tired. The second time there was no hot water in the shower. I am not sure if I want to stay there anymore.

Courtyard Marriott excels in guest services, amenities, and overall comfort for family travelers. It has consistent easy check-in, friendly reception, and predictably comfortable accommodations.

Carpet was dirty and sticky, room humid and A/C wouldn't adjust. Parking gates were closed way too early and we couldn't get in. Grilled Cheese from dinner was actually cold in the center.

We stay there once a month its our happy place !!!

Bed was comfortable and property safe. Tv never worked and shampoo container was on floor and not glued properly. Brought to management attention and container was fixed but TV never worked.

Everything is good no problems i would stay here again.

The location of hotel is great- however rooms are are worn and old and appear dirty. The hotel should consider updating rooms and bathrooms.

Front desk friendly and quick service. Love the area for dining and family activities.

Courtyard was very accommodating with my specific requests. They even allowed me to check in early which is a huge plus. To top that off, check out is at noon. Their room is spacious and laid out nicely. As far as hotels go, I got my best sleep in this particular hotel. I would definitely book again!
