Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio near Frost Bank Center

They had plugs as well as USB plugs between the two beds and the USB plugs didn't work. So we had to ruin a cord to the other side of the bed to charge each phone. Then the plugs in the wall that they had a lamp plugged in to only one plug worked. The floors were not very clean. In the corn next to the bed there were chips and next to the fridge was dog food. We didn't bring a food so it was not from us. We have stayed here three years in a row now and it seems that things are getting worse by the year. Won't be back next year. Going to find a new place.

This property was in a good location for what we needed, but I can’t say that it was super clean or well maintained. I will not stay there again.

We wanted to checkout the first day we got there. The sheets had stains, the microwave started popping on first use. The pool was broken. The breakfast was terrible. The staff did try to make it right by moving us to a different room - the sheets were better, the microwave worked, now the coffee machine was broken.

The rooms were clean and had lots of space The air conditioner was too loud and the guess that was above us kept me up all night because they were very rude and made a lot of noise running stomping their feet banging on the ground, walking too loud and dropping loud items..Yes I did complain but nothing was done

They need to explain their policies and procedures alo more clear. They left my family stranded outside overnight, would not allow them a key to enter and their rooms had been already reserved and paid for. Not a good experience.!! Would not recommend.

The property was conveniently close to all of my activities. The front desk staff was nice. The ac was great! The room I had was not at all the best. There wasn’t a do not disturb sign. I asked for staff not to come in my room, unless requested. It was disregarded my whole stay. The room I had (320) had patch work done to the walls that were obvious and markings on the floor. The room was very dated and the elevator made noise every time someone used it. There were also strands of hair on the floor. The safety latch on the door was loose. Mind you I was traveling with my 2 year old grandson.

Terrible stay here, checked in around 8pm and the lobby was very dark and dim with the lights turned off. Once I got to my room it had a weird aroma to it, almost like BO had mixed with cleaning products. There was also some red staining on the bed sheets that had a blue hue surrounding it as if someone had tried to clean or scrub off the red staining. this hotel also has conjoining doors between rooms and although the guy at the front desk ensured me they stayed locked at all times, I was able to unlock the door from my side and see the door attached to the room next to me. There was also random boogers and things stuck onto the wall that were hard to have missed if the rooms were cleaned properly. The inside of the shower was also dirty and could have easily been wiped clean. Hardest time ever trying to get a refund for this hotel, the front desk was unhelpful and told me he could not give me refund and I needed to contact the third party website I booked from. he never stated he could not refund me at all, just that he was unable to and to contact someone else. I was denied the refund from the property but was given a voucher from hotels.com who I booked through. Will never book here again and it is not worth the price at all. It was musty, gross, and in a weirdly sketchy part of town. Don't waste your time here, it's a DaysInn for a reason.

2 of the 3 staff members were kind and helpful. When I got into bed, I noticed a foul odor and moisture on my leg, only to discover the mattress was soaked in urine. I requested a room change and was initially told no rooms were available. However, once I asked for a refund on my prepaid reservation, another room suddenly became available. The front desk clerk then told me I should have reported the issue earlier and implied it was my fault the room could no longer be rented for the night, rather than acknowledging the unacceptable condition of the mattress.

Lobby was clean and updated, rooms was not. Pool was freezing, small, and crumbling, but water was clean. Breakfast was stale white bread and weird tasting eggs with bad coffee.

The breakfast were decent. It was repetitive but you had a good bit to choose from. There wasn’t any noise during the day or night. The staff is friendly and I was able to utilize the lil fitness room they have in there. Housekeeping came by every day to check and change out towels and take the trash. I kept finding strands of long hair and the slip mat is attached in the tub needs to be removed as one side was detached and was molded. The area surrounding it was a little sketchy.

It is very dated & was not clean. The towels are dingy, there is some sort of peel & stick on the bathtub and the edges are curling up. The drain in the tub/shower was not draining so we asked to be changed to a different room. The property was sold out so that was not an option, but they did get maintenance to fix that problem. These type issues should be fixed before guests arrive - it was so gross taking a shower while standing in the dirty water. The property is just run-down and definitely needs an update, but the property definitely needs to be cleaner.

Location not found. Both addresses associated with the booking were not valid. We drove around for over an hour looking for this hotel and never found it. When we called to speak with someone, they were extremely rude. Not helpful at all. We canceled and chose another hotel that actually existed.

The only issue I faced was that there was no hot water. The water was lukewarm when it was about to be off so I showered with no much water

Overall a 3.5 stars. Room was decently cleaned but definitely needed a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, your typical continental breakfast. Parking was chill, they weren’t sticklers.

Breakfast was decent, bed was comfortable, quiet place, decent place for the price. Had a little trouble adjusting hot and cold temperature in the shower. Fitness area was very small and some machines were not functioning properly.

The one thing that my room got going good was the shower. The water pressure was great. Helped with getting a relaxing shower. It was strong current. Although the tub itself was dirty, the water pressure helped to take my mind off of that. Mainly the bed was the worst. It was hard as a rock. Felt no cushion whatsoever. The tv was also located in a weird way where it was hard to view from the bed. I also got a faulty room where the lamp lights would flicker a lot. The A/C was so loud. It helped with white noise for when I tried to sleep but during the day it was kinda annoying.

This hotel is in a bit of a rough neighborhood. There are no restaurants or amenities close by. The sheets on the bed were old and needed replacing, the pillows were disguising. I went and bought a new pillow for my stay. The bathroom needed a bit of a better clean, there was a clump of black hair in the corner of the bathroom.

Excellent place to stay. The cost is very reasonable. The rooms are very clean. The staff is very professional. I would highly recommend this place.

The breakfast was not fabulous and the tables were sticky in the dining area. I feel like the owners are trying to improve the place. My towels were like brand new towels with a little extra lint and soft. Beds were very clean. I had to clean the counters, a chair with spill marks and bathroom surfaces myself. It was mostly clean, but there were sticky spots and the bathroom seat had some things not fully cleaned. Maybe they should have only room key access in the exterior doors. Because, I had to take my dog out for a potty break and some wild loud guy surprised when I stepped out into the hallway asking if i knew what room was David Bowies. He was serious. I told him I did not. And he proceeded to pass by yelling. Where you at. What room you in.

The day after we checked in we didn’t receive any room service but I did mention that to the receptionist the following day and she made sure we had room service that day. Over all stay was good and close to where we would be attending that weekend.

Staff was awesome. However, in the room I found 2 roaches. Also, the bedding had old blood stains. For someone who’s allergic to roaches this was huge, because the specific scent they had, made my 2 days me being fully congested. Breakfast was okay, but would not hurt having a bit of more options

When we got back at 2an the room was still warm but I didn't have energy to tell the same story to the same person who didn't care. At far at the chair all he did was snap a picture. Left the damage broke product in the room. The only reason it's getting to 2 starts is because those pillows were extremely comfortable and it was actual a clean room.

Staff didn’t clean properly after pulling hair out of drain to get it to drain. As well as had another guest enter our room in the middle of the night as we were asleep. Not sure if it was a card issue or a door issue

We had a wonderful stay at the Days Inn. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. So thankful it was pet friendly. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety. Great value for the price; would definitely stay again.

A few days later, I was shocked to see a $250 charge to my card for a “broken blind.” That blind was already damaged when we arrived. It had a burn mark, was taped together, and came apart the moment I tried to pull it down. It was clearly patched up before, which tells me this hotel is reusing the same broken blind to scam guests with fraudulent charges. I immediately reached out to Wyndham and Hotels.com, but neither helped resolve the issue. In the end, my one-night stay in this terrible room cost me $324.05 for something I absolutely did not break. This hotel will take your money under false pretenses. Be very cautious before booking here—what happened to me can easily happen to someone else. Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Frost Bank Center is not only poorly maintained but also dishonest.

The so-called mattress on the sofa bed was very thin and very stained. It was disgusting. I had to move the floor lamp to the kitchenette area because the ceiling light didn’t work. There was obviously an electrical problem because the mounted microwave didn’t work either so there was another microwave on a table.

This was the perfect for a family with small children. The room was spacious enough for our little one to run around, they didn’t get bored while we were at the hotel. The beds were so comfortable and the overall experience in the room was amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly, it is near an HEB, which came in handy when we forgot some essentials. Definitely would recommend it!

The room was ok. However it was not made during our stay. Definitely needs to be checked

We rented hotel for a concert at Frost Bank Center it was perfect location. Hotel was very clean and rooms were large with microwave and fridge.

Property was very clean. Staff was not friendly but not rude. Room was big and clean. The humidity in room was overall just the worst thing.

Went for one night for a concert, was a good stay. Only issue, our room wasn’t ready when we got there, was after 5..we were a little worried because we had to get ready for the show but only had to wait maybe 10 minutes. Thankfully it wasn’t longer. The room was nice, honestly better than I expected! Staff was friendly! This is the place to stay if you’re coming for a concert, it’s about 7 mins away from frost bank center. Will definitely stay here again for future shows.

Close to Frost Center, quick and easy check-in, clean rooms, soft beds. Great place to sleep after a late concert or game.

Beds were soft, comfortable and room was very clean. But that’s it, fridge was broken, I need to put my insulin in the fridge and was unable to, the room was colder than the fridge. The microwave didn’t warm up the food had to put it for 3x t amount of time in order to have my food warm, the bathtub was very slippery, and when it was my turn to shower, which I chose in the morning, everyone else showered the night before, there wasn’t any hot water. Then the door to the bathroom on the inside was broken and was painted over. The breakfast was okay, the potatoes on the eggs were not cooked, everything else was good. LOVE HOW CLEAN EVERYTHING WAS & the staff was VERY NICE! But I feel like I should get a free night at another Days Inn & Suites, I feel like I got cheated and robbed.

Staff was really nice, helpful and very accommodating. I pointed out that we were going to stay for six nights and the occupants above my room must have been riding the chair back and forth late at night. They were making so much commotion that I could not get a decent sleep and rest after a very long drive. Staff transferred me to another room on the third floor where my stay went very quiet as if I was sleeping back home again. Thank you so much for a very pleasant stay.

This had “great property” reviews why we chose it but it was run down and awful. Stains, stinky, breakfast was trash. Only reason we picked was because it was close to base and great reviews. Property is in ghetto and shows.

Overall the hotel was good. Room was clean, no bugs or bedbugs found when I checked each day and no run ins with roaches. Only notable issues was the sink drain that didn’t drain the best (was doable) and our first night the hallway smelled like weed, although I did let the front desk know and they were very quick to clean the hall and remove the smell. (you can tell they didn’t just spray febreeze, they did clean well.) Breakfast was okay, had choice of waffles, cereal, eggs, and different pastry options. Was also juice and coffee. Not the most luxurious, but comfortable and clean for those on a budget. Good quality for price.

It was kept dirty and the place was very smelly. At night the guest above my room kept walking and thumping stuff all night long so I could not sleep well.

For the price it was ok . Location not great , room was spacious and beds were comfortable but the cleaning wasn’t that good I’m talking about the floors in our room . The door in our rr was in poor condition like the bottom was destroyed . Breakfast wasn’t good for me mg kids didn’t even like the apple juice . I only liked the sausages and the coffee . Selection is very small eggs , sausage, biscuit, watery gravy and waffle

There's a reason why I stayed here again. It's comfortable, clean, and staff is friendly. The suites are great & clean, but the breakfast is top notch! Get there early because it gets packed. The parking lot is spacious and well lit at night. I felt safe walking my dogs at night. It's a decent place and I recommend it.

You get what you pay for here. Bed was comfy enough, room was super humid, and breakfast was edible.

Our stay was pleasant. The only problem the room needed to be aired out it had a musty smell.

The check in process was fast and the front desk associate was very sweet but the room was a no go, the restroom door was squeaky and felt like it was about to come off. The tub was gross, the towels had staining. The beds felt like there were crumbs on there, like they didn’t bother to clean them. Which is why I bring our own blankets.

the property itself was nice, though the area itself didn't feel "safe." the employees were awesome, especially the gentleman who checked us in. turns out he's from our part of the state. he was very personable

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Couple gas stations and a taco place within walking distance. A Starbucks too if you really want. The room was huge! Like I questioned if I was in a secret apartment as I had not been in a hotel room that large. Normal wear and tear. Have I mentioned the Texas shaped waffles?! Cause that was beyond cute and delicious. Your normal continental breakfast options.

Our room had a musty smell when we arrived. The gentleman from the front desk sprayed the room and it was much better. The handicapped buttons to open doors were not operational. The breakfast was good, as were the laundry facilities.

Generally, this is a lower end hotel in terms of price, so I am very mindful of that fact. The positives of this hotel is that the front desk was very courteous and helpful. I did have one extraneous request that they very happily obliged. The breakfast was quite standard for a hotel breakfast, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. The rooms were cleaned daily (if you want) and you get new towels everyday as well. The bed sheets and towels were both clean as well. A couple of negatives: It is an older hotel and you can definitely tell. There was rust in the bathtub, so we couldn’t really enjoy the bath. There was a perpetual musty smell every time we entered the room. I laid out a cup of coffee from breakfast to try and mask it, to no avail. The days we went also had heavy rain and I saw that the rainwater was leaking through the edges of the window. The musty smell may be a result of this. I cannot be certain of this, however. Lastly, and probably the most detrimental to me, I could hear the people upstairs and next door moving around very clearly. I could not hear voices, but their every footstep and movement seemed to ring through the walls like a vibration. Overall, while I may return to this inn for a quick overnight stay, I do not think I will back for longer than a night.

We booked this to attend a concert at the Frost Bank Center. We booked months in advance and u like some hotels we were given the room we expected. Staff was friendly and always available. There was a lot of guests to see JHope’s Hope on the Stage tour and everyone was treated respectfully. Excellent stay

I found some old foods left in the microwave and a hanger was hanging on top of a canvas. Make me feel like the room was not taken care of the way it should be

Went tovSan Antonio for a concert.The staff was very nice. The property was nice. The room was nice. There's nothing close by for eating which was the only thumbs down for a lovely stay! If I ever get back to San Antonio I would stay here again.

pillows were horrible. hotel had a bad smell. sofa bed was very uncomfortable you can feel all the springs. had no sheets for it.

Our room was exceptionally clean and accommodating. The hotel was easily navigatable and close to a popular event venue. Walter at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! Will certainly stay here again when attending future events!

The elevator smells like moth balls. The room was big but smelled like urine. The pool was cold and dirty. Just wasn’t as nice as their photos make out.

I stayed here for two nights while celebrating my daughter’s graduation from A-school. Walter at the front desk was very pleasant and made checking in seamless. The rooms having multiple outlets at various locations was a plus. The beds were comfortable. I prefer to stay where breakfast is included and overall it was good. The second morning I went to mix the scrambled eggs and saw the eggs from the day before underneath. I could tell because those eggs had been seasoned with someone that made them reddish. That was weird. I would recommend and stay here again.

It is close to Frost Bank Center. It was not the newest place but was clean.
