    It was clean and very comfortable. The booking was to pay on site but they run your card anyways without telling you. The parking lot was small. You had to park at another location next to the hotel that had no lights. The only good thing was that there is a police station near by so cops would drive by throughout the night but still felt like we could’ve been robbed out there.

    The outlets by the bed were not working. The lamps had no lightbulbs. The waffle batter was missing something or the timer to cook was wrong. Staff was very friendly otherwise.

    The hotel was under renovation and there were construction material everywhere, all the hallways were pretty dirty. The elevator was not functioning. The heater inside the room started making a lot of smoke when we turned it on. No trash can inside the room. Very bad experience.

    That they would’ve let us know that they were in remodeling and also didn’t have continental breakfast. The guys that were remodeling the hotel. They woke us up at 8:30 and we called the front desk and they still were talking and playing around so it was not a quiet environment. The bathroom wasn’t even fully remodeled. There was an air bubble on top of the shower and we found roaches.

    The room was ok. Very new. Lots of cabinets. New tv, remote hard to handle. Microwave. A full sized refrigerator. ( I was surprised by that). Entire building being remodeled. Lots of building materials inside and outside. No real breakfast set up. Only waffles, but nothing to drink. Exitdoorprpropped open

    I had stayed here before when it was a Quality Inn. It is currently being refurbished. The hallways were full of construction materials. My room did not have a tv.     I needed a last minute place to stay and found this place. Front desk lady was really helpful and nice. Place was really clean and comfortable. We could tell everything was just being upgraded and new so I didn’t mind they didn’t have the morning breakfast license to serve yet since everything else was clean.

    This was my first time at this location. It was fairly easy to reach. As I entered the front, I noticed a sketchy person sitting on a bench. When I went to check in, someone was ahead of me. I waited. Then another sketchy person (not a guest) entered the lobby..stayed for a moment...then left. I originally requested a 3rd floor room, but the elevators were not working, apparently. I then got a room on the 1st floor, which was fine. As went to find my room, part of the hallway was dark, which was odd. Later, I mentioned this to the front desk person and he turned the lights on. I went to my room, which was fine. There was a mini fridge and microwave. Big plus. Outside of my room, there was a receptable where normally one would find a fire extinguisher. It was empty. In the room, I noticed that the bathroom sink only let out a fairly thin stream. It wasn't a big deal, just thought it was odd. On the plus side, the bathroom had quite a number of those little soaps and personal care items. The WiFi was working fine. A password was not required. For the most part, it was a positive experience. People need to be aware of sketchy people outside the property. They shouldn't be allowed to enter the property at all.

    Beds are NOT queen size so if you are looking for a room with queen beds, this is not the place. Swimming pool is not usable. Roaches in one room. Mold in other rooms. Breakfast looked okay but we decided not to eat there for personal reasons. Waffle makers was filthy and gross. Staff was great!!! But they are remodeling and not worth the stay!

    This was really not good. The carpet was damp, we wore our shoes the whole time, the faucet in the bathroom never had hot water, the lobby looked like they forgot to stock it and the breakfast was lacking at best. I’m glad we were just resting our heads. Our key holder was a sticky note with our room number scribbled on it? Such a disappointment. At least the check in guy was nice.

    Interesting experience. They are in process of renovating and change in management. Breakfast was not available but they did gives us the option to cancel because of that. The guy that checked us in was friendly and gave great recommendations for the area. I would suggest to call ahead and see where they are at in their renovations.

    It was the worst nightmare ever. This place shouldn't be operating. I am very surprised the health inspectors haven't shut them down. The bedrooms are the dirtiest I have ever seen.. from blood on the toilet seats to a dead frog inside the room to lots of bed bugs all over the bed.. I have attached a few pictures so that you can get an idea of what this place looks like on the inside..we were moved into another room that appeared cleaned but the mattresses and sheets are full of bed bugs.

    I booked this room months ago because we knew it was going to be a busy weekend but when we arrived at 6:00 pm (check in is 3pm), I was told our room wasn’t ready and needed 15 more minutes to clean the bathroom. We left to grab a bite to eat but turned around and went back to start getting ready as we were on a timeline and had to be somewhere by 7:15. We got back to the hotel and they had cleaned the wrong bathroom and our room still wasn’t ready. The front desk guy said, “we thought you were going to eat” like that should matter. Room should’ve been ready by 3:00. Finally get in our room and the carpet looked like someone bled out in one area of the room, toilet looked like a toilet in the dirtiest truck stop store you could ever imagine and didn’t flush well. We stay in SA a lot so this place is definitely scratched off my list.

    Dirty rooms, no towels for 2 days as in none at all, no toilet tissue, dirty floors, elevator did not work, pool was a puddle of green water, ice machine did not work, no internet avaliable, needless to say bfast was a not available. Over flowing trash cans, horrible marijuana and smoke smell. Had to yell on all floors unable to find ONE single employee. Police called for drugs, unsafe.There was a hand written sign that said if you are not happy with the room you would get a refund.

    Arrived there they gave me the wrong room and the room I was given was dirty went back to the front desk got a new room but the new room wasn’t prepared with towels or soap. The next day I asked if they had any soap the answer was no, they had a used bar of soap. I said no I’m ok. The water leaked in the bathtub all night. Room was dirty had to wear my sandals because I didn’t want to get dirty.

    Went to Che king and the property was not at all what the pictures looked like. Property was under construction- so no WiFi, no breakfast and no elevators. Other customers were complaining about lack of cleanliness. We got a full refund and went somewhere else. Staff was very nice and understanding about the situation.

    9 minute drive to river walk was the only plus, the evening manager seemed ok as well though friendly staff should be normal, they advertised free breakfast but had none and really the place looked run down from the inside, if you're traveling with family on a budget i recommend spend a few more dollars stay somewhere nicer.

    The room that I was "upgraded" to was a closed off room. There was blood and other things on the bed. Mold and dirt on the floor and roaches in the bathroom. The outside and side looked nothing like the pictures. The elevator was broken and the from desk stated someone stole their phone. Other hand the staff was very polit and understanding and communicated with Expedia via email about a re-fund since I didn't stay at all. I was informed by both partied that the re-fund was approved, but I still haven't received that refund.

    The hotel advertised that they provided breakfast, but they have shut that down due to budget constraints by the new management. Their elevator was broken so I had to take the stairs to/from the third floor. The only ice machine at the hotel on the 2nd floor was not working. I was not provided any soap in my room.     I will never ever stay at another Quality Inn until I die. There was no Internet for the 2 days we stayed. The Quality Inn has no aspiration to fix the problem, either. Quality Inn advertises breakfast, and there is no such thing. The worst, horrific part was climbing the stairs for 3 flights with luggage since the elevator was broken the two days we stayed there. The ground hallway smelled like urine and trash. We had to plunge our own toilet so we could use it. I feel different about different about staying in San Antonio. I will travel to Corpus or Galveston where I never have problems with hotels.

    We arrived and right off the bat were met with issues. The elevator was broken and so was computer system. It took like 15 minutes to check in. Once we did, he gave us a 1st floor room due to elevator being broken. Right when we walked into the room a musty smell took over. We had driven 4 hours so we all needed to use the restroom…it was clogged! I went to tell the front desk and he went to go as another room for their plunger and handed it to us for us to fix! We were already unimpressed but that did it for us. San Antonio had several major events going on this weekend plus it was Valentine’s Day so that was going to be a problem getting a new hotel. We called several and were told there was no rooms. We finally got desperate enough that we started driving around and thankfully found another hotel. When we returned to get our belongings and tell the front desk we wouldn’t be staying he apologized but said thank you! The neighborhood seemed rough but we were willing to look past that but the smell and clogged toilet was a big no no for us! Would not recommend ever nor book again!

    We booked last minute and they have available room, but we regretted it. Nothing worked in the room. We were originally given a room that was still sorry and smelled weed. Then they checked two more rooms to see if those were cleaned and ready. The fourth room was supposedly ready and clean, but nothing was working. Television not working, microwave was not working, walls have smears of dirt, smelled like they poured chlorine all over the room, light fixture hanging by it’s wires, drinking water is available from a pitcher that has no lid, area seemed unsafe, definitely not for family. I do not recommend, please stay away.

    Stained chair on arms and seat. White Bed sheet had hair breakage from previous people, burnt cigarette hole and stained pillow cases. Didn’t seem it was new sheets placed just fixed. No toilet in the room and when asked, was given already opened half used toilet paper roll. AC unit smelled like mold and was not working properly. Service desk was welcoming. Seemed short staff in housekeeping.

    Because there were crumbs on the floor. I had to pull her from the next room to vacuum it. After that There was no cleaning crew at all.     This property is trash! People live on the property and hang out outside partying. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures and looks ran down and the elevator broke several times while we were there! When you first walk in the room it smells like meldew.     It was a two star place and you get what you pay for. However, I was not expecting the lobby to smell moldy or for the AC in my room to not properly, it was warm at night. The smoke detector was removed and was left with wires hanging from it. The paint job and repairs that were attempted were subpar. The paint didn’t match and it looked like a kid did the job. It was affordable, but will pay a little more to stay elsewhere with better quality building.

    Absolutely awful hotel canceled my reservation with no prior phone call or notice so I showed up to find that out and they were no help refunding me! Thankfully Expedia was great and handled it for me.

    We were given a room where door was swung wide open and there was blankets and towels all over the floor with no one in the room . Then our second room consisted of soiled blankets. We had to ask for 3x blankets because all of them were soiled and had blood on them . In the one day stay the fire alarm went off about 3 times and the pool was also not working .

    For the price it was it seems like what we received. There were stains on the bed, towels, and pillowcases. There seems to be mold growing in some places. Furthermore, there were roaches in both the room and breakfast. The service was of good quality and the people were really helpful and patient. For the price of $55 a night it was of average quality and exactly what we expected. Our biggest complait was just the cleanliness of the room.

    We stayed on the first floor and the window was unlocked. The water in the shower was cold. There were stains on the sheets and comforter. The walls in the bathroom were dirty. The floors in the bathroom had hair and dirt from previous occupants. The air outside of the room was humid. The ice machines were out of service.

    This hotel did not have the room that I booked available for me. I booked a room with 2 queen beds, but when I got there, the host said they don’t have any more available and could only offer me a room with one queen bed. I ended up leaving and stayed at another hotel that actually had the type of room I needed. Why show availability for one room when y’all don’t even have it available? I demand my money back since I didn’t even stay there!!

    Gross carpet in a room. full flood water in the shower and look like fungi dirty. Dirty sheets. So annoying key card the door wont let me enter door. I had to walk to the front desk and fix key card.

    Worst place I've ever been, was given the key to an occupied room. Waited 2 hours for another room to "open up" walked into that room and sheets were thrown everywhere, toilet paper all over the room. It was disgusting. Would not recommend even thinking "oh how bad could it be". Don't do it.

    My experience was horrible. I traveled over 3 1/2 hours for my child’s basketball tournament only to arrive and find out my room had been giving away. My reserved , pay at property room giving away to some one who came in and offered to pay more money! Left us high and dry and instead of apologizing or trying to accommodate or offer another location decided to get defense mode like she was on drugs and call the cops . Somehow they STILL tried to charge my card for a room they gave away smh ridiculous I will NEVER recommend this hotel to ANYONE!

    That entire hotel smell so bad (mold odor), shower had a bubble of water accumulation from the ceiling above the shower at room 128, the bathroom door lock knob was broken so we locked it.

    Didn't like that you had to go and take your dirty towels your self and get clean ones, no housekeeping, for breakfast no coffee, no syrup, no muffins. At midnight people screaming and hitting the walls. The room smelled humid.

    I stayed at this property this past weekend. The hotel was good I really enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately I have a complaint. When checking in we have to leave a deposit or a card on file which is common when renting a room. I pre paid for my room on Expedia so all I really needed to do was put a card on file. Long story short I got 2 sodas which I told them to charge to the card. I checked out and when I was looking at my bank statements I saw that they charged my card $194 along with an additional $8. Mind you all I got was two sodas. I’ve called the hotel 3 different times and even asked for the main manager yet each time I was told that they will get my information and call me back. I have still not received any call or message. I don’t like leaving ugly reviews and I did like my stay I just hope that I can get my money back because this is horrible.

    When we arrived, we were faced with our rooms requested not being available/ready. Then we were told system was down and overbooking was the case. Then late at night we were given a one bed room when we had requested two double bed rooms. Rooms had their share of issues including ac cover that would fall off and a sink with only one functioning facet, if the other faucet was opened then water would spill on the floor. For all the inconvenience we were told by the manager we would see a credit, up to this point we are still awaiting that credit.

    Our stay was not the best we’ve had. Property management receive a 10/10, very helpful and friendly. The lobby was clean, it had a weird smell but it was fair but there was a guest i believe who was barefoot and just talking to people randomly and he did end up scaring my aunt and cousin who stayed at the hotel as well as just saying that they were his cousins and to let him eat with them. Scary but going back to the hotel the lobby was clean. Upon entering the room, it was clean but again the weird smell. The bathroom was ok, we did find a small bug in the bathtub but disappeared eventually. The a/c was ok but didn’t cool enough. The beds were comfy enough to sleep well but what did throw me off and didn’t like was that we left the whole day often the first night and thought that housekeeping would come by but didn’t. We found the bed exactly how we left them so we had to sleep with the same sheets and comforter. Overall the hotel is enough to say it’s a motel and most likely not be sleeping here again. Really needs improvement in rooms and the security. Hope this review helps to choose your stay!

    Gentleman at front desk was polite and pleasant. Arrived in room to find smoke detector disabled with plastic bag. Bathroom sink clogged, took minutes to drain. Toilet seat loose almost falling off. Less than 1/4 roll of toilet paper. Noisy all night, people hollering and slamming doors. Breakfast was skimpy (no meat or eggs) - mostly waffles, cereal and poorly mixed machine OJ.
