Clean room, great staff, comfortable beds

The room was good with the exception of kids running around, slamming doors all morning and all night! Kids playing ball in the hallways and lounge area. I never been in a hotel where this is allowed.

Pillows sucked. Super flat. No breakfast buffet! Paid for buffet through booking and there is none. Pay option for breakfast items. Limited to what i paid for before hand. Very misleading and wrong. We skipped trying to get any food or coffee. Front desk was horrible at trying to explain what and how breakfast works. There should be a buffet version and the option for premium breakfast to purchase. So this made us very mad. Another guest in line at front desk behind me also complained about the same exact thing!

⸻ Excellent Stay! Everything was great from the start. The night receptionist was very friendly, and we were welcomed with drinks and chips. The room was clean, and breakfast was a nice way to start the day. The morning staff was also very kind. Highly recommended!

I went to San Antonio for the weekend, but the hotel was just a place to sleep—which I couldn’t really do since my room was next to the elevator, and the noise was ridiculous.

I booked two rooms for my family including breakfast, the hotel charged all family breakfast to one room which exceeded the included breakfast and they charged me for it, I pointed this out at check out and they promised to refund me but never did that!

Excellent stay however Free coffee in the lobby would be great & Indoor pool NOT heated, for what you must pay Lifetime Athletics across the street you could heat your own pool.

On the road with family for eight hours we booked a room for the night. Upon entering our room it had a very strong cigarette smell. I called to make sure it wasn't a smoking room, I advised them of the smell and we headed to the lobby. When we were leaving for dinner my husband advised a lady named Kay at the front desk of the strong smell and her response was "what, you want to check out?) In a very rude manner in front of our children. She was very unprofessional for saying what she said with no solution. After dinner an employee named Juan( very understanding)made contact with us about a room that came available. When we went to bed we got pricked like if there was fiberglass in the sheets. We left it at that with the prior incident.

I so wanted to give a 5 star but took a point off for the fact that there was a fire alarm battery that went out around 1 AM with no maintenance on site that kept us up all night. However, the staff and management did do right by helping us out and not only compensating our stay in points but moved us to a different room that was more quiet and away from the elevators

At checkin Hailey was so very nice and professional, I only wished that my room was on the other side of the hotel due to the road noise ! Although, I could have asked to be moved also. Love the location of this Courtyard by Marriott.

First, I asked the Front Desk person if she could put me in a room near the elevator. She said yes but it would be on the 4th floor. I said, perfect! When I got to me room it was more than 3/4 down the hall. Toilet was very low the floor and was very hard for me to get up and down. My bed was very hard which is not normal for a Courtyard Marriott. Didn't sleep for my two nights.

The only complaint is that the front desk called us accused us of making to much noise, while we were having dinner....and ask us if we were doing anything funny...so then she asked if I had small kids in the room, I told her yes but were asleep...So I went downstairs to talk to her and she said not to worry about it...so it made us very uncomfortable the rest of our stay....

If you have a Ford Truck do not stay here. Came and checked in was inside less than 45 minutes day light and tail lights were stolen in parking lot. no security cameras and the security guard does not show up until after dark

Liked having breakfast & bar in the evenings. We couldn't get coffee after 10am. The bar was not well stocked. The server did a great job, but didn't have bourbon or chilled white wine.

Came here with my family for the first time ever. The front desk staff was very friendly and informative. Our room was nice and cool, perfect temperature. The beds were very comfortable I suffer from back pain and after sleeping on the beds at the hotel I woke up with zero back pain and got amazing sleep. The bathroom was very clean, water pressure amazing. Pool was fun just a tad small but it was very clean and we still had a blast. Parking was very accessible. I’m positive we’ll return on our next trip.

We were here for a family birthday. Location was great for us with plenty of area restaurants to choose from. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet (even though we were right next to the elevator).

Room cleanliness could have been a bit better (candy wrappers and half eaten bag of candy were jammed between wall and furniture, a dead ear wig and a dead rolly-polly inside the room entrance and a couple live ants in the bathroom), but clean linens and bathroom made up for these issues.

My first room had no A/C and barely functioning TV. I was given a second room. TV worked perfectly but the AC was marginal.

Because of a local convention and last minute booking, hotel totally gauged me. There is no way this hotel is worth over $300/night. I felt totally ripped off but had no choice. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Likely short staff struggles so understandable but couldn’t get new bedding after ours got soiled because they didn’t have any clean. Rather than call and let me know they just didn’t change it out after I specifically requested it. After we returned from a long tiring day ready for bath and bed we had to deal with having a bed with no bedding and making it myself.

A typical Marriott Courtyard with good freeway access and lots of restaurants nearby. My complaint is a shortage of convenient power for charging devices and zero USB outlets. Come on, let's be modern.

With Covid and staff shortages it is acceptable and understandable that rooms will not be cleaned every day. In these circumstances I feel more towels, soap, shampoo etc should be provided up front - especially as in my case my stay was eight days or so.

Hotel a little hard to get to. Check in was fine, front desk man was friendly. Explained everything the hotel offered which I thought was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The fridge did make a loud humming sound though. That was kind of distracting but that’s about it. The 3rd floor was really quiet. I would recommend and stay again.
