Americas Best Value Inn AT&T Center

Location was fine! I do not recommend this place!! Apon arivel we waited more than 5 min before someone came to the window! We got our key grabed our belongings to go to the room and the room was never cleaned. Table with dirty rags on it in the middle of the room. Best was not made and there was trash and bags of trash. Proceed to go back down stairs and was offered a room with two beds. Went back up stairs windows to the room were dirty one of the lamps in the room had no light bulb half of the safty lock on the upper part of the door was missing. There was a couple long black hairs on the towels, the ice bucket on the inside was disgusting like it hast been wash or sanitized. There also was less than half of a roll of toilet paper ohh and for the shower the tab for the shower was broken. All together it was not a good experience and I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone. I originally like the place because of the photos online and that they had free breakfast but after my experience I definitely would not eat anything from there

As soon as I pulled into the parking lot there was about 4 police cars in the drive way arresting a individual . The staff was helpful but the property it's self was ran down they did not have a fire alarm installed in the room , no microwave and also when I asked for new Lenin the office said no because I have to ask before 11 am they have no access to that . I would rate my stay at A 3 ..

We got there at 11 o’clock at night and then there was a misunderstanding on the staff for check-in on another person that were knocking on my door at 3 o’clock in the morning which woke us up and didn’t get hardly no rest

Room was ok, no cups, soap, shampoo but we had our own. Otherwise great. Had to pay an extra 100.00 security deposit thought. We got no receipt.

It was terrible. The room had no amenities. There was no soap, no towels no toilet paper for the toilet. Nothing for the faucet sink or the bathtub. There was a leak that goes from the mini fridge to the floor.

This was the WORST experience with hotel ive ever had. Broken into on the first night, drugs everywhere, staff steals the deposit and lies to you, they let the the people who break into the room steal your possessions. Not a safe place.

There was a knock at my door at 3 in the morning, I did not answer. People that look homeless hanging around outside of there rooms. Other than that the hotel was nice and comfortable inside.

They didn’t mention that even though we booked online there is still a $100 deposit. Then we get to the room and the water is brown when we used the sink and final ran clear after a few uses. When taking a shower the water wasn’t even hot it was cold. Also the pillow cases were dirty and looked like it had mold.

The lobby is never opened, no access to vending machines. AC did not work well after second day. Floor felt greasy. Hole patches on wall needed painted. Only good thing was the price. Would never stay there again.

The worst experience ever, but our only option. The room was dirty, unsure what was splattered on the walls and ceiling. Not only that, there were cockroaches everywhere. I couldn’t get out of there quick enough, we barely even slept.

The property itself is definitely not like the pic. Very ghetto, stained sheets, restroom door does not shut. Towel has pube hairs, wall fixtures coming off. It says free breakfast and it's not true. People live there and plenty of homeless people hanging there. Read the fine print as you do have to give a hundred deposit that is not mentioned on Expedia. I did get it back same day as check out. We did take pics and show before we got comfortable. Noisy neighbors as people go in and out as I mentioned, people live there. I would not go back.

This location is SKETCHY! We didn't feel safe at all during our stay. At 3am we had someone knocking at our door trying to get money for anything they could do😳 We chose this location because it was just 5 minutes from Fort Sam Houston where our daughter is stationed but next time we go to visit we will for sure be picking accomodations somewhere else.

In short it's a Roach motel and I look like no one cares about cleanliness or comfortability of guest

I called the property before booking and I couldn't hear him on the phone.....I booked a king size bed instead of two queens and he said there wasn't anything he could do. In person he spoke still where I couldn't hear him

I didn’t receive great service, they tried to make me get a wash towel downstairs myself, and there was no lobby and no breakfast.

There was nothing that I liked about the whole experience! The room was NOTHING like the room listed. In fact, I didn't even get the room that I reserved! The room I got had two double beds instead of a kin, paint was peeling off the walls in more then one place, and the fire alarm was hanging by it's wires on the wall, to name a few! I have photos if you want to see them! Someone from Expedia should check them out! They are giving Expedia a bad name/reputation!

The owner was very rude..the 100 dollar deposit is overpriced for a known drug establishment..not only did I waste a 26.84 Lyft drive to come to the establishment just to be turned down due to 100 deposit for a 40 dollar room..he didn’t attempt to accommodate he over talked me I guess because I’m a woman..I could see a 50$ deposit but 100.. toys was my first and last visit to San Antonio the prices are unrealistic and they don’t have complimentary breakfast to even expect 150 for a 20 .. Expedia please don’t recommend this establishment on your site it’s overpriced and theyare rude and very much non unaccomodating

The guy asked for a card to put a hold for deposit well there room was disgusting unclean we checked out on time and they still kept my deposit on top of that charged extra for no reason at all. pretty much they stole money from me it was the worst stay of my life. some crazy guy was banging on my door all night long might i add. horrified

Its looks like a trap house (selling drugs), the police are always posted up( unsafe) and the staff at the front desk are rude and over charge for everything. The price plus a $100 hold they claim for damage. The building looks like they need to rip it down. Hotel falling apart so why would i pay a 100 for trash. I dont recommend unless you like trash af Hotel. The under pass looks more better and safe than this motel.

This property is in a very unsafe area. The hotel seems like a place people go to use drugs. The property and room smells like smoke and there was a lot of people hanging out in-front the hotel. My room did not have toilet paper.

I booked a King bed but they gave me twin bed. The room smells so bad. It was affordable but the cleanliness is a no no.

NEVER AGAIN! $100 deposit is required when you arrive! The place has OLD pictures on the website. Probably from when it was first built! It is now an UGLY gray color. The rooms are a nasty mustard yellow color and smell musty. DO NOT BOOK THERE!

There were no towels in the room. I called the front desk and I was told if I needed them right away to get them from the laundry myself. Terrible location. Do NOT stay here!

My heater went out and was looking for a cheap option. Just need to somewhere safe and warm to sleep so with that being said, I was not expecting this to be a five star hotel. Made my reservation online. Look to see what the deposit was didn’t see one booked came to the hotel. The gentleman at the front was very adamant About $100 deposit. Which is kind of crazy for $40 room I asked him to show me where he saw the $100 deposit at online. I gave him my phone because I couldn’t find it and it took him about five minutes to find it on the website. So how is a regular person who does not really know the website was to see that and it took him five minutes! I got my room key went into the room heater did not work. Wasn’t going to complain because it was warmer in there than it was outside. The microwave was dirty from top to bottom and horrendous. There was paint peeling from the bathroom wall. There was baseboard flaps, loose the curtain and not close all the way the entrance door look like someone could easily kick it open in the bathroom door was deteriorating so bad and could not close all the way or open all the way due to the door either being too big or warped from water. I have pictures of all of this by the way the bed was actually comfy and no bedbugs thank God but they were cigarette burns all through the sheets, even though this is a non-smoking room. There was some green substance that was stained on the sheets and the bathroom towels every one of them dirty!

We checked in no problem. The room was pretty clean, the bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathroom was pretty clean. The lamps were wonky and worn but the bulbs worked. The drawers had pieces missing but still opened and closed and were clean.For a cheap, fly by night trip, it was just fine.

Too many signs of danger. Lights not working, handprints on the TV, musty neasueating air soon as you walk in, multiple suspicious people on the outside. Had to leave and find another place within a half of hour of arriving.

The rooms were real nice. Mine had a huge tub that I made good use of. I got more than I expected from the cheapest room I could find. The staff could have been more attentive and even a fully functioning vending machine or 2 would have greatly improved beverage and snack options...

I'm a disabled handicapped person I used your app and got a room I paid for it on my credit card then when I went there they didn't give me the room they said oh you need $100 security I called up your company which you had a very small print where nobody can see it. They called up the hotel and they said we're not giving you any money back so I slept in my car as a quadriplegic for the night because you took my money

I stayed in a room with two queen sized beds. One of the two beds had what looked like cigarette burn holes in the sheets and what looked like some black ink stains on the bed runner. The shower head did not have sufficient water pressure. Also I was required to provide a $100 deposit in cash at check in, which was returned at check out. I was not allowed to use a credit card for this deposit but could not understand the clerk’s explanation of why. It was something about their payment system not processing.
