This property exceeded all of my expectations except for one. The good the staff was excellent they were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The room was a single king with bed, lounge chair, wall mounted work area, refrigerator and TV; all fairly standard. More importantly the room was very clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The bad the lounge chair sat very low and uncomfortable. The worst part of the room was the very and way to soft mattress had some back soreness in the morning, to soft of a mattress.

First night 6/6 to 6/8 room was typical. Clean up neighborhood. Homeless people everywhere, walking in road, using the sidewalk for a toilet.

The check-in/ check-out process was quick and easy. The valet parking was also easy and the staff was friendly.

The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. The dinning room and bar were inviting. The breakfast choices were excellent.

Clean hotel. Staff were excellent. This issue is the parking situation which is not ideal.

Staff were great, bar was great, location to golden 1 was great. Only downsides were the size of the room (small/cramped), the bathroom door is see through (awkward if it’s more than one person staying in the room), and the traffic/street train was very noisy and woke us up a few times. Oh and parking is a minimum of $25/day for the parking garage next door or $55/day for valet. Otherwise lovely hotel, close to venue and all staff were very kind and helpful.

The lobby had cold coffee. The room had spoiled creamer, the shades went up at 6:38am while we were sleeping. The room rate was very expensive for this to happen.

Modern finishes in the rooms and walking distance to Sutter Health Park. Front desk staff not friendly. When they say “everything in the room is complimentary” it makes you think you’re getting something special but it was a miniature bottle of warm water. Things that are easily fixed not working in room. Clogged sink, no AC, mini fridge didn’t cool. Room echoed, needs warmth. Oh and it’s a small adjustment with an Allen key to fix the toilet paper holder.
