The staff was informative and very accommodating. For the area, the Inn of Rockwall, is an understated Holiday Inn.

No, couples don't speak highly of this location. Employees were very difficult to understand and understood me even less. There was no fan in the bathroom, who does that! The beds were incorrect on the Expedia website, not the properties, it was correct. They didn't understand NO two adults can't sleep on a full or double bed, if they are all the same size like they kept repeating, then we won't fit on any of them. the pool was not working either!! It was a hot mess!! No carpet on the floors either like in the pictures.

Enough for a passing hotel. The price is fine. But it lacks a lot of cleaning. The room smelled bad, it seemed that the sheets had not been changed we found hair in it, they smelled strange.

The facility is in poor shape and showing it's age. It was acceptably clean. You kind of get what you pay for with this one.

I would give it one star. The tv was the best thing in room had premium channels. The room was a wreck bathroom door looked like a dog had went through it. Someone tagged the wall food stains on walls floor not cleaned I only stayed cause I had my own dog with me & no other motel rooms were available in the area. But I definitely wouldn’t stay there again!

The bathroom was awful. Long black hairs in the shower, urine spots on the floor and toilet. The rack for the towels was partly torn from the wall and had toilet paper stuck in the holes in the wall. The sink had toothpaste and hair in it. The floors were sticky and had food on it. The worker in the front was not interested in helping the situation. The only reason i gave it 2 stars is because it was a fairly nice area. Sooo disappointed..

Staff came to my door at 9:30 am pounding on my door telling me it's 11am. That i need to go. I told her the time she said no it's 11! Very dirty room. Very disappointed and shocked for it being in Rockwall.

Getting to the motel was difficult due to construction on the highway/service road

Person checking in was nice, room was cheap and place felt safe, but the room was disgustingly dirty! Seems like they only vaccum and pick up garbage. The bathroom probably hasn't been cleaned in months. Lamp shades were stained and moldy. Bathroom was moldy. There were stains on the bedskirt. Just overall filthy.

The bed had stains, walls & ceiling had spider webs and restroom floor had red liquid that looked like dried blood

Unfortunately the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. There was hair all over the floor and in the bed.Even dog food on the bed. That’s not something any guest should walk into. This was one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve stayed in,Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here unless cleanliness improves.

The lights were not working. I was giving a card that didn't work and was almost sent to the wrong room that was already occupied. Bed sheets had cigarette Burns in them.

Rooms weren’t as clean as I’d like but still very nice. Parking easy… staff were all pretty nice except owner was a lil cranky…but dont worry you only deal with him at check in… lol showers were good, and you have your own balcony …My fav part

Just common sense things was bad. Upon entering the room the light switch to the the left that should have turned a light on did nothing. Out of two bedside lamps and one desk lamp two of them the bulbs were gone. Upon turning the TV on, said the signal was blocked. Guy behind the desk, unblocked it. After he left, I tried to turn the channel and the remote wouldn't change the channel. It wouldn't respond whatsoever. The mattress had a spot in the middle of it where somebody had set and the mattress collapse down like a pothole in the middle of the bed. I did like the sliding glass doors on the shower though. Plenty of hot water. I don't understand why the maid don't just look over things like that checking the TV out and making sure all the lamps work. It's a no-brainer.

Clean room.. quiet neighbors… great price

We booked a handicapped accessible room because it is advertised on their website and it was not accessible at all. No ramp and the curb is so tall that my disabled friend had to get out of his chair and wrestle with it. The bathroom door was too narrow to fit a wheelchair and even if a wheelchair could get thru, the shower doors were too narrow to fit one. We told the front desk and asked for a suitable room and they said "No, this is the good one". There are only 2 wheelchair ramps on the whole building and they are at the back out of view. I specifically asked if we could have one of those rooms or one near and was told they were not available. Staff seemed annoyed by my presence and was unable to print a receipt. This place officially makes it into my top 5 of WORST HOTEL ROOMS I've ever stayed in over my entire life.

I liked the price for a nights stay I didn't like the black stuff in the shower, or the hairs I found on the toilet, I went and bought cleaning supplies to clean it myself.. And I didn't like that I found burn holes in the bedding, I went and bought some from the Walmart down the street, I wasn't expecting a 5 star experience but the noisy neighbors that screamed super loudly made it a bit hard to sleep and the kids that screamed while running away from each other so loud I thought there was actually an emergency and jumped out of bed while I was asleep.. they lived there..

The room and bathroom was very dirty and gross. The tv didn’t work and when I tried to call the front desk I realized the phone line was literally cut. So I called them from my cell phone to let them know that and he didn’t seem to care. The towels had dark stains and weren’t all the way clean. There was a huge pile of hair in the corner of the bathroom. We made sure our door was locked but when we got up at 7 am, someone had unlocked it. I now see why this place was $54.

Ok, not secure. Very very noisey. Abit of cleaning would be great ..... cobwebs in corners, ceilings, bathroom register was absolutely filthy, the shower was nice because no tub but the caulking was moldy. Bed was good, pillows ick. Price right, convenient to our event.

The housekeeper knocked loudly on the door, and when we didn't answer the first time, she kept knocking in an annoying manner until we got up to open it at 8:00 AM to ask if we were checking out that day. It was inconvenient; she rudely interrupted our rest because that information is supposed to be given to her at reception, and she shouldn't be bothering guests before 11:00 AM. Very bad.

The customer service is Horrible and room are not very clean was very unhappy with my stay there the Front desk Guy was super rude and very inpatient. Wont recommend this place to anyone and wont stay there ever again. Only bright side to my stay was the house cleaning lady was friendly and also said the same about the guy who is at front desk during the day. Sye said the get alot of complaints about his attitude and told to report it in my review.

The room was reasonably clean, including the towels and sheets which seemed fresh. The bed was comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was quite good. There were only bath towels and bath mats—no hand towels or wash cloths. My favorite thing was the hardwood floors—NO carpeting. My least favorite was the bugs. I caught and released a half dozen crickets and killed several German cockroaches. There were also a few beetles. The fridge was nice and cold, and the TV worked well. I didn’t use the microwave, but it seemed fine. There was an alarm clock (didn’t use, but had correct time) and a phone that worked. All the lights worked, and the room was well lit. The furniture was okay, though a bit dated. The walls and bathroom door really need a new coat of paint, but I didn’t care about that for the price ($135 for 2 nights). The staff were professional, and I had no problem with them. There didn’t seem to be any free breakfast or coffee at all, but there was a coffee maker with supplies in the room (I didn’t use it). The first night, I was awakened a couple times by loud people in the parking lot, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Overall, I have stayed in much worse places, and I would say you wouldn’t mind staying here unless the bugs put you off too much. FYI, I did wipe down EVERYTHING in the room with Clorox wipes, and would suggest the same for others.

I was very disappointed when we first arrived

The bathroom was not clean. Plugs did not work. The display on the A/C did not work.

This place was a dump. Dirty, smelly, nothing worked including the TV and sink. There was a party going on in the parking lot under my unit with a bbq that drifted directly into my room. The security lock was broken. The bed was lumpy and stunk. The AC was so loud I couldn’t hear my music through the headphones in my ears . Other than that it was fine.

Nice staff but would recommend painting and cleaning more frequently.

Nice People at front desk…even though I didn’t arrive till 2:30 AM I was checked in quickly and efficiently and later in the morning the attractive lady at the front desk extended my stay till 12 instead of 11 and that helped me sleep in a bit…overall a great stay…

Stayed there many times before

Room and building aging and in poor condition, broken/beat up furniture, AC smelled, shower full of mold, exterior door warped and would not fully close against door frame. Refused to stay. Sacrificed 1st night cost and achieved refund for the rest of the reserved nights. Staff helpful to this end - though a bit of a chore with Expedia.

Property needs to upgrade the quality of the towels provided. Several cosmetic concerns that brings concern. The furniture needs to be upgraded or touched up. Many cosmetic blemishes that makes the place seem cheap versus quaint and comfortable

It’s dirty full of mold and honestly we won’t be staying there again. It was not this bad before. This was our go to cheap hotel that allowed our dogs, it was clean and decent. But not anymore.

i liked that the bed was clean and big. the bathroom wasn’t very clean, the room we stayed in smells weird, the walls were dirty, and there was a rotted spot in the ceiling and it was molded there as well, the smoke detector was hanging off the wall and looked bad, they didn’t put a new roll of toilet paper in the room, pillows weren’t very comfy, doors look like they’ve been kicked down before or at least the door on our room did, i didn’t feel safe at the hotel. the price of the stay definitely matched the quality of the stay.

Good location, Good price. Room was nasty and had a foul smell. The towels were stained. the shower was nice design but mold was growing in the grout and along the track of the shower door. The toilet was new and nice but ran all night, noisily, and I'm sure wasted alot of water. it took half an hour to get the very smal 15 inch TV to work. There were holes in the wall where the blow dryer had been pulled out of the wall and it hung from its cord. Paint peeling on doors and walls. Just felt uncomfortably unkempt.

We checked in here to do a quick overnight before staying the following evening at my sisters. Check in was easy, the place was under construction, but it was pretty clean. The bed was so comfortable, and we really appreciated the black out shades in the room. This room was a great value and in a good neighborhood. Would absolutely recommend

Before I checked into my room, I was rudely greeted by an African American Man who was looking to start trouble near the front door of the hotel.

The location was convenient, and we saved about $15 over other available places. I might spend the money for amenities if I were going to stay in the room more. The bed was comfortable and there was a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and a small tv. The chairs were fine. If you want a soft towel, bring your own. Theirs are exfoliating.

the bed is uncomfortable. one of the beds had 2x4's sticking out to hold it up. my grandson hit his leg on it 3 times. it cut him and bruised his leg.

Placed next door to extended stay family whom never shut their door, banged on walls all night, kids running and jumping around my car while it’s raining. Stains on bed, bugs flying, not clean

Paid for room ahead of time and was told if I wasn't there in time. They were gonna take my money and not give me a room because I had to work late. They were going to refuse a key for my room because I had to work later.

If I go back to Texas and are within 20 miles I plan on staying there. The only issue I had was over a month ago I used another service and tried to rent at the Inn and never got a confirmation notice I had the rental. When I was on your service, I came up with the same hotel so I made a call and talked to someone and was told they did not have a room for me. Then I went back on the internet and rented the room. @ 2 times the rate the place was worth it. I could have gotten the other reservation dropped but because my wife was out of touch I was unable to locate the phone number in time that I needed to call. With all of the road work going on in Texas the room was one of the highlights, of the trip. I plan on staying there whenever I am back in that area.

In desperate need of any maintenance one can think of. Tetanus shot is needed walking through the door. Used needle found in dresser (charging more than $50 a night is a sin)

Hotel us unfortunately located next to a busy roadway making the rooms less than quiet.

Rooms are very damaged and not safe for children doors broke in half screws hanging out of missing drawers microwave sparks and almost caught fire massive foundation issues and huge cracks in the ceiling. Don’t book here if there’s any events they will charge over $190 for a $50 max room

Rude staff. House keeping didn’t even bring towels or take out trash and that’s all they had to do because I kept my room clean when I was there.
