Friendly staff good location The aircon out of date and noisy the shower no good waist of time and couldn’t open wardrobe door due to water damage

The management was friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was second to none. Plumbing (drains) needed a work over.

Staff dont smile, looks like they dont like to work there, cleanliness could be a bit better.

Staff are doing their best, but owner obviously doesn't put any money into maibtaing the hotel.

Location is awesome and the staff is very polite. Mainly Greice from breakfast was very nice with us! The pool has a nice view from Copacabana. Our room was full of ants and bedbugs, in the bed, towels, floor, but then they changed us to another room that was okay. The breakfast was very poor, almost no options.

The breakfast is really good. The terrace with the jacuzzi is amazing, and so is the view. Some people in the lobby are nice. Some of the lobby staff are super mean... and not helpful at all.

The hotel location was excellent. Hotel was under remodeling and it was open from floor one to six. Just one elevator was working and working very bad. It used to stop on several floors by itself, causing tremendous delays. I used the stairway most of the time. The towels were very old, very thin, lots stains. It looked like used dish cloth. The safe in the room was broken. The breakfast was limited and the exact the same every day. Overall I would not stay in this hotel never again. Just terrible!!!!

Bed was comfortable Unclean/oily tables and surface, unhelpful staff, no working elevator and dark stairwell, breakfast was below average

Very Good Location, Nice Balcony. Beds were uncomfortable, wifi was slow and didn't work on the balcony at all. Elevator was slow. Breakfast options were limited.

I had a very pleasure staying at Oceano Cooacabana Hotel. The location is absolutely fabulous. You just need to cross the Atlantica Av, and you're stepping into the famous Copacabana sand beach. Great views from the top of the building. The staff is also the best in this accommodation. The 2 girls at the reception were very helpful and nice... a great first impression ( I'm so sorry for not mentioning their names as I can't remember, but I'm sure they know who they are). Mrs Graca from the breakfast room is super nice and a super polite lady. Some points for improvements: - WiFi is not reaching the rooms. - Only one lift was working on the 1st day, which caused some issues, but it was fixed on the following day, and it was grand - The hotel needs to change the towels... there are very old. The hotel itself is old-fashioned but it has its charm. However, it needs some updates to improve its standards and to match its location and staff quality.

Staff were all super lovely, especially Julieanna on the front desk made sure to give us good recommendations The lifts were a bit slow

There were daily issues with the elevator, making it extremely inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. The bathroom had no ventilation, making it uncomfortable and unpleasant. The air conditioning barely worked, which made the nights unbearable. Additionally, the beds were very old, and the sheets seemed worn out. To make things worse, the room cleaning was not up to proper hygiene standards, leaving the space feeling unclean. Overall, this hotel fails to meet even basic standards of comfort and cleanliness. I would not recommend staying here unless they make serious improvements.

Service and some options No variety of hot food

The location and the staff Lifts didn’t work properly and got stuck in them and had to force the door open to escape. The WiFi didn’t work The air conditioning was so loud we didn’t sleep properly for 3 days. The staff told us the Spanish owners were not giving the hotel enough money to carry out essential maintenance to bring the hotel up to standard. The jacuzzi looked dirty and the fibreglass was sunburnt The breakfast was made up of low quality food The hotel decoration very old and outdated The hotel lighting where the rooms were located on every level very dark with the lowest energy saving light bulbs. In my opinion the owners take as much money out of the hotel as they can and leave their staff to take.all the complaints . I will never stay in this HOTEL AGAIN

Run away from this place. Location staff understands how run down this place is. Elevator would not stop on my floor took the next floor up and walked down dark stairs. No battery in the room safe. Toilet handle broken left on sink so you can figure it out. Room is extremely old smell is bad. I will upload photos

Disappointing

The location is amazing for Copacabana beach. Some of the staff were really friendly and kind. Safe area to walk around. We got stuck in the lift! And the staff were just like 'whatever we reset it', it broke several times while we were there. Bedsheets stained. Light stopped working in the bathroom.
