Reliable internet was one of the reasons I chose this hotel, so this was very disappointing. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had and I would not recommend staying here if dependable Wi-Fi is important to you.

The hotel was adequately cooled. Staff doesn’t know how to follow up with refresh room requests.

The location and the price are fantastic. The staff are friendly and clearly care about the property. The rooms are nicely appointed and are easy to get comfortable in. The whole experience is a very solid "normal" hotel experience that you'd typically have to pay much more for. The pool was temporarily closed during our stay. The workout room could be bigger and have weights.

The customer service was very good. When I requested items to my room, they were brought up promptly. The hotel is definitely not new but did not have any pests. Unfortunately guests allow their pets to use the restroom on the sidewalk and don't picku up after them near the dog potty area. The cleanliness inside the room was not 100% great but not horrible. More attention to detail when cleaning the toilet would have been nice and not having dirty or stained sheets. I did bring my own disposable sheets so that was no issue. The room served its purpose and overall my stay was okay.

I love staying at Sonesta Select Dallas because how clean, comfortable and affordable they are. There is room for improvement in cleaning bathroom walls- I have seen stains on the bathroom walls. Other than that, it is a great place to stay. 100% recommended

My child and I both woke up with multiple bug bites after spending just one night at this hotel. The bites appeared consistent with what many people experience from bed bugs. The manager contacted me and said they would arrange an inspection and provide me with the report. So far, I have not received any results. She also mentioned that they looked into the issue and did not find any evidence of bed bugs, but judging by the numerous bites on my back and the bites my child received, our experience suggests otherwise. I am still waiting for the inspection report and hope the matter is taken seriously.

The housekeeping staff never came to my room. When I called down to get fresh sheets and towels, I had to gather everything myself and take it to the front desk, get the new items and make the bed myself. I could've just stayed at home.

The breakfast was average but better than the usual continental breakfast most motels provide. It was reasonably priced. The staff was amazing — friendly and full of information about nearby restaurants.

They charge for breakfast, our room didn’t smell good, the bathroom was dirty and it smelled bad, the shower wasn’t working properly, the staff wasn’t that polite, and their was not much channels on the tv to watch.

The room was extremely clean. The toilet seat was loose. I didn’t report it since I only stayed one night. I didn’t have breakfast since it was not included with room price, coffee in the room was terrible so I had coffee delivery from Starbucks. Various Restaurants nearby so plenty of places to eat within area. Parking lot was good size. Staff were polite. It mentioned coffee available in the lobby but that's not the case. Probably won't stay here again. But it's a very nice hotel.

Impressed with everything. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are at a very expensive hotel. The staff was kind, helpful and glad to help you. Definitely coming back! Our room was clean and it smelled so good.

The tv in the room was terrible! The sound didn't work on some channels and the viewing was limited. On the second day of my stay I asked for more coffee for my room, I also asked that the trash be emptied, neither was done, when I went down to the desk later in the day they said they sent the message to housekeeping but they would probably do it the next day. There were also a lot of bugs in my room. The bed was nice though.

The staff is fantastic. The room was clean and no one bothered me when i asked for no housekeeping. The lady at the breakfast counter is super friendly and nice. Breakfast was fresh and pretty reasonable. Tjie place is walking distance to a 7 eleven, a short uber ride to walmart, TJMax etc in case you forgot to pack something. Overall a very pleasant experience. will stay here again.

The hotel is in a safe, quiet location with ample parking. The rooms are large, and the beds are comfortable. You can tell the hotel is outdated by the carpet not being "fresh" and the shower being dingy. Overall, the hotel met a need, and I will probably stay there again.

The building property is old but the lobby is the only thing redone. The rooms need work, the water was clogging in the restrooms. Adding on top of everything, the front desk lady during the day was the most rude person I’ve come across.

The room itself was decent and comfortable, but it could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly—especially the floors, which needed better vacuuming. I booked a room with a balcony, which I was looking forward to, but unfortunately there were multiple wasp nests present. This made it uncomfortable and unsafe to use the space. I would strongly recommend regular inspections and removal of any nests to ensure guest safety. Additionally, the common areas—particularly the hallways and lobby—could benefit from more frequent cleaning. With the amount of foot traffic, there was noticeable dirt buildup near the elevators. Keeping these areas clean and regularly sanitizing high-touch surfaces like elevator buttons would really improve the overall experience. Aside from those concerns, my stay was enjoyable. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this could easily be a great place to stay.

I stayed two days. They didn’t make the bed, clean the room or refresh the room. No single water and safe store in the room. Kind of self service hotel make your bed and room.

I liked the location. Easy access to the highway and felt pretty central I did not like that there was no free breakfast and I did not like that there was only one little trashcan for the room. Very minor otherwise very well done hotel

I was charged $30 for using a hand towel and a wash cloth to wash my face. I was then lied to saying they couldn’t get the stains out with washing it. I asked for evidence of this because I know make up comes out once washed. And the evidence I was sent was a picture of the towels not even attempted to be washed. Complete fraud!!!!!!!

That was literally the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in in my life and I’ve slept in a lot of hotels. They need to definitely work on the beds. Everything else was fine.

The staff is very welcoming and at the price that I paid which was roughly $45 for the night, including all expenses and a one bedroom hotel was phenomenal. Decent room for the price and location. Was a bit disappointed that they are pet friendly and yet the pet fee was $150 plus deposit and a daily fee. That’s double the price of the room. Won’t stay there again just for that inconvenience.

There were also many gnats in the room. I killed at least ten during our stay, and there were still more present. The only positive was the Wi-Fi, which my boyfriend found strong and fast. That was the main reason we decided to stay despite the room issues.

Everything was fine except the website said that the room fit 5 persons but actually its only can fit 4 people on the double queen beds. I was expected that there is an additional couch.

I usually stay at a Marriott, but I must say, Sonesta is beautiful, clean and when customer is above and beyond it really made my traveling much easier. I had to extend my trip another week. This Sonesta is truly clean and beautiful but I decided to extend due to the exceptional customer service provided by Jemini, Lydia and kind interactions with other employees.

First thing when checking in they made us put a $100.00 deposit down in case anything went missing from the room. When checking in we were told we would have breakfast available for purchase(no continental breakfast). We went into the room and trashcans had no trashcan liners and a cheap sign stating what each item in the room cost should it leave while we stayed there. We found our way to the line for breakifast, the lady was making cold sandwiches so we went to Waffle House instead. As we checked out this morning, We asked for a receipt and they stated we get it from who we booked the room through. We gave them a $100.00 deposit and we did not get a receipt for that either. We also got a note that rooms would not be cleaned due to the holiday. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. When asked where we stayed, nobody had heard of Sonesta. Sonesta is drilled into our brain to never grace their doorway again.

I was a little put off by the $200 hold placed on my credit card and the sign on the sink in the room listing the cost of the individual towels in case I was tempted to steal something; it made me worry about the clientele. However, every other guest I met seemed nice and polite and I suppose that the hold was because I booked through hotels.com and Sonesta did not have my credit card number.

Great location with plenty of free parking, even for my oversized pickup. Staff was quite friendly. Room was clean and in good repair. Did not try breakfast. Room layout was a bit awkward in that air conditioner blasted directly at desk, making work uncomfortably cold with a room temp at 75. Room felt like it needed a ceiling fan and less direct ducts.

Overall clean room, it was renovated recently so i could still see the some dirty part but very minor. No complain. Staff were nice and showed professionalism. Surroundings were mostly convenient and quiet. Easy parking. Bed was alright but didn’t match me that well. But I believe that is up to personal preference. Overall, great hotel.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The room didnt have any central AC, just a wall unit, so the room temperature was varied and a bit humid. Also misread "breakfast for a fee" as "breakfast for free". Even so, the available food options were slim. Overall, nothing terrible, but also not anything noteworthy.

The hotel was beautiful for the most part. The only issues we had were we came for an Arab wedding. Which means we were bringing quite a bit of gold to wear and gift for the wedding. We checked in on Friday someone else was in the middle of getting checked in but had to run to their car. Which was fine but the lady at the front desk was rude about it. So we were waiting and part of the wedding party was in the lobby. We were still next in line to be checked in and she completely bipassed us and started checking in someone else who was behind us. The next big issue was on the last night of our stay we came back to our room door being left open and unlocked. We double checked our door before leaving the hotel at 1pm because of the valuables in our room. We came back at midnight to it being open. Contacted front desk immediately with the issue and he brushed it off. Even though we specifically weren’t supposed to have maintenance coming into our room during our stay.

Staff was kind

Clean, nice and updated, but trash bins did not have any trash bags which was a bit odd. Great place to stay I would definitely stay again.

They say it was renovated in 1/25 but the bathroom tub & tile on the floor was dirty & clearly not new. Bed was comfortable. Clientele was somewhat questionable. We moved from the area 10 yrs ago & it has definitely gone downhill. Would not stay again.

I initially booked an "Accessible (Hearing) Room, 1 King Bed with Sofa bed" via Expedia for $70/night. Upon arrival, I was informed that my reserved room was not ready and was assigned an alternative. This assigned room was horrible. I had planned to work on a project for three days to a week, but the conditions made it impossible. The air conditioning unit was directly next to the desk, creating an extremely cold draft in that area while the rest of the room remained uncomfortably warm. I constantly had to adjust the AC, every 5-10 minutes, making it incredibly difficult to focus. Furthermore, the room had several other issues. The microwave had a strong, unpleasant odor, and there was noticeable dust throughout the room, particularly on the lamp and the table next to the bedside. When I attempted to ask a question of another staff member, she simply pointed at a door without speaking, which was unhelpful. Due to these significant issues, particularly the extreme temperature imbalance, I was forced to check out on Tuesday night, cutting my stay short. This was a truly horrible experience. While $70 a night is a reasonable price, and this was my second stay at this location. Based on this experience, I will unfortunately likely never return, even if a good deal is offered. I would rather pay 10-20 more to stay at better place, which is what I should have done to begin with.

Property was great. One of my travelers had just died their hair, and it damaged some of their towels and bed sheets. They only charged me $50 for the damages, and I appreciated the transparency about the situation and fairness of the charges. It's quiet here and it's super nice. I will be back!

1. One room was fine, but the second had no AC. We were moved to a smaller room, not what I paid for. 2. Two lights were broken, making the room very dark. 3. Bathroom door was nearly falling off—unsafe for kids. 4. Toilet was broken. I had to fix it temporarily myself. 5. Room key stopped working after 24 hours—had to rekey. 6. Ice machine was out of service. 7. Shampoo and shower gel came in a tiny plastic bag—very minimal. 8. Elevator broke on checkout day—only one in the hotel. We had to carry all luggage from the 3rd floor by stairs. 9. Staff response was simply: “Unfortunately.” Gave my feedback to the Manager and got back with apologies and would improve it. I let you guys decide how it would be improved in the future.

I liked how the property was clean and updated. The only thing I did not like was having to ask for new towels and switch them out but overall everything else was nice and it was a comfortable stay. Will definitely return.

There are no in room safes. No full length mirror in the room. No luggage rack. Only 4 hangers in my room. They say they are “pet friendly”, which is one reason I picked this hotel. But then they charge you 150$ plus tax non refundable pet fee. 😡 their check out time is 11am. Ridiculously early and if you request late checkout, you get the checkout time other hotels have for their normal checkout time. My card didn’t work in my door at 11:40 am when I had requested “late” checkout for 12 pm. So that was annoying, trying to get my luggage out of the room with it locked. The beds are comfy. It is clean. My room was quiet. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. Those are the positives.

Room Service was done every other day, we had to go to front desk to request if need additional service.

Property refused to clean my room after staying multiple nights. They will only provide you towels and cups, Gemini at the front desk advised me it is their policy that they only have to clean your room once even you stay multiple nights, i stayed 4 nights and my room was only cleaned once and the pillows were very uncomfortable, it was so hard to get a goodnights rest because of the pillows.

CHECK IN WAS SMOOTH AND THAT’S ALL! IF YOU AREN’T STAYING MORE THAN 3 DAYS, DONT EXPECT TO HAVE YOUR ROOM CLEANED OR FRESH TOWELS! IT WAS FOUR OF US STAYING IN A DOUBLE, THEY ONLY GAVE US 2 SETS OF TOWELS! WHEN YOU WANT NEW TOWELS YOU HAVE TO CARRY ALL YOUR DIRTY TOWELS TO THE FRONT DESK AND THROW THEM ON THE FLOOR BETWEEN THE REGISTERS (PER THE LADY ON NIGHT SHIFT)! HOT WATER BARELY GOT HOT FOR US! ALSO, IF YOU WEAR MAKEUP AND CLEAN YOUR FACE WITH THE TOWEL, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $20 FOR A DAMAGED TOWEL! WE WILL NOT BE STAYING BACK HERE!

Everything about our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The staff was so very kind. The room was very clean and we would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect for us as we were right in the middle of the various places and people that we intended to see while we were in Dallas

This property was pretty disappointing to be honest. The room was mostly clean when we arrived, and we were told we’d have housekeeping on our second morning. We were gone for the entire day, roughly 14 hours, and no one came to clean the room. At all. When we brought it to the attention of the staff, they didn’t care and were very rude. My husband had stopped to get a couple extra towels for showering (5 of us in the room), and they only had 3 when we checked in, so he knew we’d need a couple more. But when we got back and saw they didn’t clean, that meant they hadn’t replaced the towels. So I called for more, and she said no because she gave “the man staying with me” a couple of towels already, and we didn’t need that many. It was overall, an incredibly disappointing stay.

My only complaint, beds are very low and very soft!

The things i didn’t like was that the room was cleaned once every other day, and i was not told when i checked in to the hotel. I found a live couch roach in the room also.
