    Solo traveler here. Nice location, staff was accommodating, clean spacious room, but the only thing that was a negative was the poor air circulation in the room. The temperature was set to 64 and it did not feel like it at all. Kept waking up in a puddle of sweat. Not sure if I would book again because of that.

    Tv in first room before I asked to move was not acceptable. Bloodstains in sheets, tv did not work, view was as the tarred roof. And it was dark. 2nd room was better but my stay was a week and my room did not have a microwave. The other one did. Expensive eating out. Did not have free breakfast. Expensive breakfast. Not accommodating to the traveler for the high price of stay.

    Parking was horrible for our stay because there was a big wedding and the wedding guests took most of the parking. They had to move our rooms because the mirror light didn’t work which meant we would shower in the dark. The second room was worse in that the mini fridge didn’t work and the toilet ran all night.

    The air conditioning in 817 really wasn’t cooling down the room. Turn it down to 65 and it really never cooled off at all. Even turn down to 60 and still nothing. Like the blower stay on low when I had it on high.

    However, I had a huge problem with an issue that happened the day we checked in. I checked in 2 rooms at about 3:30 pm. No problems with check in. At about 10:45 pm my son who was in the second room with his wife came to tell us that they were getting calls from the front desk telling them that no one was supposed to be in that room and they needed to go down to the lobby. We called the lobby and were told that someone needed to go to the front desk because room 117 wasn't checked in. She was told that we had checked in 2 rooms at the same time, swiped a credit card for incidentals for both rooms and were in bed and not coming down. After about a 5 minute conversation the lady at the front desk said she remembered our check in and it must be a glitch with the system. She had our second room as being 210 instead of 117. My son went back to his room and his wife was very upset when he got there. She said that a man kept trying to get into her room while he was gone saying that she wasn't supposed to be in there. Luckily she had put the security latch in place when my son left the room. She was in her night clothes and was not going to let him in the room. I guess after we talked to the front desk they called security on the radio and told him it was all clear. My problem was not the "glitch" that happened, it was how it was handled.

    When we checked in Thursday 05/21/2026 at around 4:00pm, the young man let us stand there at the counter for about 2 minutes without even looking up from his computer to greet us or even speak to us, and we were the only people at the counter. I thought that was quite rude. We were grandparents in town for a graduation ceremony and he wasn’t very helpful. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that was not our problem.

    The elevator at one end of the hall didn't work and there was no sign saying they didn't. I told the fellow at the desk that it wasn't functioning and he said that elevator didn't work. I asked why no sign and he didn't seem to care.

    Overall, the building is quite old. It’s clean but shows signs of use over time. Not giving it 5 stars because they did not perform room service one of the days and when we went to the front desk, they stated that you have to request it in advance and it’s not done automatically which is not true at all (they later confirmed that the room service was in fact supposed to be done unless explicitly stated not to as with a do not disturb sign).

    Upon check-in the staff were cordial from the check in agent to the person cleaning the lobby. Friendly, cordial, and greets with a smile. The hotel is quite dated and looks like a property that is past it’s prime. The bathroom faucet fixture looked to have lime scale deposits on the open flow channel where the water channels out from. The carpet looks like straight up 90s Vegas, so if you’re into that, this is your place to be. Sorry, no strobe light or disco ball. This property carries the Doubletree name but it lags far behind other Doubletree locations when it comes to conditions. The cookies are still great, and it seems that the staff are trying their level best to make up for the shortcomings of the property conditions, and that alone is commendable.

    There’s no direct call to the lobby to reach a hotel clerk. I had to call the hotel off of my cell phone. The people next to me had a little kids up after 12:30 AM screaming and jumping as if it were 2:00 pm and dog was barking. Security did come up. I scanned the QR code on the TV to get the menu. A children’s menu came up and when me and my grandkids went downstairs to order they said that menu didn’t exist anymore and he handed me a menu that didn’t have options for kids. The hotel hallway smelled like marijuana. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy.

    I picked my room online and arrived to the property 4 hrs after check in time and the room was not prepared. I was then given a room that had a connected where the door wouldn't fully shut; the staff was accommodating once I went downstairs but the inconvenience was not pleasant. As a Honors member, I expect to have the room I pick especially when I arrive 4 hrs after check in time so 7pm to my reservation

    The manager was extremely unprofessional and rude. I am aware of courtesy check in before 12 o’clock is available if inquired and I did inquire the previous day before arrival. The manager’s name is VALERIE and she needs additional customer service training. The manager VALERIE did not greet us and had a sarcastic attitude when I explained that previously I can check in before 12 o’clock, she stated that there’s a $25 charge if we wanted to check in at 12:34 which is never been a case or issue.

    We arrived at the check-in counter at 4 p.m. to check in to our rooms, but we were informed that they weren’t ready yet and were being cleaned. After waiting for several minutes , I finally received my room key and went straight to my hotel bathroom. To my surprise, the toilet seat was covered in urine splatters. I asked the cleaning lady outside my room if she could clean it for me, and she grabbed a wet hand towel from her cart and wiped off the top of the toilet lid. Then, she raised the lid and used the same towel to wipe all the urine from the seat. She didn’t use any cleaner or disinfectant spray. Both bathrooms, floors, and showers were covered in mold and hair. The floors were so dirty that we couldn’t even walk on them after taking a shower. My sister and I have stayed at several DoubleTree Hotels in the past, and we’ve never had this experience. The photos that were presented online that made us think it was the same hotel were actually a completely different hotel. On Google, the breakfast was shown to cost $11.00, but in the breakfast room, it was much more expensive, $18.99. As of now, we don’t plan to stay at this particular hotel in the future.

    The staff is always helpful and friendly. The room was clean, I've stayed here several times and it has always been consistent. This time there were a few things that turned me off. The bathroom sink, smelled like the drain needed to be cleaned. When the water ran it let off a gross septic water smell. One of the wall plugs by the TV didn't work so I had to drag the ironing board over to the bed. What bothered me the most is that the restaurant in the hotel charged $18.95 for breakfast which was the exact same continental breakfast that you can get at many other hotels for free. It was a buffet style breakfast with eggs, bacon, pancakes, a waffle maker and some fruit and yogurt. There was no service at the table, I got the food myself and it was about as good as you'd expect for food that had been sitting out in heating dishes and then when the bill came there was an option to tip someone who made it all possible although I never saw that person. Mid grade at best and definitely not worth $18.95. I'll consider other hotel options next time

    No, I was told one thing by the rep who shared he called the hotel and it was okay for my grandson to check in around 4am and clock out at 11am the same day, paying for the full day. He just need a few hours of sleep. He arrived at the hotel and was told they couldn’t check him in unless he paid for two days which he didn’t need because his air bnb would be ready for check in at 4pm that same day. We were on the phone for 2 hours and went to 3 locations before he was driven a room after being on the highway 9 hours. I was really embarrassed and upset as I am a travel professional and was called to assist

The next day was blowing hot air out of the vents for the majority of the night, I woke up sweating numerous nights unfortunately.     I stayed at the Double tree for a good minute. However, upon waking up on the day after Christmas, 12/16/2025, I could barely breathe, skin irritated and my throat was closing up. I decided to check my sheets and I pulled back the covers and saw mold through the see through white comforters. No, I did not just hop in the bed. I have sent Fitz an email and heading to the emergency room for a check up. On the previous stay, my neighbor hotel mate had to be escorted out of their hotel room into an ambulance. Please be careful where you lay your head anywhere!

    We reserved 2 rooms. Upon check in, a mistake was made by the front desk. Even though we had been issued keys for both rooms, the hotel only had us registered in one. Blamed it on 3rd party reservation. They send security up at 1130 PM wanting to know who was in the room that they hadn’t registered. This was a handicap room for my son who is in a wheelchair….the rooms were adjoining. I went down to the desk to straighten this out. They acknowledged it was their fault and not ours. Said the manager would address the next day. Did not happen and manager never on site when I was in hotel. I asked multiple times day 2 and 3. We left on day 4. Housekeeping never cleaned this room, in spite of multiple requests. The night staff stated they passed up as they could not fix the problem. They passed up to the manager. I have yet to hear from anyone. My son requires extra attention and needs extra towels/ sheets etc. Since no one ever serviced the room, I had to go down each night for towels and linens…I feel like I got ripped off actually.

    Was here with our soccer team for the weekend. When we entered the room it was uncomfortably hot. It was mid day and warm outside but this room felt musty and stale. Luckily we were just dropping off our things, we adjusted AC, returned a few hours later and no change. Went to front desk and maintenance serviced it but they still nicely offered another room. It was cooler but there was still a staleness to the room. It was not only us but two others from the team had the same issue. We're traveling back to Dallas in a few weeks and WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE

    The toilet didnt want to flush because of back pressure. The curtain didnt close all the way so we got light from the lobby coming in. There was like a 3 inch gap on our door so light coming in from the hallway. The door that connects the other room to ours was unlocked and cracked open. 221 definitely needs a makeover.     there was garbage left behind from the previous guest, I guess. The glass in the bar are in the bathroom. I don’t know where was supposed to be, but it was at the foot of the couch. Definitely not where I was supposed to be. So what else wasn’t attended to?

    I arrived late at night and the lady working. The front desk was extremely friendly. The only complaint I would have is that in the room even though I turned the air down it never got cold in there, which made it difficult to sleep.

    Hotel is in nice location, easy in easy out. Breakfast is a littl pricey but good. People are friendly. My only complaint is my room never got cold enough. Was set to 60 but never got that cold or even close. Ended sleeping on top of the blankets.

    The staff was rude and sketchy from the time I checked in. I asked for a higher floor but was told the room I booked was available on floors 3 on down. There was banging coming from the walls in all directions, doors slamming throughout the night, people yelling, etc. I finally woke up around 7am to go talk to staff and I expressed my concerns and bad experience but was ignored.

    We did not expect daily room service, but it was much appreciated. Except the last service did not include coffee pods, stir sticks. We ran down to the dining room for coffee. Can't pack up without coffee.

    The front desk staff were great and friendly. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. I am not sure why, but was placed in a handicap room. The bathroom floor definitely needed a good mopping and the water pressure in the shower was not good. It was disappointing as the rating did not match the experience.

    I did a late check in after 12 at mid night. I’ve called the hotel reception and informed that I will be late. They have said, I can come anytime I want and thanks for letting us know. They were very co-operative and helpful. Check-in process was also very quick and smooth. Nice experience.

    Check in was good. Bed was too soft with a body outline in the mattress. Bathroom was clean and towels were clean. My biggest complaint is the breakfast, over cooked, hard, and cold hash browns. Eggs were watery and sausage had a weird flavor. For $20 per plate, I would have expected better quality food. We had 5 people eating. This was nothing but an over priced continental breakfast.     My stay was good. My favorite hotel. But Hotel.com drop the ball on my reservation. I had to wait 2 hours going back and forth with them because they messed my reservation.I will not go through Hotels. Com again.I never had issues before.     The pool was nice, however the air conditioner noise made conversation difficult. Towels were hit or miss. Our handicap access room was nice however the room was not near the elevator. The ice machine only worked on a couple of floors, again additional navigation for ice for the room. The safe was not working but the property engineer repaired it.

    I think they were have problems with their AC unit! The first day my room was not cool. Call downstairs and maintenance did come but said the output at 58 Or somewhere close to that. There was no my room was that cold! Room was hot all night! The next night it was a little better.

    The room was so so, kinda dark and not well lit. Also, I couldn't get the AC to really work right...had the temp down to 63 but, the room never really cooled off good. Not sure if it just wasn't working or the thermostat wasn't working. Not saying it was bad, just not really up to Double Tree standards in my opinion.

    We walked down the hall to our room, it looked like a hospital hallway except dirty and dingy. I've stayed at many double trees before, this is the first time I've ever walked out the hotel and changed hotels. They had music playing in the halls that was just as loud in your room. Which you could also hear everyone on the entire floor in your room also, including the dogs barking in the rooms. If you are hunting clean or quiet, this is definitely not your place. When we walked out, we turned our keys in ( at night, a day early) they asked if we were leaving. I told them yes, they had no questions including asking about our stay, just have a good night and got back to talking to their friends they had hanging out at the desk.

    I liked the cleanliness. I think there should be plastic classes in the bathroom and room. There is no place for a night lite, the bathroom lights are all on 1 switch so it's either bright or dark. No pen or small paper pad to write on. No make-up remover pad. Drapes were off the rod several places. Just not up to Hilton standards.

    It was nice, i usually book laquinta but when i want an upper scale stay i have booked doubletree three times now and a pending stay in Houston for a concert. Parking was tight and a garbage or backed up sewer smell by elevator was the only bad thing i can say.

    Quick check in. Easy service. The kitchen allowed me to order with 10 minutes to spare until closing. I didn’t care for the chicken meal with veggies I ordered (can’t recall the name.) The wings were delish! Loveddddd the shower!! Good n hot how I like it. Complementary toiletries smelled nice.
