The hotel is run by 2 warm, welcoming and beautiful sisters that couldn't do enough to make our stay any better, the location to the beach and Rhodes Old Town was really good and the restaurants around the hotel were great. There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel, staff and location, we hope to be returning to The Svea Hotel soon along with exploring the beautiful Rhodes Old Town more.

The personnel were very professional, friendly and helpful. Irene in particular was helpful and generous. Thanks to all who made my stay so comfortable. I think it would be good to have an area of the dining space that is smoke free. The fans on the terrace blow cigarette smoke around the terrace.

A delightful hotel to stay in. From the warm welcome on arrival our week long stay was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Everything was very clean, and the varied breakfast was good. October is a good time to visit, the weather is perfect. The location is great, it's like a village, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. The beach is only ten minutes walk away, the old town about twenty minutes, and the central bus terminal less than fifteen minutes. This hotel is highly recommended, and excellent value for money. Thank you Svea Hotel for your excellent hospitality! At this price point everything is good.

The hotel was close to a variety of restaurants in a busy area near the beach. The staff were helpful and informative and gave us a welcome drink upon arrival. The room was clean. The twin beds were ok. The morning breakfast had the same basic items of toast, jam, fruit, OJ and coffee or tea with a different main each day, and I really liked the gentleman who served us every morning. He was friendly and engaging. The pizza I had there for dinner was really good! The room was small. The laundry detergent was overpowering and caused an allergic reaction/asthma attack. We moved the comforters out to the balcony but it was still strong. The area felt very touristy and I was not thrilled with the very windy beach. The other side of the island has the better beaches.

This hotel is a gem. I was warmly received by hotel personal, and they saw to it that I had a great stay. The location is fantastic - close to beaches, old town and transport. My room was bright, spotless and cleaned daily. I couldn't imagine a better place for a stay in Rhodos!

The hotel was in an area with plenty of places to eat and was a short walk from the coast. The room and the bathroom was a very good size. Cleaned daily. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and always welcoming. At night it was a bit noisy ( so bring earplugs)

Staff is so friendly and welcome us with a drink. Quite clean facilities. The restaurant downstairs serves great breakfast and food in general. Due to the location, it gets somehow noisy.

The hotel has a great location, about a 10-minute walk from both the city center, old town, and about 5 minutes from the beach. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. They provided even extra breakfast one morning. Breakfast included every morning coffee/tea, juice, some small bowl of fresh fruit, jam with toast, and a main breakfast dish which varied every day. If you wanted they cleaned the room every day, changing both the sheets and the towels. The room has air conditioning. Overall it was a good stay, with great value for the price. Comparing how nice the room was, the bathroom could use a renovation.

Room was very clean, air conditioner and refrigerator was working very good, there is hot water all the time, they make up room daily, owner is a very kind person and let me check in early, also kept my luggage after check out, place is very close to restaurants and supermarkets and beach. So all in all it was perfect!

Hotel staff and location are very good, The furniture in the room is old and dirty stained. The cafe where we take the breakfast is also in the bad situation with old furnitures, dirty areas etc,
