Great location for a fully adequate beach hotel staffed by friendly folks at the front desk and in the halls.

The best aspects of the hotel: convenient location and friendly front desk staff. Also nice to be on the "lake view" side (a misnomer, as the lake cannot be seen, but it is off that side of the building) which was pretty quiet and afforded a view of nature on the other side of the street from the room's balcony. The hotel is pretty clean, though not consistently (eg: bathroom near lobby). There is an extra daily $10 "amenities fee" which is not reflected in the daily price, nor is the tax (11%). The taxes and fees= an extra 14% over the base price. Overall, it is a quite expensive stay for what is provided. The most disappointing aspect of this hotel is its pitiful breakfast. The coffee: abominable. Offerings were: plain mini bagels, boiled eggs, Cheerios, milk, canned OJ, and blueberry yogurt (1st day only). No fruits, little variety. Supposedly muffins are an offering, but we just saw 1 person with 1 muffin on Day 1. The worst part is that since most everything is in individual prepackaged servings, the hotel is paying top dollar for very mediocre breakfast options (at best). Being familiar with food service, the fact is that a greater variety of options and a better breakfast with fresh fruit could be provided with less waste (& much greater environmental sustainability) for the same or even a lower cost (and the food service worker could be kept busier and be more on top of things, spending less time in the kitchen on the phone). Just an observation and suggestion :-)

We have been staying here for years. Great location. Never a problem with the staff or cleanliness. I book it for the location and the breakfast but the breakfast has really gotten skimpy and skimpy over the years. That's my only complaint

Room ( 2 queen) was reasonably spacious, safe available, and balcony had 2 chairs. Demerits: sheets thin and uncomfortable lumpy pillows.Bathroom was cramped. Nowhere to hang wet towels . Fridge not very cold. Breakfast was all paper and cardboard .. everything pre-packaged. Paid extra to check in an hour earlier than 4 pm. On the good side; allowed to park there 2 hrs after checkout and also have use of bathroom and shower in the exterior of the property. Market forces at play of course but room rates seemed high for the property.

This was our second stay here. The first time was amazing which is why I booked here a second time. However I was very disappointed at check-in when I was told that they were short staffed and my room wasn’t ready, and they had no ETA of when it would be ready because they “still needed to wash and dry the sheets”. For $300 a night I would like to check-in promptly at 4pm and not be inconvenienced by the fact that you are short staffed. Then I was told that they would not do anything to compensate customers for the inconvenience. I was very disappointed this time.

The staff was kind. We were able to check in after the usual check in cuff offs at other hotels. We enjoyed the view from our balcony, cleanliness of each part of the property, parking ease, good quality fast breakfast options and impeccable staff! We will be back!

The room was exactly what was needed. Clean and peaceful. Staff was super helpful and pool was well kept

Loved that this place was a short walk to the beach and the main strip. The room was clean and had a fridge and microwave, which was very convenient. There was lots of free parking with a permit. The pool is on the top floor and after a day in the sun is wonderfully warm. The bed was on the firm side but the pillows were fluffy and nice. Really enjoyed my time staying here.

The only downside is that the breakfast doesn’t have too many options.

In general after Covid and the emergence of home rentals the hotel industry is not the same.

Wifi was slow, expecting nice breakfast but it’s only muffins, bagels, boiled eggs and cereals. Overall the location is nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Staff at the front desk were friendly and when we needed maintenance in a previous trip, they were also very helpful. Breakfast is underwhelming but the coffee is good and hot.
