Tv was missing, pillows had no pillow cases, floor was slimy, dirty, and damp...very uncomfortable, but I had no other choice. While the front desk was as helpful as she could be, I will not be back. I stayed there last year, and it was great. I feel I am due a refund.

Staff was extremely nice and professional; however, our room was not great! The beds were very comfortable; there was no shower curtain, there were no hand towels, only two bath towels and one washcloth. The biggest issue was that one light switch controlled everything except the refrigerator and microwave. We had to sleep with the lights on, because when you turned it off, it also turned off the TV and all of the outlets. In other words, we could not charge any phones.

Very disappointed with my experience. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t check in because we were wearing swimsuits. We left, changed clothes, and came back, but our stay was still denied. Since we weren’t planning to stay elsewhere in Alabama, this completely disrupted our trip. To make matters worse, our reservation was never canceled by the hotel, which made it difficult for us to get a refund we couldn’t even get it . Better communication and customer service would have made a huge difference. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Checked in late at night and as soon as we opened the door to our room it smelled like a sour mop mixed with bleach. My six year old daughter slipped and fell on the floor as it was wet. I tried drying the floor when one of the bathroom towels and it was immediately black fr grime. The floor had a sheen of grime that never dried. It felt like the floor was damp all night. It was utterly disgusting. I was also overcharged from my guaranteed rate from hotels.com. The lady at the desk was helpful to get that corrected, staff was friendly. The property was not, the issue above along with marijuana smoke in the hallways was enough for me to never consider this property again.

We had now shower curtain. The bathroom has motion lights, turn off in the middle of a bath. Hotel smelled horrible in the halls.

Room was not clean at check-in. Someone had been on the bed & it was a mess. Dirty sheets in a laundry basket sitting on the counter. Floor was soaked. Looked like some dried weeds or something on rhe counter as well as a cigarette lighter. Door to room was not even closed when we arrived. No one was at the front desk to move us to another room. Called & the clerk had to go back to the office to see if another room was available. She moved us to a room below the first room. It was a loud night. People were stomping around & moving furniture right above our heads. Not a good experience at all.

I found it ridiculous that it took an hour to check in when I had already booked and paid online, yet when we arrived the staff was on the phone and never acknowledged us for over 20 minutes. Another staff member came into work and took over and we finally got checked in. I rented 3 rooms and the room my mother was in had not been mopped as there were spots all over the floor and there was food in the microwave on a plate from a fast food establishment. Our room was a bit hard to figure out the outlets, tv, and lights connection and the light in the bathroom would not stay on so we took showers in the dark. LoL. Our room and our boys room was clean and the beds did sleep very well. We were there for 1 night for our oldest son's wedding. Being a new hotel I never dreamed we would have so many issues. No hairdryer either, but the staff was kind to get us one. Not sure why it was not in the room, but it was quickly brought to our room. It was not a terrible stay, but checking in was ridiculous. I have never stayed anywhere in my 57 years that did not have staff the the front desk, however when I had called that early morning no one answered the phone for over 2 hours. Then when I stopped by on my way in town, finally got someone to the desk and was told they were all busy and didn't have a staff at the desk consistently. Just a strange situation but "ok " afterall.

I requested an extra night in the same room, but they moved me to a different room, and I had to pay for two nights—even though the second-to-last night had already been paid for when I checked in.

One of the biggest issues anyone in the hospitality industry knows is getting good-quality people to do quality work... They will make you or break you. Even though the room was a very up-to-date hotel room, the people assigned to keeping it clean and tidy had a lot to be desired... They made up the bed and cleaned the toilet.... But the sink and the shower were dirty... In fact, the shower was filthy; it was full of hair and still had a ring where the previous person had showered. The floors were dirty... No one swept under anything, nor did they get out but dirt, trash, and debris from the corners and edges, and behind the door. I will say this... I did not find any dust, which was a good thing. Given the current hourly team, my suggestion is that you inspect your room before paying for it. Please don't get me started on the fire alarm... It started going off during this stay, around 10:00 or so, I did not stop fully until after 12:45, almost 1:00 a.m. ... Don't get me wrong, maintenance was trying to fix this problem, whatever it was... But it was, I think, for a short time.

They do not replace towels, fire alarm went off at midnight and we stood outside for an hour just to find out it was a false alarm. $150 a night! Definitely gonna stay somewhere else next time.

Make sure you take towels and toilet paper with you. You cannot get any more IF you even have any in your room when you get there. Fire alarm went off half the night our first night and they wouldn’t even acknowledge a credit because the fire alarm malfunction is “an act of nature”. Also floors were awful. Sticky and nasty. We travel alot and stay at a lot of hotels and have never experienced something this awful. And there is nothing on the site saying all this and person working does not tell you. Definitely do not recommend at all!

Staff were very rude! We had two beds with four people. There were two towels and two dirty wash cloths when we checked in. Notified the front desk and we’re told that is what they supply for our room. Front desk did not care to try to solve the problem. Floors were sticky. Will not stay here again when traveling this area !!!

No iron. No staff after 9pm til 9am. No breakfast.

When checking in we were informed they had 1 room and down graded us to a double room which was $49 dollars cheaper than what we paid for a king room. Did not offer to adjust the cost and said it was that or we had no room. Said rooms are first come first serve. Not sure how that is if you book online. It’s an ok place to land for the night but you may not get the room you pay for or one at all.
