La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pearland - Houston South

Our room smelled like damp carpet. The facilities were old and understaffed, and the gym was out of service. They offer "pool towels," but they really look like handkerchiefs or hand towels. The breakfast was decent, limited but good. I wouldn't stay here again. Perhaps it was my fault for expecting something grand, but overall, the basics fell far short.

Very peaceful, clean & quiet, Only thing I didn’t like was the people who came outside at the pool when I was with my family because they were smoking.

I stayed there 3 nights and my room was never cleaned, they claimed It was because I added 2 extra days and they only clean every 3 days of staying there, other than that everything was nice

The cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was well set up and delicious. Great place in a good location.

The breakfast was a nice hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy eggs, sausage, and waffles plus bagels, fruit, yogurt and granola. The staff was very nice and accommodating. AC worked great with our room down to 62 at night! Room was spacious and the King bed was very comfortable

I was in a bad situation with my home life and I had nowhere to go, but fortunately this place I could call home for about a week until my apartment was ready. I want to thank them so much they did.

Been staying at this hotel for the past 15 years. Our last visit will probably be our last. Outside was recently cleaned up, painted and looked good. Inside of the building is past due for updates. Doors around the facility are in need of painting/replacing. Our room showed alot of wear and tear (rusty hinges, bathtub damage, etc.) A lot of patching, but not much repair going on. The bathroom faucet appeared to have a textured finish, but it was actually the chrome finish delaminating. An electric outlet was not working in the breakfast area, but they had a toaster plugged into that outlet. We were told that internal remodeling was scheduled for later this year.

Breakfast was great, everything was fresh. Our room was very nice, this is our second stay at this La Quinta and we love it here. The staff, especially the front desk clerk Ms. Joyce was fantastic!. She was very friendly, offered room suggestions, just an overall nice person and she smiled all the time, letting us know she loves her job. I have double knee replacements so I couldn't get in the hot tub, but my daughter had a great time in the hot tub! Parking was great also, not too many guests and we love that this La Quinta is close to many restaurants, Walmart, HEB, and medical clinics and hospitals.

Location was good. Close to business center. The hallway leading to the room was dirty and musky. The room had a very strong odor of urine and smoke. We asked for another room and the 2nd room was worse with odor of urine smoke and vomit.

Hotel staff was very accommodating when we needed to stay an extra night (we got a decent rate and same room) - dont forget about the pool and hot tub (my daughters favorite part of the stay) - will definitely stay here again when visiting Houston - La Quinta didnt disappoint!!!!!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Almost always parking close to the entrance available. Room cleaning only every 3 days. Coffee was good at first but the last week they changed it and it was not as good anymore.

The hotel, staff, amenities are all Excellent in Review! Ms. Joyce is one of the most caring individuals and she always made sure that I receive what needed for My stay. I Definitely would recommend this Hotel!

Receptonist was very helpful in problem solving. We complained of construction noise adjacent to our room into the night, crew putting in new flooring. She changed our room the next day and apoligized for the noise.

Maybe if I had one pet peeve to pick it would be that the toilet in the room kept getting stopped up with the toilet paper that they use just seemed like it wasn’t enough water in the toilet

I like the location being off the freeway. Much quieter location. Bonus it was not near the water treatment plant on Shadow Creek Parkway I would like to be asked if I mind an adjoining room Traveling alone I don’t like that door being there.

Right when I walked into the bathroom there was a small roach in the bath tub. The TV was weird. When I first turned it on it took a long time for it to get connected to the internet/cable and only had static instead of the sound. After some time then you could hear the movie. Internet was extremely slow. Carpet in elevator and room needs to be updated. Place smelled clean just didn’t feel clean.

No issues, quiet hotel. They have a 24 hr fitness room, guest laundry and an outside pool. Breakfast was fine (and free). They also have free coffee 24/7 in the lobby. The room itself was run down. Lamp shades were broken, also when we turned on the faucet and shower, the water came out brown. It was concerning, and we didn’t feel comfortable using it. Hopefully this has been addressed, but it did affect our stay. Won’t be back

I booked for 4 days stay ! First room we got the AC was not working. The new room the toilet won’t flush. Front Desk JOYCE was very very nice and fixed toilet .. The room had a smell, Wet carpet smell . Every time we came back to room it smelled. I bought air fresheners to help with smell. The attendants were very nice and helpful when we had to switch rooms due to faulty air conditioning. Also only one old washer and one old dryer were available and they were pay only. The breakfast was below average but place was clean.

This hotel smells very musky. We were here for a softball tournament and one of our coaches beds had a fresh urine stain on it, bed bugs on one of the beds and the bathroom was filthy! Terrible experience and terrible staff members. When asked about getting something cleaned up we were told they don’t have enough staff to do that.

The night girl Michelle was horrible at front desk went up to complain of dogs that wouldn’t stop barking next to us and the cleanliness of hotel she walked off on me after she gave me attitude and was ugly with not just me but also other people complaining of dirty toilets, bed bugs. One of our coach’s had a big pee stain under their sheets you can see and smelled horrible. This hotel was by far probably the worse hotel I have ever stayed and the night staff was horrible I can go on and on about this place and was only given an email to complain they would not call management. Spoke with girl before checkout she just said sorry and that was it no compensation or anything when we had a whole team staying.

It was a decent stay. Pretty quiet. It’s a little old, but still pretty good. Convenient location, with decent nearby food options. Room phone did not work and they did not clean everyday. Bed was comfortable and the air worked great which is important to me.

Hot tub wasn't working, tv wasnt hooked up with the proper HDMI cord so the tv wouldnt work.

The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned. We saw stains and hair left behind. Other that that, our room was comfortable and clean. Breastfast was prepared on time. We enjoyed our stay overall.

The walls were paper thin. Heard neighbors snoring for 4 days straight. Had a weird smell like mildew and mold. Bugs in bathroom. Very old hotel don’t be fooled by photos

I would never come here again. You have to request towels, request for them to empty the trash in your room, the staff isn’t friendly when you ask questions very snappy, and I had to wait until the next day after checkout time to receive towels. Making me hours behind to return home. Never again.

Condition of the room was unexpected. Smell of urine, water statins in ceiling probably from a leak, same as in the bathroom…tub was dirty, insects came out of drain, mildew smell in the room. Totally unacceptable. We quickly checked out, but was charged for 1 night that we didn’t stay in. Owners/management definitely need to revamp cleanliness and not treat as a stop in or out.

The staff was excellent as they catered to my needs. The room was noisy as the heater was loud, you could hear the next door TV, you could hear the talking from at least two maybe three doors down and heard snoring at night. Overall the stay was ok but the rooms need more insulation to cover the noise but I am sure this is not an option.

The hotel was ok it needs to be updated and the carpets need to be cleaned in the rooms we had an evasion of lady bugs and we had to ask for fresh towels daily you would think for a 4 day stay they would freshen the room and take the trash but we ended up placing it outside the door as I hate to have to do that!

Room are not well maintained. Bath Tub had grime on it and also had rust stains. Rooms had a once over but not clean. I used the phone to call the front desk and it was sticky, very disgusting. In general things where run down. I also saw a cockroach.

The only problem I had with this hotel is that I heard the bed of a room next door all night. It was like it was a Brothel. There was only four or five minutes and sometimes ten minutes until it would start again. I recorded it and complained to management. They gave me a coupon for 50% off the next time although I don’t think I will be going back. I didn’t sleep that night. Also, there is no free mini bar like it says.

Everyone in the hotel was friendly. But there was a huge cockroach in the bathroom and I was panicked the whole night worrying if there was more.

GOOD ALL AROUND, AND THE STAFF WAS GOOD/welcoming.

They had issues with the television. We had no tv for a day of stay so we had to leave for entertainment

clean and quiet, very comfortable sufficient breakfast that saves you around $15 per person instead of eating out close to everything that you could need. shopping, restaraunts, fast food , medical offices and urgent care

Chair in the room was full of stains. Bulbs in the night lights did not. Shower exhaust did not work. Bathroom towels had stains.

I liked the hospitality

Abundant of restaurants within walking distance. Ist room was on the 3rd floor room had a mildew musty smell to it. Notified the front desk.Moved to the 1st floor room wasn't too much better. Was getting ready to check out and noticed the back door doesn't close.Anyone can just walk in!

The beds were the main factor. Firm and high off the floor and very comfortable. Breakfast was not too good, but it was enough to get your day started. All of the desk clerks were wonderful. I would recommend LA Quintagorany stay.

Plenty of carts to help you move in. The breakfast was good but the eating area can get crowded. The ice machine on the third floor was empty so I had to go down to the first floor for ice. Staff very friendly and helpful.
