Senetan Villas and Spa Resort

This place is just awesome if you are looking for a traquil hotel away from the main routes where you can just chill, relax, meditate, read a book etc. It's a good spot for daily excursions to most sites in this part of Bali, e.g. Ubud or Mount Batur. The staff is super friendly, they help you with pretty much everything you need, from organizing a day trip to ironing board to a massage on site. The villas are surrounded by a wall of natural forest, it's simply amazing.

Amazing environment, really nice rooms, staff was helpful and kind. The wifi is really unstable. They did the best to try to fix it for us but it was never reliable. If I didn't have my own 5G SIM I wouldn't be able to do video calls.

Peaceful, clean and incredibly friendly and amazing staff. It was a nice oasis away from the chaos. Small shower issue that will be resolved as I was in a new room. These things are understandable when newly built.

The concept is great, however, facilities are dated and need maintenance. Having no doors made me feel insecure for the kids.

The staff well above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. They also arranged ATV and river rafting package for us at a very good rate and allowed us to come back and shower even beyond the checkout time. We liked everything and especially the accommodative nature and politeness of the front desk and the staff in the restaurant.

Cool location, the villa itself was gorgeous, great staff and amenities. Felt like I was transported to another world. The only thing I didn’t like is it was a long drive to get to places we want to go. But the hotel had a shuttle into Ubud and it was still easy to book transportation.

We had a wonderful stay in a villa with a private pool and impeccable service. Cleanliness, surroundings, and tranquility — everything came together to make it a fantastic experience. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are incredibly attentive. We can only recommend spending some time here to relax, away from the world, in harmony with the rhythm of the jungle.

The location of the property is excellent. It is a bit far from the city area, but if you are looking for a relaxing, calming place to stay with sprawling space and greenery then this is definitely the place for you. Dewi, the manager of the place is amazing. Overall, all the staff and people who work here are really warm and friendly.

Just the water pressure at the shower wasn't good but everything else is well.

I very rarely leave reviews, but Senetan Villas deserves a big shout out. We have just come back after a full blissful week in one of their private villas. Staying at this private villa was nothing short of magical—truly a dream come true. Nestled deep in the serene Bali jungle, it felt like we had our own hidden sanctuary. The peace and quiet were unmatched, broken only by the gentle sounds of nature. It was the perfect escape from the world. The villa itself was impeccably clean (despite being in the jungle with an open bathroom) and to our surprise, completely mosquito-free—a rarity in such a lush setting. Every corner of the space felt thoughtfully designed and meticulously maintained. The bed was absolutely massive and incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave each morning. The staff fulfilled my request to add a mosquito net around our bed from the very first night, which gave me extra peace of mind. We landed very late but the staff stayed awake and still welcomed us with big smiles, a much needed refreshing welcome-drink, flower necklaces and even complimentary sandwiches after a 25h long journey from home! So thoughtful. One of the highlights was the stunningly large pool, completely private and surrounded by greenery. We spent hours floating, unwinding, and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. The food was excellent—every meal was a delight, beautifully presented and full of flavor. And so many choices, there truly is something for everyone. We ate there for 8 days and not a single issue in case you are worried about Bali-belly. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at home. Their warmth and attention to detail made this experience unforgettable. Our biggest shout out goes to Diani!!! If you’re looking for complete privacy, luxury, and a peaceful retreat in nature, this villa is everything and more. We can’t wait to return. We loved everything!!! If I had to be extremely picky, I would say that the WI-FI could have been a bit faster, but you are there to relax, not to work, hopefully!!

Location, site layout and helpfulness of the staff. The food offering did not match the overall quality of the establishment. I would have expected a choice of coffees at breakfast; fresh bakery pastries and breads (not supermarket purchases). Our villa (c) was in reasonably good condition but others needed a little bit of a makeover.

breakfast is delicious, service is exceptional. perfect place to unwind, relax, chill by the private pool wifi is terrible, room TV is old school, not smart TV, hair dryer is super low air, should upgrade the toiletries.
