Comfort Hotel Shin-Osaka

Near Shin Osaka station but not too crowded. The breakfast was quite good and no pork, so it is moslem friendly. I don’t know about the sausage because no information about it. Maybe better if the ingredient was stated. No conbini near hotel

The property is conveniently located near Shin-Osaka station, so it is easy to take a train to any desired location. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very kind and attentive to guests and their needs.

Close to station, easy to check in.comfy beds, minimal train noise, close to 7-11 Not many places to eat unless you walk to shin osaka station restaurants. The breakfast in hotel was mediocre. Watery eggs. Bland flavors.

Breakfast and amenities was excellent. Both Japanese and Western breakfast is served. Location is perfect. If you have a room on top of the building, you don’t hear train passing by (or get used to it by the next day). Staff is smiling and always helpful.

Comfort Hotel is trying to compete with Toyoko Inn. In general room is slightly better, than in Toyoko, bathroom better too. But breakfast is not so good. Dishes do not vary and are made mostly of canned products. Location is very well for logistics to major tourist sites, but place is between two railways and you can hear trains passing by, however windows are rather noise-protected. If breakfast is sufficient for that value, I recommend Toyoko Inn, however a lot of places around to have a snack.

Very close to the train station so it very convenient to travel quickly to other locations. Wish there was a microwave other than the one lobby/dining area.

We did not like the room at all and the location, but we can say the staff in this hotel are 100% amazing. We ended up liking our stay because we were treated very nicely, they made us feel relaxed, they even gave us recommendation! What a wonderful people. It's a pretty standard room, you can hear the train all night, it's a long walk from the train station, plus dragging suitcase it's not ideal. the bed is very uncomfortable, it feels like plastic. nothing around. it's just a normal neighborhood, no konbini nearby.

Great location, close to the Shin-Osaka station (where you ride both the Shinkansen to other cities and the Midosuji subway line which you use to get into the main Osaka area). I would choose this area over Namba or Umeda due to how easy it is to commute and it's also much less crowded. Great for using as a base when you want to visit other nearby areas (Himeji, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara). Staff were the highlight as they were always very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and were cleaned everyday (unless you opt out), the size was great even for two people with big luggage - the layout of the room allows you to move stuff around like the table and chairs to make space for your things. Breakfast everyday is included, and there's a cafe space where you can eat your own food or just hang out. Wifi is also provided, with a laundry (coin operated) on-site. Nothing really stands out as "not liked". This is Japan so don't expect some American style hotel room in terms of size. Note to other travellers - you're in Asia so expect Asian-sized spaces. Even given that, the room is a very good size (we had the Queen bed which was an actual Queen size).

Staff super friendly and very helpful. Close to Shin Osaka station, easy walk. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. The breakfast area was great to sit and relax or plan the day. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The room is bigger than in Shinjuku hotel where I stayed. The room is clean. Near to the train station Shin Osaka Train Station. Be coming here in the near future.

Location was nice... close to Shin-Osaka Station because my itinerary involved a lot of walking and travelling. It's also in a quiet neighborhood (besides of the trains below the hotel, but it's ok for me). There's also a laundromat and other amenities (Macs / Lawson / 7-11) within walking distance. Lack of amenities in room. I thought they had shaving kit, but they didn't, and luckily, i brought mine... just in case.. Breakfast could have more selection though, like a menu on every 1,3,5,7 days, and another menu of 2,4,6 days. Currently it's almost the same everyday. Wi-fi connection in the room wasn't really good, so i was glad i had a portable wi-fi with me as a traveler

Very central but not extremely expensive. The staff was very friendly and the self checking availability convenient.
