The breakfast was pretty incredible compared to most. I’d list it all but it would take a while. The sweet lady attending to the breakfast area was a doll.

Clean property but pool was closed. I think my room 230 was by the equipment closet. Lots of slamming doors, hearing sliding doors or drawers, walking like elephants from midnight-1:30. Very irritating!! Room doors automatically slam. Hard to close them quietly.

Waited for 20 minutes and all was put out was a little bacon and 4 omelettes. Around 9:30 the employee started cleaning up. Thursday and Friday breakfast was excellent and everything was full.

Really nice stay, room didn’t stay cool long but everything else made up for it. The lady I’m charge of the breakfast area is always wonderful and very welcoming.

I highly recommend this hotel. It's newer, clean, Gabby at the front desk is great, and the lady that takes care of the breakfast butfet was the best I've seen at her job in years.

There was no water besides a water fountain even at the breakfast..

Staff was great, unfortunately remodel was in progress so we didn’t get to dine in the new area. They accommodated us nicely in an area for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Location The breakfast could be improved - and not just at this location. sort of across the board.

Very nice hotel! Loved the bed, pillows, keurig, Everything about this hotel is awesome. They are doing some first floor renovations in the breakfast area, but they have breakfast set up in a meeting room. The only thing that would have made this better is Expedia NOT charging $6 for FREE parking. Kind of a crappy thing to do.

Great overnight stay. Ive stayed here before. The guy at the front desk could speak a little clearer but all in all, nothing negative to say about this hotel. Its my go to stop in odessa.

Water pressure was terrible and there was almost nothing left at breakfast with still 30 minutes left until it closed. The staff refused to put more out when asked.

Upon entering the Hotel the lobby and public area were very nice. The room was an average mildly run down hotel in West Texas. There was an odd smell when entering the room, but not bad enough to leave. There was a thick layer of dust stuck to the walls in the room. The small refrigerator in the room didn’t work. The bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. The beds were not very comfortable and the furniture was starting to fall apart. The breakfast lady was absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make sure our family’s breakfast went well. For the price it was ok and did the job.

Nice room, spacious and clean. A couple of extra towels, only two for two people, would have been nice. Usual breakfast choices. The elevators were not working, things like this happen once in a while, but better preventive maintenance might have prevented this.

Place was fine, but shower needed cleaning.

Everything was great except when I asked for a spare key, it was programmed incorrectly. I didn’t find out Neil hours later when I tried the use it. The clear k that reprogrammed never apologized for inconvenience and attitude during the entire process left something to be desired.

I was traveling alone and felt very comfortable and had a great night's sleep.

This was a horrible hotel, the room was dirty. The bed was rock hard and pillows very flat. The shower had lots of mildew on the grout. We used the iron, there was something burnt on. The ironing board had tons of burn stains and dirty. Staff was not friendly or very knowledgeable about tax exemption. I would have given them a zero out of five if that was an option.

Staff was great and cordial! but the hotel needs updating. Mirror in bathroom was peeling. Bathroom had sewer smell. Headboard on bed was filthy and one side was falling. Curtains over the a/c unit were filthy and old. So old and worn sun shown through them in many places.

A nice hotel that i would stay in again. Friendly and helpful staff. We liked their pillows and bed. Slept well. Variety of both hot and cold breakfast.

No food or ran out of breakfast food at 745 had to wait for more food to be cooked

So went back to room tried to go to bed. Seemed like the smell was coming through the walls. Then next room over had Tv on full blast all night long. Tried to call front desk to see if she could take care of the but the phone didn't work. So we checked out about 4am.

Always stay here when I come to Odessa. Rooms are nice and clean. Front Desk employees are always nice and accommodating.

Hotel was easy to find with good well lit parking. Nice area. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and there were plenty of items to go around.

Great hotel, clean and relaxed stay

Only had 2 towels, in the room. Ask for 2 more sets and was told they had no clean towels. Also ask for more coffee for the room and had to go buy cream and sugar. I was there for a funeral and not to have towels or coffee or cream and sugar in the room only added stress to my other wise stressful stay. Not sure if i will be staying with holiday inn express again.

This property is truly our favorite to stay when we visit West Texas. The staff are ALWAYS friendly & helpful!!

everything with the hotel was wonderful, room very clean. with the exception of the breakfast some of the items ran out and never were filled again, I think night shift Friday night staff probably wasn't in a bad mood, she was answering my question with short sentences, not very cooperative at all. Beside that the hotel comply with my expectative I truly recommend it to stay in.

The place was great did have any issues with the service or room the only thing is for breakfast was that we could not get pancakes the pancake maker was not on and no sign starting it was not working some of the food didn't look to appealing but others than that the motel was great

The shower was leaking and would flood the bathroom floor each time we used it. The room overall was in poor condition; very worn carpet, bedding, etc. Very thin towels, not good at soaking up all the water that had flooded the bathroom floor. Worst coffee I've ever had in my life; it was sludge. I tried to let the front desk know about the shower issue when we were leaving, but I waited 10 minutes at the front desk and called out for assistance and no one ever showed up. Property needs major renovation.

We had a very comfortable, nice room, and the hotel is neat and clean and was spotless. Very good hot breakfast. Front desk staff was terrific. Also nice workout room. The location was great, near many amenities/restaurants,grocery stores.

Our three-year-old son found a pill in the floor of our hotel room on the last night of our stay. He had been playing in the floor when a toy rolled to the end of the bed and he happened to stumble upon the pill. It was a small green and white capsule that definitely didn’t come from us. He got excited thinking it was his candy he had on the night stand. Thank god I was standing next to him when this occurred so I could get it away from him. As someone who works in a pediatric ICU, I often see the deadly consequences that occurs when children accidentally stumble upon medications and ingest it. Finding this pill was in addition to the beer bottle caps that were also found in the floor nights prior. As a hotel that prides themselves in cleanliness I was a bit frustrated to find these things and went down to the front desk and handed the pill to the lady. I let her know what happened and she took the pill, apologized, and said she would get her manager to contact us. It has since been 2 weeks since our stay and this hotel, or possibly manager, has given us the run around. First, she was out of town. Next, she was already gone for the day. But today, my husband waited 10 minutes to speak to her when she finally got on the phone and told him she was on a phone call and would call back. But to no surprise, she still hasn’t returned a phone call. To not even have the decency to reach out and offer an apology appalls me. I just hope this never happens to anyway else.

The only ussue we had was the beds were hard. But thay is a personal preference. Customer Service was outstanding and the check in/check out process was a breeze. Breakfast was very good and varied the days we were there. Coffees were hot and strong, much needed for those cold mornings we were heading out.

Everything was great overal, just a couple hiccups. There wasn’t a remote in the room, but easily fixed, they brought one right up. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable and only 2 pillows per bed. I could’ve requested more pillows, but let it go since we were only staying one night. Invest in newer, pillow top mattresses though, please. Everything else was perfect. I would stay here again.

The property was clean and there were COVID precautions in place.

It was quiet. Thought it was unique that the continental breakfast was behind the register to keep the hotel guest safe however the person serving the food was not wearing a mask or gloves and he did not sanitize his hands.

From the parking lot wasn’t working with key. I had to go all the way around to get in the building. Never saw anyone that can help me. No breakfast either.

It was just a little staycation but the room was nice and clean. The service was really good as well.

I reserved an accessible room which had a wonderful shower stall and was very spacious. The big problem was the seat had been taken out of the wall and there was no where to sit. That is the main reason I need an accessible room. That was very disappointing to say the least. Also no tissues in the room.

the evening shift, 3-11 person working the desk was extrememly rude. He asked questions but overtalked me when I was trying to answer his questions. And afterward made a rude comment and walked off. I enjoy holiday inn express but this particular one will not get my business again. POOR customer service

We stayed the night because we were driving a long way and needed some rest, at check in the employee, and unfortunately i forgot his name, was extremely helpful and considerate, we had two toddlers that were very tired he checked us in in the best rooms and even took the time to get some milk for the boys since i had ran out already, amazing customer service, room was nice, clean, comfortable and very spacious.

Stay started not so bad. Then tried to take a shower and the water was cold. Let it run for about 10 minutes it never got warm. I called up front let them know that I couldn’t take a shower and I had to check out. Just giving them and FYI and maybe they could give me a small discount the manager was completely rude. Don’t stay at this hotel.

Average hotel no major complaints, starting to get run down

Hotel is comfortable but someone opened the room door around 3 am, luckily I had the lock and they could not get in when I reported the incident to the front desk they did not take any action or investigated what key had been used, they didn;t even offered an apology or looked concerned. This is a serious security issue that could easily be reviewed by checking door logs. They need to improve their processes and take security issues seriously. I'd not stay again in this property.

The room only had decaf coffee no regular. The ac didn’t work well and it was super hot in the room.

Room was clean, but there was dirty socks under bench by television. Room above was loud.

Toilet didn’t work and even after they were told every morning for three days it still didn’t work they were indifferent. Asked about swapping rooms but that was out of the question because “they were turning people away” so I should be happy with what I have. Coffee maker didn’t work in the room and they were responsive to that. Internet access was slow. Video conferencing is out of the question. This was definitely the worst experience I have had at a Holiday Inn. Breakfast never changed during the week.
