Great staff, great room with personalized touches, great food at restaurants, small gym and no spa on site. Fabulous hotel, would return!

Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurant and bar…

First time staying in flat iron district. Everything lived up to expectations.

The room was quite small for the price. There were inadequate places for our clothing, not enough closet or drawer space. Not good value.

Great staff, hotel, bar restaurant all there

We travelled to New York to celebrate our honeymoon and brought our toddler along, and the team made all three of us feel genuinely special throughout our stay. A particularly thoughtful touch was the beautiful teddy bear waiting in our daughter’s room to commemorate her stay, which she absolutely loved. Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. The amenities were outstanding, the rooms were luxurious and impeccably maintained, and the quality of the furnishings and design was remarkable. Every space felt thoughtfully curated, we often joked that it felt like we were living inside a beautiful painting. The location is another huge highlight. In our opinion, it couldn’t be better. You’re right in the heart of everything, with fantastic bars, restaurants, and cafés all within walking distance. We were able to explore so much of the city on foot rather than relying on the subway or taxis, which made our trip even more enjoyable. But if you do need to access the underground, it’s literally a two minute walk from the hotel doors. Thank you to everyone at the Fifth Avenue hotel for making our honeymoon so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return.

Great hotel with great staff

A wonderful experience all the way around! The only thing I didn’t like was that their signature scent (candles and such in the lobby) doesn’t smell good.

Room was beautiful, very European and chic. Carmenelli cafe is wonderful for breakfast and dinner, portrait is an extremely popular bar. Staff was very friendly.The view from our room was not very good.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the room made the stay feel extra special. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or any The Fifth Avenue Hotel definitely isn't cheap, but if you're looking for a luxury stay with personality, great service, and beautiful design, it's absolutely worth considering. I'd happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable New York hotel experience.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel! Everything is stylish, luxurious and super clean. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Room service breakfast was delicious. The Portrait Bar has a great atmosphere and very good light bites and drinks.

This is a beautifully designed property staffed with kind and helpful professionals. We loved the Mansion suite - elegant furnishings and wallpaper, with a constantly refreshed "maxi-bar" full of treats. The Portrait Bar - open only to guests during the day - is a welcome respite while waiting for your room or taking a break from all the walking in the city. Especially high praise goes to the concierge, who was able to secure a reservation at one of NYC's notoriously most difficult-to-book restaurants. The chef personally welcomed us when we arrived! High-quality housekeeping visits 2x a day; timing was seamless with our comings-and goings.
