The Gilmore, an AvantStay Hotel

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and spacious Close to wonderful shops and restaurants. We booked it for my daughter’s Belmont University orientation. Please note that Expedia lists it as a 6 min walk to Belmont but it is actually a 1-mile (20 min) walk.

I’ve stayed at the Gilmore twice now and it will be my go to place to stay in Nashville. It’s located in a great area. The staff is very friendly and super helpful.

Great hotel in a great location of Nashville.

I literally cannot say enough about how great our stay was! The room was beautiful! It was like being in an apartment. We were able to have a meal we cooked in the room, which was so much more helpful for sensitive stomachs. The kitchen was beautiful and fully furnished. The shower was amazing and had such luxurious products. My daughter loved the robe! The bed was wonderful and I LOVED that the windows opened. We slept with the windows open to catch a light breeze and enjoy the evening air and sounds. It was such a wonderful stay. Everything was new, clean, and sleek. We will certainly be staying here on all future visits.

I thought parking was especially expensive for what it was, no iron or ironing board in room was a shock and an inconvenience but the location was excellent and the staff super nice.

Clean comfortable modern hotel with everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, quality sheets and bath products. Great location for exploring the 12 south neighborhood and visiting Belmont u. We loved it. Breakfast pastries from local bakery in the morning and quality coffee in the lobby on top of the nespresso in the room were a great touch. The courtyard is beautiful. I rarely write reviews, but this place was fantastic.

Booked this hotel for 4 nights, in town for the CMA fest. The good, the location is great close to restaurants and right off 12 South. The bad, after day two, we were coming back from lunch and approaching our room, there was this roach at least 2 inches crawling by our door to get in our room. My boyfriend has an umbrella in hand and it was above the door. He swatted it, landed on the carpet and he stepped on it and killed it. I was so freaked out by the size of that thing I literally could barely breathe. At the end of the hall was a housekeeper and she came over and had a broom and a plastic thing to pick it up. She acted like it was normal. I honestly never saw a bigger roach in my entire life. I told the girl at the check-in counter and she basically said they have an exterminator monthly.... not much to say but said she gets freaked out by them. Okay, the next two days I was like a sleuth in fear of seeing them in my room. Not good.. on a different note, the area rug carpet in there is absolutely filthy. If you aren't going to have clean them then at least get it out and not have it at all or offer disposable slippers. The shower wasn't clean as well. I don't recommend this hotel due to these factors, regardless of the location. I don't ever write reviews either, but this one was definitely warranted.
