To be fair, the inside of this property was very nice. it looks like it had recently had a makeover. Bed and bedding was very comfortable, bathroom was nice and reasonably quiet. And the owner did book me an early morning cab (4AM) The location! I walked around the entire block and had the fellow assigned to checking me in not talked to me on my second go around, I never would have found it. The address is barely visible. The entry is on what looks like a dark alleyway with graffiti on the walls and an overstuffed garbage can. I was nervous enough about meeting a taxi at 4 AM by myself, but when I saw the location, my anxiety amped up. The taxi did not show so I called the owner who called again and they said 10 minutes and they still didn’t show. one more call and I was told 10 more minutes in the meantime a fellow who appeared on the street told me I should not be out there by myself as it was unsafe. what was I going to do? I was locked out of the building. There is no manager on-site. I was a nervous wreck. Finally after 45 minutes a taxi showed on the opposite side of the street, probably the one ordered. Ge wanted 50 Euro ($50 US approx) to go 4 miles to the airport . I had no other choice. I almost missed my flight home. I would never stay there again nor even in Naples. Even Rick Steve’s says Naples is unsafe and the taxi drivers rip you off. wish I had chosen another city to fly out of. The owner did their best at making the inside nice and trying to get me a cab, it was all the rest that made this a nightmare for me. a single woman.

Comfortable room. Very clean. Great breakfast. Someone in a previous review mentioned the shared kitchen. It’s not available to guests and is only for breakfast by the wonderful staff. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator guests had access to. Other than that my stay was excellent. Great location for getting from the metro and to the ferry.

What a wonderful place to stay in this great great town. The room was spacious, beautiful and very clean. There was even a small fridge with water in it. We had breakfast on the small balcony looking over to the volcano :) The owners were so so nice, helpful and sweet. There is an extra bell with the name of the apartment underneath the other bells of the people living in the same building. Its not hard to find the road and number. Breakfast was delicious, the croissants were made fresh in the morning, in addition to that we had fruit, orange juice, cappuccino, toast, ham, cheese, cereal and yoghurt. What more can you ask for :) Thank you so much for this wonderful stay, we will definitely come back one day and can highly recommend I Canestrari

Very clean and spacious room! Gennaro was an excellent host and greeted us so warmly! Great help with all the luggage :) We had a lot of bags, and a baby with a stroller. So keep in mind that the elevator is very small and u need a few trips up :)

Balcony and nice breakfast with fresh croissants. Also great location, close to the port and the city center. We were able to work eberywhere.

The location is hard to find, out taxi driver from the airport could not find the place. Luckily when we were walking around with Google maps, the host from the B&B saw us from the window and went downstairs to allocate the hotel (maybe bigger sign should be installed). Our airplane was early in the morning, and we ordered taxi through Booking.com and the driver arrived exactly where we were-that was convenient. The breakfast was similar every day: Coffee, croissant,sweet pie, jams and banana. I would suggest to add some salty snacks as cheese/prosciutto and boiled eggs. First day was okay, but for next days we went out to have smth not sweet for breakfast.

Lovely room, in a quiet area not too far from the centre. Helpful staff. breakfast was basically the same every day. No permanent staff around.
