Super cool!

Outside was so noisy, but when you shut the windows it is all quiet. Balconies are tight but at least there is a balcony :)

Very touristy location, perfect for those wanting to experience the historic city center. The accomodations are super clean, modern and nice, and just stepping into the building makes you feel special, since it's inside a renovated palace. Super friendly and trustworthy staff.

The location was great for easy access to metro, to the National Archaeological Museum, and SpaccaNapoli was right across the street. The staff was very helpful and was waiting as agreed for our arrival. The building itself has quite an interesting place in history! From previous reviewers, we were aware that the room would require multiple flights of steps. Remember, "third floor" in Europe is equivalent to "fourth floor" in the USA. And, with very high ceilings, it was more like a 6 flight hike. Some reviewers cited the loudness of the streets. We travel with a white sound device and didn't find the noise level to be too much.

The property is well located, the room was comfortable and spacious We had some issues with the shower and toilet which was fixed the following day

Very clean!

I loved this place! The room was spacious, the staff was so nice, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked really well, and the location was perfect! Best of all, it's in an amazing historic building. My only (very small) complaint is the shower — it looked great, but the water flow wasn’t very good because the holes were too far apart and thin, so the water didn’t cover much area. I ended up washing my hair with the hand shower, which was a bit tricky.

Great location, nice specious room, very clean and have all the facilities. The staff was very friendly and informative - they took good care of us - thank you! The historical building is a nice bonus but access might be challenging for people with mobility limitations (it didn't bother us). The shower is somewhat open behind a blurred glass with no ability to fully close it.

Brilliant location, well placed for visits to the old historic centre and the Spanish quarter, and 10 minutes from a metro station. The building itself is very grand (and historically significant) and the B&B was well kept, cleaned every day, with a large well-equipped bathroom. They provide vouchers for breakfast in a café two minutes away which was quick and good (an Italian breakfast with a range of pastries to choose from, plus coffee/hot chocolate/juice etc). I had chosen this B&B because the website suggested that it offered a suite with a bed and sofa bed in the bedroom, plus another sofa bed in a separate living room. This is because I was traveling with my two sons who are young adults and they prefer not to share a bed. However when we arrived we were at first shown into a smaller room and then, when I looked shocked, into a large single room with a double bed and one sofa bed. I was told there was no suite. I think this would be a very good place to stay for a couple with one child, but if you want to book something bigger the website is misleading. At the very least, it would be a good idea to take a screenshot of what you think you have booked.

Staff were so kind & helpful. Room was large and spotlessly clean - housekeeping do a fantastic job. Free snacks in reception area was a nice touch. We were able to take advantage of early check in and luggage storage on our final day

Great location, right in the middle of the city, close to everything. Large and clean room with balcony. Great facilities in the room. Very friendly staff. Nothing about the accommodation. Naples as a city is loud. Make sure to bring good earplugs.

A Hidden Gem of History and Hospitality – 5 Stars! Staying at Dimora Doria D’Angri was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Their warmth, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of the property’s history added an extra layer of charm to the visit. Whether it was providing recommendations or ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, they were truly outstanding. The building itself is a masterpiece of history. Commissioned by Marcantonio Doria in the 18th century, it was constructed on the site of two previous Renaissance residences. The project, initially overseen by the renowned architect Luigi Vanvitelli, was later completed by his son, Carlo Vanvitelli. This palazzo is steeped in significance—on September 7, 1860, Giuseppe Garibaldi famously announced the annexation of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies to Italy from its balcony. Walking through its halls, you can feel the weight of history surrounding you. The interior seamlessly blends classic elegance with modern comfort. My room was beautifully designed, with a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every amenity was thoughtfully provided. I especially loved the stylish decor and the peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. A special mention to the staff, who made my stay truly memorable. Their kindness and professionalism were unmatched, always ensuring I had everything I needed. If you’re looking for a place that offers luxury, history, and top-tier hospitality, Dimora Doria D’Angri is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

It was very affordable for the room type and location. It’s right in the heart of Naples. The shower was like a steam room and very large. One of the best showers I’ve ever had. The hotel has stairs to get to it that isn’t mentioned anywhere. You take the elevator up then walk down stairs then walk up stairs in the hotel itself. It wasn’t as clean as I’d like. You can tell the top lamp was wiped but the base was full of dust. This was the case for many other things. When I opened the toilet it has a wad of hair in it although there was a label over the seat to prove it was cleaned. That was weird.

Very good

Liked only location. Where to start…run down, ants crawling on the walls, half the sockets not working, shower head ( can be easily replaced) leaking so much that it’s pretty much not needed, breakfast in some scruffy cafe next door with one cornetto and coffee or drink only. Breathtaking view is non-existent and it’s so noisy that you wouldn’t dare to open the balcony door. We were bombarded with messages prior to our arrival and in the end the guy with the keys was half an hour late. There is no one on site…when I asked for a receipt when I pay city tax, what’s up went silent…overall awful…

I loved that the property was clean and well located in the heart of Naples. I wish I had more instructions on opening the outside door but we ended up figuring it out.

The building was beautiful and the room was huge. Also in a great location There wasn’t really any staff around over the weekend but it wasn’t an issue for us
