Disappointing

It was in a great location, the bed was comfortable and the unit was spacious. The host was very friendly and attentive. Most of the towels were very old, thin and discoloured.

Very good location- perfect location to stay if you wanted to be in the middle of the historic center as we did. It was very easy to go anywhere we needed and to grab a taxi too. Host was very easy to speak with and always willing to help (he offered car pick up service and assisted to arrange a private tour that we ended up not taking). It’s not the type of B&B that we were used to stay in the US (like small boutique hotels), but mostly a suite in the floor of a residential building (you will think you arrived in the wrong location but once you understand Naples, that will make sense). Bedroom and bathroom were a good size. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. As mentioned above, it is more like a bedroom with a private bathroom that you rent (in Brazil, we would call as “pensão”). The worst of our experience was the AC. It did not work well in the afternoon when we were resting - we asked for help and someone came right away but he said it was working normally and we only had to wait a bit more that the room would get chill, but that never happened- we sweated all night and had a very uncomfortable stay. In the middle of the night, we told the host about the issue and we decided to cancel the second night and we offered to check out even earlier. They did not agree on a refund but offered to fix it and/or change rooms. After all the stress, we were already frustrated with the terrible night of sleep so we didn’t want to risk and we left anyway (when we went to pick the bags, the AC was actually working again and they actually kept it running while we were away - what should be something that they should have for all rooms during these very hot days by the way). The towels too were very poor quality.

The location is very good. The room is spacious, cleaning is perfect and the bed is very comfortable. We had some issues with the internet but Victor was very prompt and fixed it immediately.

Location was excellent! In the heart of the old town, everything nearby. Taxi around the corner. Comfortable bed and great lighting. Would highly recommend. Host, very helpful.

Location is in centro Storico so it was very convenient. If you travel with a lot of luggage and self checkin late then could be a bit of a challenge, cos you have to pick up the keys and it’s a second story and no elevator. But overall good value. Staff was helpful and also booked a transfer for me If travelling with heavy luggage short stairway could be a bit of challenge

Location in the center of the old town. The room is cozy, small and clean. Bathroom clean and nice with shower. An open kitchen for all guests located on the ground floor. Room with windows to the street, despite the double doors, does not block the noise. Scooters and motorcycles approaching the balcony, calls, horns did not let us sleep even one night. The room turned out to be surprisingly small - it contains a bed, a small desk and a wardrobe, which fill it to the maximum. There is a fridge in the room but to boil water you have to go downstairs to the kitchen where there was no kettle...

Location was good, in the historic center. The electrical outlets and night lights beside the bed did not work. Towels were changed every day but were repeatedly dirty, the picture demonstrates the state of cleanliness in fresh towels. This was the case everytime the towels were changed, so I doubt they were being washed properly. Also due to not wanting to use filthy towels we were forced to go purchase new ones on our own. Cleaner did not speak any English and was not the politest. Aswell as the towels, the rooms were not that clean.

Exceptional location. Excellent accommodation. Phenomenal people. Give Naples the opportunity to capture your heart forever. This place is pure magic, like no other in the entire world. It will inebriate you with majestic monuments, sumptuous history, gorgeous natural beauty, breathtaking views, delicious food, creative folklore, but most of all the warmth and the character of its people, who make this the most amazing place in the whole wide world. You can't help ending up LOVING even the chaotic traffic and the totally indisciplined driving, because at the most unexpected moment you will be touched by the hospirality and the smile of a Neapolotan and that will stay with you forever. Fiumara was a wonderful place to call home for a few days. Vittorio and Alberto were always present, magnificent hosts, they couldn't do enough for us with guidance, maps, directions and parking options. Even the local De Santo parking manager, Antonio, took care of our car and needs. Everything worked out perfectly, mastered by a mosaic of capable, resourceful and caring people, who take great pride in who thay are, what they do and give a positive impression of their city.. We will return and we will stay at Fiumara. We absolutely loved everything!!

good location The room smelt like cigarettes when we walked in. And smelt the whole time we were there. It was very noisy all night long. Major problem sleeping as the mattress protector is plastic so makes noises when moving. Linen wasn’t very clean, stains on bath mat as well. When the bathroom was cleaned all of the plugs were left out that caused the room to smell from the drains. lights didn’t work and flickered in the bathroom. light switch beside the bed didn’t work and the plug next to the bed didn’t work.
