Exceptional

Location, room itself, everything perfekt The shower was broke. It needs a new shower head but that's an easy fix. For there will be a new one when the next guest arrives.

Good and friendly comminication. Convenient location and lively neighborhood. Shared room / kitchen. Breakfast vouchers to have it on a nearby cafe with sitting on a square. No air conditioning. Window noise isolation not great.

Gigi is an exceptional host. He was a great communicator over Whatsapp, telling us about what we needed to know for arrival, check-in etc but also telling us about events and happenings during our stay in Naples. We also booked a walking tour with him, which was great. He showed us wonderful cafes, hidden gems in the city we would never have found ourselves, and send us to a GREAT restaurant for lunch. Other things I loved: the shared kitchen has a small washing machine for cleaning your clothes (no detergent provided that I could find) and a line outside for air drying. The water in the sink in the shared kitchen is nice for drinking, and we left fruit and leftover pizza in the large fridge. As listed, there is no AC. There was a ceiling fan and a powerful standing fan in the room which kept us comfortable. The only head's up I would give is that the street noise is significant. Late night revelers singing, followed by early morning construction, and the occasional motorbike speeding by made for a noisy room with the windows open. Try keeping the windows closed with the fans on and see if you feel cool enough to avoid some street noise from the heart of Napoli.

The host was extremely helpful. The location is great. The breakfast which included in a nearby cafe was very tasty. The Music concert the host recommended was excellent.

B & B "Centro Antico" exceeded all my expectations. The location is superb, in the historical center of Napoli across the street from the Museo Cappella Sansevero and a 10-minute walk to the Museo Archeologico Nazionale. The room and the common area, both decorated with the discerning traveler in mind, offer an intimate home-like atmosphere and a tranquil respite from the amazing energy of Napoli. Rivaling the location of the "Centro Antico," the courtesy and attentiveness of the host and his staff are a model of hospitality. They enriched my stay immensely by pointing me to cultural sites and itineraries off the beaten path that made my trip unforgettable, and arranged airport transport and other practicalities for me as well. My experience at the "Centro Antico" confirmed that its accolades are well-deserved and left me longing to return and discover more of what Napoli has to reveal. Though not an issue for me, travelers with limited mobility should keep in mind that the B & B is accessed up about a dozen stairs.

The layout was perfect for our group! We were really comfortable. The stairs were cumbersome, but that's normal for Italy! The beds were comfy, but again, Italy isn't known for the softest plushiest beds. These ones still exceeded expectation.
