Overhead rain shower and shower that leaks.

Nothing! If I could put zero stars I would! First of all the room that was assigned to us was in a totally different address! 6 blocks away on a hill in a nasty dirty building! I booked for a modern clean hotel not an apartment room in a nasty neighborhood! The room had mold on tiles and walls! Whole room and building smelled like mold, not clean, stains all over sheets and couch, dusty that my foot turned black the moment I stepped on the floor! If you’re one of the unlucky ones they scam and put in a nasty room in a different address you will have no choice, I chose to book another hotel Chiaja same day it is superb versus this scam MH design hotel, by the way they refused to refund me after we complained about the room, shame on booking.com for doing business with a place like this!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, close to everything. The city has a great vibe, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, really good value for money. Nothing really!

The breakfast was great, the staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. The toilet didn’t flush when I first arrived and the shower drain didn’t work, so the bathroom flooded.

Rooms were big enough and clean. WiFi coverage in the entire room was not great, and there was no network inside either.

The key did not work so we had to go back to reception before accessing the room. There was no hot water (the tank needed to be turned on) and the toilet seat broke free every time it was "fixed". There were no blankets on the bed - we used the blankets for the hide a bed.

We liked the location as it was right next to the Spanish Quarter. The room was a bit noisy as we overlooked the street but the hustle and bustle gave a nice atmosphere to the place. We asked for a balcony with a view which we got, however we were unable to use the balcony as it had a huge air conditioning unit on it. Disappointing. Another downside was that we were told on arrival that there had been a fire at the hotel and the breakfast room was closed. To obtain our breakfast we were given a voucher to use at a cafe just over the road from the hotel. However the breakfast only included one pastry item and one coffee or tea and did not include orange juice as an alternative. This was very poor.

Breakfast in a local cafe using a voucher from the hotel. Nice enough, but would be much cheaper to book room-only and buy the breakfast myself. Somewhat lacking facilities, other than the hotel room.

The accommodation is pretty basic. Other than breakfast there really aren't any amenities. So if what you're looking for is a basic place to sleep then this is a good option
