Very convenient to the cruise terminal!! Friendly staff!! But learn some extra Spanish!!

The room was refreshing and clean. The location was ideal for our time there. A short walk to the beach and easily accessible transit options. I would definitely stay here again!

Minimalist hotel so not all the normal amenities like microwaves, ice machines, etc. definitely a hotel for grown folks that don't plan to b in their room all day. New restaurant on the bottom floor really good food, al la carte for the most part so it's gonna cost but good prices considering where u are. It's right on one of the main streets so very close to CVS and walgreens and some amazing restaurants u don't need a car to get to. 5 minute walk to the beach. When I checked in I got a nice glass of prosecco which was very nice. The rooftop pool is a nice touch, great views for it not being a very tall building and the area is a great lounge spot, the pool doesn't go more than 5 ft deep which was great because I cannot swim. I will definitely b booking this hotel again in the future, hopefully the rates stay the same with the additions. Only issue I had was the parking if u have your own transportation and valet parking is around $50 a day as well as the in room items. No fire stick option or way to add netflix or prime video on the tv, the phone in the room didn't work so had to call the desk and someone answered for the most part but many times I was sent to a full voicemail box. But again it's a minimalist hotel so you're not gonna get the same amenities as a DoubleTree or a Embassy suites but if u don't have a large party or a bunch of kids you'll b just fine

Up sun is a nice little boutique hotel in a prime location. I love going to nearby yoga studios when here and the close by food breakfast spots. I wish I could have enjoy the pool but the rudeness of guests talking loudly on cell speaker phones and being their friends to the pool virtually made it not too relaxing. And I gave up,

Really nice hotel which we stayed in after departing a cruise. Staff are super friendly and provide excellent service. The room was very good and the location was great for accessing South Beach, Ocean Drive, Washington Avenue and all that there is to do in those location. Restaurants, bars and shopping all really close by.

It was perfect. Very comfortable, right amenities. Minimalist decor which I love and very clean. Great location. Everything was perfect.

We had a great experience in upsun hotel. Hotel Staff including valet team, were pleasant from the beginning to the end of our vacation. We also liked that we were within walking distance of nearby stores and restaurants.

South beach, bars & restaurants all in walking distance. Bus stop outside route 100 take's you up and the coast. Hotel room was clean with pool on the roof with great views ( still working on the bar ). All the staff we meet were friendly and helpful. When the bar is finished this hotel will have everything you in one place for a great holiday.

The Upsun hotel was a decent stay, however there could have been a lot more effort put into this hotel to make it enjoyable for guests. A few notable examples would be repairing the showers as they tend to leak and leave a mess on the floor. The fridge was also broken and not cold. The floors were not swapped in the rooms, and the stationary items such as the ice bucket and coffee maker were not cleaned. The phone was broken and there was very minimal WiFi connection. Overall is rate the stay 2/5, only because at least we had a roof over our heads for the stay and I can’t complain about that.

Great location and friendly staff

I stayed at Upsun Hotel (formerly Urbanica) in Miami Beach. Their website advertises 24-hour front desk service, but staff were only consistently present around 3 PM at check-in. During check-in, staff were openly speaking negatively about prior guests in Spanish, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. My room phone didn’t work, so I had to use my cell to contact the front desk—calls went unanswered. The next day, I discovered the AC wasn’t working. After multiple failed attempts to reach staff and an empty front desk, I spent the day and evening trying to get help. At 11 PM, I finally reached someone who simply said, “There is nothing I can do.” No solutions, no fan, no room change—nothing, despite 85-degree heat and no ventilation. I was told it would be fixed at 8 AM. No one came. After repeated calls, I finally reached staff at 9:45 AM, who claimed they couldn’t help because the technician was off. I was given inconsistent and clearly false explanations about why I wasn’t contacted. The issue went unresolved for nearly 24 hours, and no one ever inspected the unit. When I spoke to the manager, she was dismissive, rude, and offered no meaningful resolution. This level of service is unacceptable. No communication, no accountability, and no basic hospitality. Save your money and stay elsewhere

Take two time payment on one day.

Construction was happening. The whole interior was in shambles. No signage for front door and had to wait for someone to appear after a 5 minute wait. It was dark and scary.
