Baseboards in bathroom were partially missing, bath tub plug would not close or move, was stuck open. Room was not really super clean, found a previous patrons sock between night stand and wall. Air Conditioner wouldn’t stay on overnight making it hot.

The TV in my room had a serious problem with the image quality. I asked the front desk person to have that taken care of, but nothing was done until I asked again the next day, when a different person had it done in 30 min.

Location When booking this hotel I requested "Pet Friendly". When I got to the hotel they said they were working on NOT being pet friendly and would not accept my dogs. But prior to that they said they would accept them if I paid $160.00 pet fee. I feel like I was lied to by the person on duty.

It was close to my destination and not to bad getting where we needed to go The smell of wet damp as soon as you walk in and the room also needs remodeling and you should not let big work trucks and trucks with campers park in the front sideways taking up 5 parking spaces where as us older customers had to park way in the back and walk from the empty back lot and they take up all the lot close to the front

Breakfast menu was fresh. Staff was helpful. The room was clean but smelled very weird and even the fitness center had an awful odor. The TV in my hotel room had a perpetual blue screen tint and was nearly unwatchable.

My only complaint is that I requested a room on an either floor 1 or 4 and got neither.

Staff stood and looked at me from the dining area for about 5 minutes when I wanted to check in. She was not doing anything - just standing and looking at me. Weird.

Room was great, spacious, and clean. The housekeeping staff (especially Isabella) was superb and very friendly. The front desk staff was not great. Whenever we had questions or asked for items for our room, it was either answered with an attitude or a roll of the eye. The pool was freezing and apparently we were supposed to tell the staff 4 hours prior that we wanted to use it so it would be warm enough to use. The key cards do not work properly for the pool or fitness center. There's a little trick you have to do to make the key card work to get into the pool. Overall it was an okay stay. Definitely do not plan on staying there again.

We have stayed at this location many times - it is clean but needs attention - the floors are sloping, which is concerning. This is not the first time we have been in a room where the floors slope. All in all good place, clean. Just needs some upkeep attention. The bar is pretty

Shower had mold in it. Lots of stains on the rug by the chair. We waited at least 10 minutes for someone to show up to check us in. Breakfast lady was rude and the food served was less than desirable.

This is the first Holiday Inn Express that we have stayed at that didn't include breakfast. There was an option to purchase at a discount through the app (2for $11.) It is $10 per person if purchased on site. Room was clean and comfortable. About what you'd expect..

They didn't give me a receipt when I checked out; my Expedia receipt doesn't match what this hotel actually charged my card. I called the hotel at 11:30 AM, but they don't feel like answering the phone at that time. They don't have voicemail. The phone just rings and finally hangs up. Does anybody even work there? It should not be this complicated just to get a receipt!

I have friends who live in McKinney and when they have a party/event, I will stay at this hotel instead of driving back to Fort Worth. All my stays have been excellent.

Room wasn’t clean upon arriving, sink wasn’t draining properly. When addressed didn’t recieve proper solutions

Heater worked to our satisfaction. Friday breakfast was ok.. not great. We ate eggs. English muffin. Bacon. Coffee. Apple juice. We did arrive breakfast at 915.. my fault late.

I was disappointed with our room I booked through Expedia. The hvac unit in the room was making the carpet wet so my husband went to call the front desk but our phone in the room didn’t work. He called the front desk from his cellphone. The toilet was continuously running. I find it hard to believe that no one that stayed in this room prior to us did not notify the front desk of all the issues.

not clean: a lot of mold and mildew in the grout of the shower in 311. we moved to 211. still not acceptable. otherwise room ok but nothing special.

Nice clean room, property and breakfast was wonderful. Checking in and out was easy and staff was very friendly. Property was very close to the soccer fields our grandson’s soccer team played at and also close to Lots of great eating places.

The room and building were in good condition but the ice machine was dirty. I drank melted ice cubes and was deathly ill for two days. The health department should make them clean the toxic bio-film from the dirty machine that makes toxic ice. I know it was the ice because only I drank it and only I was deathly ill. Definitely a horror story. I hope they clean the carpets better than their machine. Breakfast was dried eggs, not real. But bed was great. So goods and bads here.

I don’t expect a pristine room at some of the more affordable places. I do not expect, however, for mold in the shower grout, some unidentifiable (because I was not going to inspect too closely) gunk on the door jam, or for the drawer in the kitchenette to contain so many to-go condiments that the drawer stank like a fast food restaurant upon opening. There some cosmetic issues, but once I found the mold everything else took a back seat. The room served it purpose. But I will have to budget smarter next time around to avoid this situation again

Our room was quiet and clean. We were able to check in early. We went to breakfast an hour before it ended and the choices were slim. What was there had been there awhile. It wasn’t very fresh.

Mediocre for the price, but rather comfortable beds. Reception desk clerk was rather transactional and more focused on her phone than anything else.

Booked a king suite, checked in and was charged for a king suite. Room was already occupied when we went in, luckily they weren't in the room because that's a good way to get shot. Called the front desk and said somebody has their things in this room, she comes up. Girl says "I must've messed up the rooms when I was doing the reservations. I can put you in a standard king and discount it for your inconvenience" 2 days later I go to check out and ask if the room was discounted. She says no because you booked through Expedia and not us. Yes I booked through Expedia but I paid AT THE HOTEL. You can't tell me she couldn't have went back in and changed the amount charged to my card, since I had just paid there 15 minutes prior and she screwed up my reservation. The suite included complimentary breakfast for 2 but apparently the standard king didn't. Sign said breakfast buffet $9.99. I wasn't about to pay for $40 worth of breakfast for 2 days after I had already paid the extra in the beginning for a suite not a standard room. Day 2 only parking was in the back, neither key card worked so had to walk all the way around to the front door, I have a bad hip. 2 ladies at the desk. Said our keys won't open the door. Never seen either of them before this moment. Girl asked what room and programmed the cards again. Didn't ask for ID, didn't even ask our names. Could've found the keys laying in the parking lot, just said a random room and had access to steal their things

Blinds were broken, the toilet seat was wobbly, the sink was very slow to drain, paint chipped, elevator very rickety. When I asked questions I was treated like I was stupid.

The hotel has gone down since the first time I stayed 2 years ago. The A/C worked, but had to keep the temperature in the 60’s to keep the room decently cooled. The bathroom wasn’t super clean.

The room smelled moldy, likel the walls or carpet were wet, I was congested the entire time I was in my room, the sheets even felt damp and there was a stain on the bed sheets. Not pleased with the room/hotel

The rooms I stayed in needed a deep cleaning. The room could also use some updating and repairs. The common area was nice and the restaurant/bar was very spacious and welcoming.

The location was ideal based on the family we were visiting. The staff was very friendly. The only complaint is that the floor we were on, and the room we stayed in smelled musty, like a damp towel left to long on the floor. It also didn't appear as of our room was vacuumed the entire stay (7 days). The linens and towels were changed. Overall, it was acceptable. I probably will stay there again because of the price.

When we got out of the elevator, we were overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway and in our room. I get that a lot of hotels used to have smoking rooms once upon a time, but I think some deep cleaning is needed, especially for the carpets. Since the smell was in the halls and we had an early morning departure for surgery nearby, I didn’t request a different room. The room itself was fine, the odor wasn’t AS strong, but definitely noticeable, especially after coming back out from a shower.

I had searched around to find a room with a full walk in handicap shower as I am using a walker I had chosen the room on your website with the shower. When I got to the room it was a tub/shower combo. Therefore I was not able to shower for a procedure I was having the next morning. Very disappointed in this. The hotel did not have an alternate room available.

Comfort and Quietness!!!

Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was so so. Coffee tasted burnt.

India was at the front desk every day and always had a warm smile! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice comfortable stay. My teen daughter arrived separately because of a travel snafu and she took care to make sure she was safe and sound until we got there. Cudos to the staff and the hotel, definitely recommend!

The staff was extremely helpful! We really enjoyed that they have a snack/bar/breakfast area. The room was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. Only issue we really had was the AC would not stay on even though we chose the “stay on.” It would run constant but rev up and down noticeably every 15 minutes. The rev up would start with a hum and rattling. Making for a restless night sleep. My suggestion is bring your own white noise and turn up the volume to override the AC.

It’s is supposed to be Smoke free but the room smelled like cigar. And it was not very clean I found fake nails in the floor and hairs in shower

I booked a 1 bedroom king suite… and when I got there I got a bait and switch and they gave me a standard room with two queen beds not even a king! This is the worse experience of booking one thing and getting another that I have ever experienced!

The hotel was fine. Indoor pool area was good and the room was excellent. Breakfast on the other-hand was ok. I would not pay $9.99 for food that at another Holiday Inn's is free. Not too sure why.

We swam in the pool ans they were out I f towels to dry off with once we were ready to return to our room at 10pm. This led us to trecking back to our 4th floor room, leaving a water trail. We were thank ful for thw muggy temp at this time, but it sure made it difficult to sleep. We were unable to get the AC Unit in our room to regulate the whole time we were there. The checkout time was showing noon and while i was dressing after swimming about 11:25, the custodians opened the door and stated check p ut was at 11. I called the front desk and told them the situation and thwy did not confirm the actual checkout time but told us we were good and "it was fine". SO, Unsure if we had secured a later checkout or were late checking out. The rooms were stocked with dishes and all needed to cook quick grocery items, however, there wasnt any silverware to be found. They next morning at breakfast they again had their closing time listed at 10:30 but were frustrated when were in line at 10:10. They front desk employee huffed around the dining area and got us dishes and silverware and the lady tending the buffett went and made a few sausage patties to go with the two biscuits, spoonful of eggs already out. We asked about the other dishes they had and were told they wouldnt make more as they closed at 10.

When I arrived the two front desk employees were talking and I was not acknowledged but once I was it was a fast check in process. Room key didn’t work on our 2nd day and when I had to go down to get it activated again the guy at the front desk was not nice about it and pretty much insinuated I had the card on my phone and that’s why it stopped working. But other then that stay was fine and a convenient spot for us.

Easy to move around from there

Close to the airport. nice facility. had a restaurant which made it easy. Clean and very nice. Only complaint is i wish hotels would give you regular bar soap to use vs. soft soap. hate soft soap.

They even had plugins and USB at the restaurant/bar area. PANERA and some shopping (Boot Barn, book store, pet shop) a block away. KOHLS and Trader Joes on other side of interstate 75. Nice rooms great bed.

The only thing I didn't like is the pool is cold and uh, extremely rough on the bottom. Otherwise, this place is very clean and well run.

Stayed for 3 days, room was nice and clean. King Bed was comfortable, but couch bed very uncomfortable. Did have after hours bar and good breakfast.

During my stay at the Holiday Inn me and my family enjoyed the overall general cleanliness and good aroma through the hotel.

The king suiite was very comfortable. Bed was wonderful. We did not eat at the restaurant on site. We will defintely consider staying there again when visiting family in the McKinney area.

For sure the bathroom had black mold. Looked like a newer hotel on the outside but was pretty gross in the rooms. Won’t stay here again.

Couldn't have been more disappointed. I stay at Holiday Inn faithfully....this location was an absolute failure. Mold on shower walls. Rust all over the restroom. AC didn't work. Exposed screws in the walls. Felt more like a Motel 6. Do not stay at this location

Spacious and comfortable room with nice-sized bathroom. There were a few minor nicks and tears that needed repair. The bartender was friendly but the lobby staff weren't especially friendly.

2 things: #1 the man who checked us in was a bit snarky, which I didn’t care for. #2 they had us put down a $25 deposit for our room keys and sign a form that we would return them. The next morning when we checked out I gave them the keys and they said I would get my $ back. As of today the charge has posted and the refund has not. Hopefully it will post soon, but… why did I have to do that?
