Proximity to Dogo Onsen

Natural hot springs Old, toilet wonky.

The facility is very dated, albeit charming.

The room was amazing and the hotel was in a perfect location. All the staff were delightful at every encounter with them and so helpful when any questions did pop up. Would love to stay there again during any future stays in the area. No complaints or concerns.

Wide and very clean room, stylish relax rooms and corridors, bath and onsen, helpful and kind staff. Nothing - everything was okay.

Hotel room was quite noisy. In the room was possible heard lot of noisy sounds.

My rating is based on the stay at its sister hotel “Hanayuzuki” as notified by Dogo-no-Yado Katsuragi after booking. At Hanayuzuki, you’ll get the 70’s or 80’s vibe throughout the decorations and facilities. If you’re looking for a place with nostalgic style, it’s the place for you. - male/female indoor and outdoor natural hot springs on 11/F. - access to their walking distance’s sister hotel for hot springs. - balcony - large room - very close to Dogo Onsen and market street - good green teas - housekeepers are very polite and sincere, you can sense their enthusiasm - some have poor communication and felt like unwilling to answer your questions, but translating app can help - no restaurant; but it gives you a chance to walk around and find a lot of local restaurants with good values - not accepting credit card (in my case) for the extra hot spring tax

The hotel and its fixtures were a bit more dated than expected. The Japanese room styling was nice, but a bit less ryokan styled than I thought would be present.

Onsen Would like the outdoor onsen to be larger

Very good location, right next to Dogo Onsen, and the shopping street. Heaps of parking available The Spa Part of the Hotel is not available if you have any tattoos, precluding many many non-Japanese people from using them. This is a big part of staying here, so just be aware of this if you are booking and have tattoos, that you won't be able to use most of the facilities.
