M-17 Riad & Spa

Nice Riad, The employes are super nice, they did a great job. It is well located, near main atractions, and we felt safe due that is located near the royal palace, they are plenty of security in that area. Be aware that is near a mosque so you can hear the morning prayers... as all of the Rias in these budget it is kind of noisy. The best: the employes!!! Noisy. Since it is near a mosque you can hear the call for the morning prayers.

We loved the stay in this beautiful Riad. The stuff members were amazing, we thank them a lot for how great they were to us. Younes was amazingly helpful during our stay, he was there anytime we needed him until the very last minute. Soumia was so attentive to us and really profeso, we missed the first night in the Riad, but once we arrived they welcomed us and let us use the hammam, which was incredibly necessary for us at the moment, we’re grateful. Thank you again!

Very nice staff and very nice rooftop. They have very nice breakfast. And a very good portion of food. The place is at a very good location. Is close to most main attractions is within 15 min walks also very close to groceries shop and currency exchange places. Very handy. And the room is very clean and nice. Nothing

Exceptional

Great riad run by very kind and intelligent lady

New and modern riad but still very traditional. Hot water and powerful shower. Toiletries and fresh towels. Very peaceful and great location. By the palace and is a very safe area to be walking to and from the road at night. Local mosque too is a bonus. The fresh breakfast prepared every morning by Latifa was amazing, and she happily accommodated making me some eggs too. Youness welcomed me in as I arrived in the evening and had fresh mint tea. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was a cozy little hotel, but looked bigger due to the lovely light well in the middle of it. The breakfast room on the top floor was comfortable and open to the air. Having a larger #17 on the front door would have helped us find it more easily the first night when we were unfamiliar with what we were looking for. For my wife and elevator would have helped but we dealth with it.

The decoration of this riad are amazing, everything is new and clean. The location is perfect and you get homemade breakfast. Obviously I understood the location is in the centre of medina so some noises are expected.

Excellent location, welcoming and helpful staff (Yunus was amazing & always smiling), plenty of parking spaces available nearby so if your renting or driving will definitely help, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room should have some more light.

It was a very pretty Riad. It was small but as a single occupant it was adequate. I think two people may struggle in that space. The location was just a short walk from the main square. The breakfast was excellent. They have a very cute terrace and roof top terrace. The hammam was excellent. Staff very friendly- thank you to Yunus and Soumia. It was quite noisy. There was a mosque very close by and it sounded like the call to prayer was inside my room. The riad itself was also noisy- although I don’t think this is unique to this riad- if anyone was in the courtyard or walking to their room you could hear their conversations or opening and closing doors. But I think this is the general feel in all Riads. Sound proofing is non existent. The internet wasn’t working when I arrived- which wasn’t ideal and it took until 6/7pm the following day to fix. When fixed it wasn’t the strongest signal and would frequently drop. Hand soap would be helpful to provide.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the hammam with massage one evening. Breakfast was simple and good, got eggs too.

It’s in a great situation just 8 minutes walk from the cafés, restaurants and the main square. Everything was new as it has just been refurbished. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, the room was light and airy. There were 7 power points in the room where in most hotels you are lucky to get more than 1. The host’s Soumia and Mounia were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. My wife was unwell for a couple of days and they looked after her really well. The breakfast was excellent with eggs every day if you wanted them as well as a variety of breads cheese and pancakes. Nice rooftop terrace with comfortable seats, cool in the evening after the madness of the city. Can’t speak too highly of the Riad. Also Soumia was helpful when we made reservations for excursions, even though we didn’t use the company that she dealt with . We will definitely be back next time in Marrakech. Nothing really, unfortunate lack of water on our first evening but was rectified within a couple of hours while we out eating.
