Location was fine, but better directions for my taxi to do drop off would have been nice. The breakfast was very plain compared to other places I stayed and there was no coffee included. The staff were friendly, but not quick to respond to messages. It’s awful that there is staff who smoke all over the place (even the kitchen), and smelly ashtrays on the eating tables; it’s really gross for non smokers to sit in smoke to eat breakfast!!? People who want to smoke should be given a separate spot to do so. I had a private room, but the taps did not work well in the shower so it was hard to get hot water and it ran out quickly. The room was clean and the bedding washed with non-scented soap which is good for people like me with allergies.

It felt like a scam. I booked a room in a riad, but it turned out to be a hostel. When we arrived at reception, there were people sleeping there. To get to our room, we had to walk through a corridor with shared bathrooms. People were washing their feet in the sinks. Although the place is quiet between 1 AM and 7 AM, we didn’t sleep well because we had to wake up at 7 AM every day. There was also a strong smell of urine near the foot of our bed.

Abdullah was helpful, he gave us all information and assistance we asked for. Location was okey, but generally that part of medina doesn't look too good. Breakfast was altight, not too big but keeps you full (only one egg in omlet for example) Riad is actually part of hostel, so basically you have private room in hostel. It was very noisy every night, room is small and humidity is high. Hot water was present but i had to wait a bit and adjust shower until it was there.

Low budget/quality - friendly and helpful staff. Needs a lick of paint and new furnishings. Photos to be updated to show quality as it presently is.

The internet connection works without problems and you can wash with hot water. The overall impression of the room is decent, especially compared to the other rooms, which are shared. The breakfast was adequate. Confusion with the name and address of the accommodation. For some unknown reason, the accommodation appears under different names. On Booking it is Riad For You, but outside the door it says Hostle Kasbah Red Castle. With backpacks on, we spent 1.5 hours wandering the streets trying to find the right place based on the name and address given on Booking, which as it turned out was not accurate. The app CityMaps 2 Go recommended by the accommodation could not find Riad For You, as well as many locals. Finally, an employee of another accommodation brought us there. The whole house sound through the walls, even though there are no windows and the room is cold. I'm not going to complain about the water not stopping in the shower or the floor in the bathroom not being clean or that upon arrival it turns out that the price on Booking did not include the city tax, because this is normal when traveling in this area. However, it could be possible to use the device to heat the room a little or could be possible hang clothes without the hanger falling over. TO CONCLUSION: In general, the accommodation is not suitable for European tourists, as they are used to better conditions.
