Great walking distance to touristic areas

Staff was not helpful at all we were travelers did not receive detailed information instructions or directions to parking deck. Had to ask multiple times and tell them we weren't familiar with the area. Check out staff was also rude and dismissive for no reason at all. My hello got a rude give me a minute ma'am. Then a sharp look from person who I simply said hello to as a formal greeting. Anyway it was clean and ty god we only stayed one night.

We stayed at this hotel for one night to break up a longer road trip. It is within walking distance to the Louisville Slugger Museum, and the parking garage ($25/night) is conveniently located right next door to the hotel. The lobby of the hotel is small and kind of dark, but there is a brighter, larger space adjacent to it where you can eat the complimentary breakfast in the morning or charge your computer, catch up on work, etc. The rooms are clean, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable! The breakfast is tasty too and has something for everyone-- a nice selection of drinks and hot and cold items (cereal, toast, eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc). This was only my second trip to Louisville, and I probably won't have a reason to go again; however, I'd definitely book this Holiday Inn Express again if I needed accommodations in the city!

That it was close to everything. I thought the parking was free but then I was told I paid for it in booking.

Convenient--just 1 block from the Louisville Slugger Museum and the historic district that has multiple museums and eateries. Parking was fee ($18), but right next door and is good until late in the evening of checkout. Downside: there were several unhoused nearby, but we at no time felt unsafe. Security present in the parking garage.

Great location,helpful staff. The receptionist named Sky was wonderful, helpful and made me feel welcome from the time I got there. She told me about the hotel and gave me a snack bag and some great restaurant recommendations. She should be the trainer. This is how a great experience is delivered. Bravo Sky

Parking garage doesnt connect to hotel and no elevator to main level from upper levels...not ADA compliant. Lobby is dark but rooms were nice. Typical downtown vibe.

The hotel seemed new. Very clean and modern. Well lit. Breakfast was very good.

Only one luggage cart which is a pain. Room given was not what was booked, but they made up for it by offering an additional room to accommodate our party at a reduced rate and we made it work. The friendly staff and convenient location more than made up for it!
