Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Louisville East

The hotel itself was great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We were even able to get connected rooms and open them up between the two. Staff was ok. I had to get a key card redone and it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee, but she was awesome enough to get us the conjoined rooms. The biggest complaint/concern was that there is no hot tub but you can see on in the main pictures. You can tell where it use to be by the pool and that they filled it in with cement

The hallway leading to the elevator could stand a good cleaning. The furniture in the lobby could also stand a good cleaning. The staff was fine and tried to help when we needed something.

The rooms were clean, but the only reason they didn't get 5 ⭐'s is because the 🚽 was broken in one of my rooms and they couldn't fix it til after we checked out. Other then that, staff was nice, great breakfast, love the little kitchens in our rooms. Pool looked nice didn't get to swim in it.

The overall thing was very good my only no no is that the swimming pool was very very, very cold for everybody

Nice room with living room and a kitchen. Indoor pool was nice on a rainy day. Housekeeping staff was friendly but front desk was not friendly.

As usual this was a good experience and the best value in the area. Staff was good, rooms were clean and breakfast was adequate.

I like the hotel and the staff. However, we've noticed during our last stays that the facility is in decline and the building and grounds upkeep is lacking attention. Breakfast offerings are sparcer than past years. It appears to us that Wyndham is harvesting this facility. I would like to see Wyndham invest in this property to bring it back up to past high standards.

The room was okay but the AC was so loud I had to turn it off so I could sleep. I slept uncomfortably warm. Water pressure in shower also low.

Clean and great location for shopping and food choices. Rooms are convenient and the staff is great.

Very clean, and ultimately this is what matters most to me so all was well. The hotel is on the run-down side, with lots of stains everywhere but—again— clean. Bed was comfy. All in all, fine but not great.

Starting to need updating

Jalen and Carron who were at the front desk when we checked in/out were so nice. The lady setting up breakfast was too. Phenomenal staff! The room was dated but very clean. The room had a closet in it and I assume it was an air conditioner behind the locked door. It rattled all.night.long. So loud! The hotel is non-smoking and yet the elevator and stairwell smelled like pot. The beds were not comfortable. Mine had a spring loose so I had to be careful not to roll on it.

Very convenient location behind the St Matthews Mall. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The sofa and chair in the room are comfortable. I’ve never stayed for breakfast, but it smells amazing.

Our server at Breakfast was amazing! Overall, the property was decent, food was decent. I would say this was a good value for the money. Nothing's super fancy but more than adequate. Some of the stuff in our room was run down. It did have some amenities that I wasn't expecting that were super nice like I magnifying mirror.
